lol my first serious poem ever? - DeviantSteve - 2009-05-29 Oh gosh! I guess since I kind of migrated here to stalk a friend this thread is solely for their amusement and maybe a few others. I see this section gets very little feedback. Perhaps poetry is not that popular among maplers. =P Untitled nonsense, mhmmmm. Alright well, I'm no poet, this is just fun with my mind. edit: excuse my misuse of commas in some parts hahahaha Oh what words can do, wonderous, evocative, words trandscendent through minds, human minds the unity that brings together, the disconnect of language the reformatting of thoughts, the embracing of ideas the belief in something, not inside but around you, a belief in an enigmatic, obscure something...using an adjective to describe what cannot be portrayed "odd" one might think, but that is the language that is the love of said language, that is the potential that is human achievement lying there to be judged by subjective eyes jury not quite unanimous, never a true peer review more-so an amalgam of opinions the melting pot of sentience the stew of our growth, which is slowly heated under the sphere of hydrogen which we call a star an infinite regress to our former state is what it might seem to be fate one may say, reality the other an incomparable standard which we hold our selves up to in our somewhat subconscious hopes our visions behind the rapid eye movement between the hours of dusk and dawn as each day comes, wishes and fears fluctuate imagination fades, conformity fades everything fades, but words can do it all- with effort strength from what you surround yourself with motivation from that which you cannot obtain I define life as a blank page and a full mind |
