Discuss.... - Thunda - 2008-07-16 Discuss: Any activities that is not directly detrimental to other humans should be legal. Food for thought: (examples to get you going) Incest Homosexual Marriage Prostitution Pornography Drugs (the ones that are currently illegal, such as marijuana and cocaine) Wearing seat belts Discuss.... - Brandini - 2008-07-16 People should be able to do anything they want without harming others. As long as the incest does not create life is fine, as long as no one is forced to do prostitution/porn its fine, but drugs have a different variable, if you get high you won't be accountable for your actions. Now are you completely stable.. errrr.... The consequences should be SEVER for violators though. Like you screw up- You go to prison. Butt rape prison. Discuss.... - WandererWillow - 2008-07-16 Sadly, this is a situation where people have screwed it up for everyone else. They abuse things like this and it ends up being done as more of a safeguard. I agree, homosexual marriage being outlawed is a bit conservative and childish...but prostitution and pornography have been used with people forcing others into it against their will. I remember seeing something that 40% of prostitutes in Vegas were forced to become prostitutes for one reason or another. Same with pornography. And consider that, if you start someone young, they don't know any better. Same with drugs. As for wearing your seatbelt, I agree that you should. The number of deaths by those not wearing them is ridiculous. Just buckle up. |
