As you can see it's a class with lots of traps and stealth. And to clarify yes, you can teleport behind, go invisible, and set traps and switch instantly locations with an enemy that's been hit with the a ninja tag. It's a class that focus' mainly on quick strikes and indirect ways of dealing with multiple enemies. This class was rated 4.5 stars out of 5 by the developers for difficulty, maily because as the levels get higher your damage is weaker, suggesting that you have to chain lots of combo's/strategies to take something bulky down.
This class by opinion is the strongest in PVP because it focus' on grappling. The video demonstrates majority of the playstyle of the KFM The developers also rated this class 4.0 out 5 on difficulty.
The blademaster is by far the most versatile out of all the classes. With its summoning swords you can summon 8 varients of swords:

Train Summon Swords - you can now engage multiple enemies with summoned swords.
Withdraw summoned swords - withdraws all swords in action, pulling enemies you struck toward you.
Summon protective swords - protects allies that are in exhaustion state
Summon defending swords - all allies in 10m radius do not take any damage for 5 seconds
Spirit of thunder - pins down summoned swords to the ground, striking enemies nearby with thunderbolt
Lightning swords - shoots out a sword that interrupts enemy skills for 8 seconds
Explosive swords -using 3 Sword Chi, stuns a target, and all enemies nearby.
Heavy swords - shoots out all swords under your control to a target, doing heavy damage.
It's controlled by "chi orbs", the farther the swords go away from you, the faster the chi is used. The blademaster was rated a flat 3 out of 5 from the developers as it has a rather efficient "parrying" defense/stance.
I figured this playlist would be the better alternative since it is available. The mage is the strongest out of all the classes, and unlike other games, focus' a lot on jumping, rather than spell standstills. They harness nearly all elements and focus on mob control. The developers have rated the mage a 2 out of 5 for difficulty, mainly because it dishes fast/hard damage at a good distance, although are very frail.
A true monster in mobbing. It has the fastest respawning AOE in the game, the largest HP, and the most disrespect to it's enemies. Although it is slow, and it's main attribute is rage, aka hulk with an axe, it makes up for it when the hits land, and with a giant axe, likely to happen. Not even mentioning it's outrageous defense, along with a shield he can create to block anything, the destroyer is a genuine slow ass tank. The developers have rated a 1 out of 5 in difficulty because of it's defense/attack stat's

What's the enhancment system
Blade and soul use a system call the bo-Pae. It functions like a pie chart which reflects your character health, attack power, defense ect ect. In total 8 different traits, and you get these pieces by killing monsters. You'll discover sets which are a collection of 3 (rare) 5 (epic) and 8 (unique) each kind of a tier within that pao set. You can mismatch them a bit to gain say, the ability of one set, then the ability of another, (5 health, 3 strength) ect ect. It gives a wide variety of builds that benefit you personally.
There are also "gem" enhancing, which currently is only available on weapons. It doesn't add attack points though, depending on the color you can add critical, damage, evasion hp, ect ect. So it's like cubing, with chosen results.
Also if you don't like a certain bopae peice you can disemble it and use it's "Dust" to enhance a higher level piece/set. It's not yet known how high you can go.
What's the skill tree like
Definately different. Instead of simply adding power to a skill, it also adds lower cooldown times, sounds basic right? Well, other skills can actually remove the cool down from the skill all together. For example a kung fu master, a leep stomp (a large leap, kind of like flash jump on MS, to get to a player quicker) has a 12 second cool down, but if you put another point in the skill, it will reset the cool down IF force punch skill is used in addition. It would also allow you to use force punch when stunned. So your skill leveling effects all skills and connects them to prefer'd combo's.
Oh and skill reset? Paid within the game, so mess around and get to know what skills you enjoy.
The organization is also great, you have one column of active skills, the other two column's are benefits towards those active skills.
Open world or dungeon runner
Open world, and you can participate in parties or solo with no penalties on either circumstance. The development team is trying to benefit the casual gamers so that you have a choice in how you want to play, rather than depending on solo or party.
It allows you to move fast, and reach places that would otherwise be unavailable. There is a limit so you can't use it 24/7.

This game looks so awesome. I'm going to have to get a god damn job already so I can get a PC strong enough for this game. I think I'm going to try Mage, Blade Master and probably going to main Kung Fu Master (just because the difficulty sounds fun).

Yeah I convinced him when we were looking for another way for SP to branch out. Although the information here will simply be regurgitated, it's more of an investment when it's received to the US as we can become the source of information.

There's only two forums that actively update on crap. MMO makes most of their information up, bladeandsouldojo is full of immaturity and squeezes any news out they can. @Link I know there is a B&S private server but that server is unstable.
Im more curious of what the hell they are going to do with the gunner class. People are still trying to deny it as it hasn't been actually announced yet but the data clearly teases that the class will exist. Although I'm sticking with blademaster it fits all my qualities I look in a class lol.
3rd beta I think is coming out this may. The summoner class is interesting to say the least it seems more like an "earthier" mage with the ability to have monsters enhance her DPS via DoT or debuffs. With the ability to heal as well, this class is going to be very frekin flexible.

Might be so, but paying monthly fee for a game is bullpomegranade. When I spend time on something I want to be able to access it at any time, regardless of if I'm active or not.
I really do believe F2P with premium content is the best model nowadays. F2P will always get the biggest playerbase, and even the non-paying players will make profit for the company. And there will be those hardcore addicts who pay astronomical sums for virtual currency like NX.
P2P isn't that good however. Take minecraft for example, game costs only 20euros, yet there's millions of cracked clients. For a small company like Mojang it's not easy(or possible) to fight against piracy either.

You're paying for maitenance. They continue to update the game while monitoring it. You are gurranteed decent customer service at this point because you're paying for a product.

Also think about how much it cost him to actually produce it? Not much I assure you, in comparison at least. There's also stuff outside of the actual game such as merchandise that supports him. The entire logic behind minecraft is creativity, it be pretty hypocritical of him to take away that ability from his fanbase.

WoW has the current largest playerbase and is subscription based (though it has incorporated some virtual currency/cash shop type features). Cash shops have a lot of potential to go wrong when they start impacting gameplay - for example, DFO and Maple. If it's too easy to buy items with real money and sell them in-game (or in any way profit in-game by spending money) the market is at risk of becoming trivialized. Pay to Play games tend to have economies that encourage farming or raiding as opposed to spend2win.
Your minecraft example...makes no sense. People crack EVERYTHING - movies, games, e-books. Why should Minecraft be any different? There are also "millions" of private servers, which are ethically similar to cracked game clients, for MMOs, F2P, Pay to Play, or otherwise.

LOL! So, I tried the game out the other day, just to see if it would run on any of my computers at all. It runs on my laptop, but NEVER loads on my dad's desktop. It runs so slowly on my laptop... but I did manage to find a resolution it's SOMEWHAT playable in :
It's so small, I can't even read what resolution it's in. 500-somethingx300-something
Even at this resolution, it's very laggy and monsters and NPCs have issues rendering. B> New computer
From what I can play, though, it's pretty neat. I don't like the lack of inventory space, though. x_x
Anyone know if this can run on a MAC? I could try it on this MAC my dad got from his work buddies for free if it does.

Soul Party is an event where users can meet and participate in activities. During this event, the dev team will announce the date for the 3rd CBT!

I played the pserv for a bit, it's SO BUGGY and unstable. At one point I fell off the earth and was stuck at the bottom of the sky running around down there, had to make a new char because it was completely stuck. LOL.

I'm not sure of what version you're playing but as of yet I haven't had many problems. A few hiccups during the first couple of quests but it's running smooth enough for me to analyze as of right now. I'm just looking for something manageable to see if it has lived up to my hopes. Considering the circumstance it has.
If anyone can reccomend a good uploader, I'll upload it and PM it to people interested. I'm not ver active on it though.

Unfortunately the private server info is very limited. Only up to level 15 skills, so there's not a lot to go off of, it's a lot more challenging than most games though, it's very strategic of when to dodge, retaliate, then block. It's far more of a defensive game in the start rather than offensive. Not something I'm used too.

That environment is legit the game. I played a pserver(although the content is so goddam limited that it's not worth putting the effort to installing) but the environment is by far the best aspect of this game.

I played with an integrated GPU in the previous beta. Now I have a cheap ATI card, but it's way better than the integrated GPU. But hey, they say BnS can run on low-end PCs, right? I'm curious with the performance of this card in BnS.
I dislike betas with a time restriction on it. The beta times for this period are inconvenient for me. At most I'll have around an hour to play when I get home from work or school. It's the weekend I'm looking forward too. :glitter:

Assassin is difficult because they are more Tech then anything. They start out strong but they don't gain a lot of strength. Blademaster is strangely enough a very defensive/retaliation class. I'm not sure I like it but I haven't tried out even the tip of their skillsets yet. Destroyer will be my alt if not more, I like the concept of the rage/giant axes.

So, today I had an hour and a half left because I got home from work early. My PC is old and I think it has a POST error. It automatically shuts down when I try to start it up. This takes me like 15 minutes to get it working 'properly'. Then I found out I had to patch. The patch from yesterday was a lot more bigger than today's. >_>
Finally got in the game, but I had like 30 minutes left since the server closes at 2:00 AM KST.
Decided to make a Summoner. Here are a few screenshots:
Too bad I didn't go far, I didn't even get to try my skills. I'm looking forward to the weekend, though.

Yeah the private server I'm using is updating the info as we speak, it should be available sometime next week. What's your opinion on summoner thus far? It's like a self bishop to me, it's interesting to say the least. Although the multi attacking seems to be a huge advantage compared to the more popular classes.
EDIT: By the way depending on the server's stability I'll be pming instructions to those request. I know some did but I didn't bother because the content was so dry it wasn't worth the effort.

I can't give you an opinion yet because my Summoner is only level 1. I didn't get far in the game, only to the point of giving my cat companion a name.
Got this bug yesterday and today at the same place, sucks. That and a queue for logging in. Approximately 778 players were placed in a queue to enter the game with their character. I had to wait ~20 minutes. Not good...
I wonder how they'll pull this off when the 3rd CBT is really starts.

What do you mean? You want videos? There are tons of videos uploaded on YouTube from players who have early access.

The private servers are working on the new data as of the early release.

I am totally sold for Kung-Fu Master. I was thinking Assassin or Blade Master since that is the class archetype I usually play, but dang, A gon fist fighter is just to brute to pass up on.

Not yet, no. It is the first version that goes into OBT, so only in Korea.

Just wanted to let those who didnt know.
Blade and soul confirmed to be a P2P game, about $15-20 figure we're looking at.
There is also no fatique system. Terrific news all together
