Phantom Forest question - Five Second Pose - 2008-07-17

Um, now that I think about it, the Mansion's an event town... so would Crimsonwood Keep be the only place other versions could go to in Phantom Forest? Or will they get Haunted Mansion permanently later on? o_o

Phantom Forest question - whybanme - 2008-07-17

It would only make sense for only versions with Masteria to get CK, since the versions with the event map of the Haunted Mansion don't have any backstory on Masteria at all.

Phantom Forest question - Devil - 2008-07-17

They could get a slightly different version where Phantom Forrest is accessible via the World Tour NPC... Smile

Who knows... Wink

Phantom Forest question - Slip - 2008-07-17

What we need to know first is how Crimsonwood Keep will be accessed.

Then we might be able to pin at it or not.

I do believe that in phantom forest, a new portal will appear either to the far left of the prendergast mansion OR the headless horseman map will be moved and become replaced by another map branching off to Crimsonwood Keep.

Or maybe there'll be a map after the HH map, or the HH spawn could be removed entirely from that map, or maybe it'll be like Showa where bosses spawn before you get in the town.

Phantom Forest question - ZartMorder - 2008-07-17

There's also the possibility that the taxi will take you straight there.

Phantom Forest question - Five Second Pose - 2008-07-17

Orite, forgot about that.

That's not entirely true; CMS's event notice directly mentioned NLC, so whenever they do get it it's quite possible that they will get the mansion.

I suspect it'll be an entirely separate path, it would be far too cruel to make low levels have to risk passing Headless Horseman.

Personally i think it would be awesome to make them pass..
As a sort of HA to them.
Remember Mages/Warriors will be able to run from HH at around 40+
so..
Really only the SIns/bows have to worry.

Phantom Forest question - 'Lexy - 2008-07-17

You might as well put Showa after "Encounter with the Buddha." Eek

Archers have a hard enough time as it is, no need to make it practically impossible for them to visit a town. Even I would have trouble trying to get past him X_X

lol too true. It would be hilarious to see all those under lvl 70 maplers getting owned by HH when they're trying to go to Crimsonwood Keep.

Then again, HH takes a while to spawn so it'll be unlikely that it would ever happen. Plus if HH is in a map, the mapler will simply run and cc to another channel.

Phantom Forest question - Combattente - 2008-07-18

What if people don't kill HH anymore to make people die? So every channel would always have an HH. lols

But seriously I think that they will find out a way to let us go to CK without risk.. I still think there would be a portal on the right of the map of the HH.. Maybe they could remove it?

I'd hope there are some nice people in this world :[

...although I have always enjoyed the concept of PvP Wink

I think there gonna get it with the mansion..I can't imagine ms w/o hoodoos/voodoos it makes 4x-8x a joke

Phantom Forest question - Viper - 2008-07-19

I doubt anyones not going to kill HH on there way to CK, NxProse said CK will have 120+ stuff, but not in this patch, so when we get that, people will in and out of masteria, ptting up and such, and if HH happnes to spawn they'll just kill him, loot drops and make it easier for the lower levels to cross, if that was the way to CK, btw isn't there a tombstone on that map that acts as an NPC? It might make you chant an ancient spell to go in and out of CK or something.

He meant that we would not get any lvl 120+ stuff in the last patch because the last patch was a bug fix patch

Phantom Forest question - EndlessAxis - 2008-07-19

whoa 120 + stuff in CK? maybe we'll get some special ..never before seen equips..or maybe we'll just get a jar of dirt >_>

Phantom Forest question - Acim - 2008-07-20

It might be like going to Zombies. You have to be 45+ to enter, and then take a long hike through level 7x monsters to get there.
