I actively volunteer for Special Olympics Connecticut as a unified partner, and I am currently transitioning from unified softball to unified bowling due to the sport season change. I'm OB3LISK. Although no one besides a few Maplestory friends address me by this, you can call me Terry.
I used to play Maplestory and I was pretty good, I was level 180 on my server. I was pretty good friends with most of the higher up people. Buttt. THe beginning of this year I just stopped caring about playing because I had started my second semester of college and it was getting slightly tougher and I had weird class times, sometimes early 7:30 in morning sometimes late till 8:30 at night.
But the main problem was that the game started revolving too much around nx and miracle cubes. I used to merchant hard and I did a good job, but merchanting wasn't the same and couldn't fund my character the same way someone who lived with their parents in real life working at wal mart and pouring all their money in NX could. It disheartened me.
(Another problem was that the friends I had would get dc hacked because they were so famous and did so many boss runs. I rarely got dc hacked myself but it sickened me that i had to stay low profile to stay safe. What a worthless game when it gets hacked and nothing is done.)
Customer service also sucks, which is another reason I left. It's pathetic.
But that aside, I play WoW now and don't really go to the maplestory parts of this section. You'll mostly see me in the social forums and maybe singing/harrassing some people on their visitor messages.
You'll rarely see me serious as a result, so hehe be sure to comment on my posts, it'll be fun.

Avid gamer. I have an on-off relationship with MapleStory frequently but I'll never say that I've quit the game. Own just about every system minus a PS3 which I'll probably end up getting eventually and stuff. I have a huge variety of games I play that can range from Guitar Hero to Battlefield to Resident Evil to Final Fantasy to MineCraft, ect ect.
Off of the gaming biz, I'm a technician for UL. I test various electrical stuff to safety standards to make sure no one ends up getting a product that'll end up killing them. Also a part-time instructor at Durham Tech whenever I'm contracted to do so.

Regarding Maple, I've been playing for a long time but never seriously. I've stopped playing since I came to France due to the internet here not allowing it, I've since lost my interest in the game and I really don't feel the urge to come back to play, specially since I got a different vision of the game once I was out of it.
Regarding gaming, I play random stuff. I love platform games, RPGs, TF2. I'm really bad at RTS, like REALLY bad.
In what concerns TV shows, I have watched a lot of anime but I'm on kind of a break now, I'll still go over to the anime section every once in a while to check what's new. As you can probably guess I'm a fan of MLP:FiM almost too deeply, it has made me do things I'd never have expected before like reading fanfiction, posting on a chan board and listening to music genres I didn't like before.
As for Southperry, I'm usually on the Social sections. I've been here for a while too so I've gone through several different personas in SP as time went on. First as an F/P player, then by contributing in formula discussions, posting about maple and all. Then wandered off to the social sections and all went downhill from there. I don't post quite as much as I used to, you can always find me lurking the Pony General thread, the pony group and threads in the Shenanigans and Angry Dome in general.
Finally, about my personal life, I'm 22 years old, born in Brazil and recently came to Paris/France to do 2 years of university study. I study chemical engineering.
I'm Brandon nice to meet everyone again. Joined a few weeks ago and just needed a site to catch up on all the lastest maple news without the colorful displays and video often displayed by the official site.
As for maplestory I've been playing a few months after it came out of beta and still play to this day. I quit playing for about 6 months but got back into it with the introduction of the Empress Boss.

I rejoined maple right at rebirth, after quitting right about 6 months after pirates came out. Played Lost saga and dragon's nest for a bit (lost saga for like all of summer ;-;) until I finally got my bro to change to avg so I could play dfo. :3

Name's Kevin. I joined Southperry way back in 2008, but only became an active member last fall, though now not as much. Sophomore in college, currently "interning" with my mom so I'm able to pick when I work, which is a major plus.
Only game I play now is Maplestory, though when I was younger I was an avid Pokemon/KH fan, and still get the Pokemon games just for kicks whenever I'm bored. Oh, and I Minecraft a bit, but since my creativity's on the downside I'm not into it that much.
Uh. I think that's about it. I tend to be extremely detached/objective most of the time, so don't take anything personal should we get into a spat.
I also do my best to give people meaningful advice whenever something's bugging them.

I play gMS in Windia, up untill recently I spent most of my time collecting Monster Cards, just because, and it's now almost impossible for me to continue doing that. Now that I've started school, most of my mapling is just killing bosses with friends or just chatting with guildies and buddies.
I also play kMS, in Culverin, which I usually do when gMS is down, or I'm bored or something. I've also played jMS in the past, back when everyone played in Kaede. But I've never really associated myself with the English communities in either of those versions.
As far as me as a member of Southperry, well, I mostly lurk and sometimes, I answer questions. My post count is pretty low, relative to the length of my membership here.

Hi I'm Belinda, I'm fairly new at SP and I wrote my intro post not that long ago so I don't want to repeat myself.
I work a job that's fairly stressful at times (long hours too) and MS helps me relax. I also play other games like TF2, Sims 3, Dragon Age, Mass Effect etc.
I've loved Mages ever since I started a little after beta finished (I have a soft spot for magic users in RPGs that have them in general) though recently I've become fond of Archers too. I've tried playing Thief class years ago but never got a hang of it.
When are we going to learn about the mysterious OP? I think for every person who writes a little about themselves, OP should also write one thing about him/herself.

I don't really play maple that much anymore, but I still enjoy the game every once and a while. I like to play loads of other games as well, RPGs, Platformers, Action Adventure and 3rd person shooters being some of my favorites.
I play the viola and the piano, and I love sitting down and listening to music from various anime and games and learning how to play them.
I've also recently discovered that I like My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic.

I've been playing maple since around 2006. I had lvl 96 hermit, lvl 76 priest, and a few other chars in scania until they all got hacked in 2007. I quit until Demethos and Pirates came out when my lil sister made an F/P mage, which became my main since she quit, and have taken a liking to their playing style ever since. I'm currently in hiatus due to Nexon's inability to do anything competently but may return one day.
As for my personal life, I'm 29, work as a programmer in NY, and I enjoy classic thrash and doom metal music (Metallica, Megadeth, etc.). This is all the information I'll divulge :]

My name is Daniel, with my online username being FrozNlite ever since my days playing Metroid Prime: Hunters for Nintendo DS. I was an avid gamer since the days of Pokemon Blue (a Nintendo fanboy with every system since GBC, excluding 3DS), but stopped for the past three years as college and life have set in. That being said, I do on occasion dip back into playing, like when Soul Silver came out last year, and just recently when my sister sent me a link to an online GBC emulator, where I have since replayed my way through the nostalgic GBC Zelda classics.
I started playing GMS back in 2006, hit Lv. 200 on my LOLFP in 2009, and, content with my various rankings, irritated about the necessary role of NX in increasing strength that came about with the potential system, and again, with the start of college, quit soon after. I've hopped online a few times since, if mostly to talk with anyone I know that still plays, though honestly the game is too broken for my taste anymore.
With regards to Southperry, I joined just after it launched, in August 2008. Given I've been an active gaming forumer for probably 5-10 years at this point, I've seen my fair share of forums rise and fall, and am still to this day a proud member here at the place I recognize for its relative maturity, intellect, and community. I used to go crazy on all ends of the site, but now that I don't play much of anything anymore I really only post in Social. That being said, I lurk a lot and still know what's going on in MS worldwide, to some degree.

I can be very blunt at times, since I need to be blunt with myself. I'm blunt with others because I want them to be blunt with me. I don't believe life is fair, but I do find it hilarious how unfair life can actually be at times. I don't really care about what other people think. I do care when they have opinions that I think can be used to make my life better. I don't really care what people are in real life. The more successful they are and the more they push it, it is likely I would despise them more for being pretentious. I would also be jealous.
I don't know why I'm still on this site. I had an initial fascination that I would contribute quality material to the site in terms of self-analysis and simplified science. Now a days, I just post mundane messages of encouragement, share funny images that I find on the internet, and chat it up with female Southperry users who I will never score with. I basically circle jerk these days and derive minimal enjoyment from the entire experience.
I have DeanNim and Flonne on my ignore list. I have a Bachelors in Science, but I am working a job 30-40 hours a week that doesn't even require a college diploma. I have two cavities. I have a parking ticket and a court day next week to scale the price up to $400 for no points. I do not have a PS3. I do not have Aspergers. I do not have a girlfriend. And I do not have faith in humanity. But I do think that things will work out in the end because I still have a place to sleep, a job to work, and people who will waste their time listening to someone as sarcastic and snarky as me when life goes tipsy turvy.

I'm Fiel, but you can call me Paul, Mech, or MechPaul. It doesn't matter. I'm currently 25.
My maplestory days started back in beta, and back then I did a lot of posting on GameFAQs. So, the Maplestory forum there has a special place in my heart. From there I moved on to Sleepywood. Once third and fourth jobs came out, I got interested in looking at the data. I posted extractions and guides for a while at Sleepywood. Soon after, I purposefully got myself banned from Sleepywood and started up Southperry. So, I'm Southperry's original CEO. Although I don't have any moderation or administrative powers like I did before (those now rest in Eos' capable hands), I still enjoy posting extractions and growing in my ability to program.
My interests are in languages, computing, security, reverse engineering, and information sharing. However, I also enjoy talking about theology, atheism, sci-fi, gaming, MMOs, and such. I also love SC2, and I watch GSL / MLG when I have time. I'm still a Platinum Zerg (though I have beaten diamond players), and I play casually. I'm also a HUGE brood war fan, and I follow that religiously. I have over 50 GB of Flash's games on my computer.
I got interested in programming back when I first went to college. I went to Purdue University originally for a computer engineering degree. In the first semester of courses, you were required to take a C Programming course. When I took the class I quickly became enthralled at how much control I had over what the computer did. The possibilities seemed endless. I never stopped learning about C, and I continued to program in my spare time. I currently know Python, C, PHP, and Assembly, but Python is definitely my bread and butter language. I wasn't able to finish my degree at Purdue, but I did eventually get an AAS in Information Systems.
Currently I work for ZAM Networks. Although I am not at liberty to say what I do on the job, I can say that I'm totally thrilled to be working with them. They're a good group of people.
I like to listen to metal, and I prefer death, tech death, thrash, power, and prog. Though when I'm not listening to metal you'll find me listening to K-pop, new age, and hard trance.

My current interests consist of Nintendo games, art, archery (evident by my main on Maple being a Bowmaster), series such as Sherlock/Doctor Who/Homestuck/Monk and some animes, though that list is very small.

Hi, I'm iamflip. No, I don't tend to give out personal information in general. That means no A/S/L from me. Well, the A and a specific L part anyway, as you can clearly see my gender and general location to the left of this post.
What I can say is that I'm just an avid computer gamer and resident tech support for family and friends. I'm also a Twitch.TV broadcaster and cast games live for people's entertainment. As for other interests, I love girls, sci-fi, video game music, and pikachus.
As for my Maple history, it goes way back and probably would bore you if I got around to it. I'll just say that I'm a respected yet humble Bishop in Windia with a well-established guild that has a venerated history that is as old as Windia itself.
And last of all, I'm nice to people that are nice to me and my friends. So I won't bite... mostly. :P

I'm a 23-year old college student majoring in Graphic Design. My school situation is a bit messy and complicated, and currently I'm hoping to get into a school in BC, Canada (I am currently finishing up a semester at a college in Wisconsin). I enjoy the field and have had job experience as a desktop publisher and know basic pre- and post-press operations. Screen printing is also fun. Hmm what else about me. I moved out of my parents' house two days after graduating high school, and have not regretted it a day since then; the reason being that they are extremely strict/conservative and I just don't agree with that.
I play video games, but mostly MapleStory. I've been playing since 2008. Maple is what also brought me and my current boyfriend together. I met him for the first time this past spring (he lives in Victoria, BC and my hometown is in the Chicago area). I wasn't really the type of person to see myself in a long-distance relationship, but it just kinda happened and, distance aside, I wouldn't change a thing.
Video games aside, should I choose to go out in the light of day, I enjoy playing volleyball from time to time, and taking pictures with my Nikon D60, and fishing from time to time.
Some random facts:
-Driving relaxes me and gives me time to think.
-I drink, but really only socially. Even then so, I prefer getting dressed up and going out to clubs as opposed to bars.
-I would KILL to see a Kaskade concert
-I hate coding with a passion (as in html/java/css/php/etc)
-Same goes for math. I have trouble timing damage reflect in bosses because I suck so bad at math.
-Fandoms I'll associate with: Maple, Supernatural, The Walking Dead, Code Geass
-I'm addicted to coffee...caffeine, really..but I don't drink soda.
-I don't spend much on clothes, but I will always buy good jeans (ie from the Buckle or something).

I'm Dan, 23 years old and studying. I live in Colombia, with my mom and my kitty. I play maple for a few months like once a year or two and then quit. Right now, the game is too boring, mind-numbing, expensive and time consuming so I haven't played in a month or so. I'm focusing on school and playing Dota 2 with all my free time. My name is Brady, I'm 17 years old in my last 2 weeks of high school as a senior.
I will be going to the University of Colorado: Colorado Springs this fall shooting for a BA in Psychology. After that I intend to get a masters in counseling psychology and shoot for a career as a family counselor who specializes in children with autism. Eventually I want to get a PHD in something relating to autism research as well.
I'm currently playing maple again with some new friends I met in broa as a bowmaster (Lv.146). I intend to get this guy at least to Lv.170 before I call my final verdict on the game.
Outside of maple studying shaolin kung fu is my current passion. It's basically been my only source of sanity with all the insanity going on everywhere else in my life and it's had an insanely positive impact on everything about me.
I've also dabbled in photography when I still lived in the mountains, but I'm far more restricted where I live now.

It's not that hard to switch profs since i had quite an amount of money to begin with(one of the benefits of being buffers, i guess)
actually i've tried playing malaysia server before picking izar as my main play world , and my 1st char created was the new job(at that time), the jolly ol pirate, with particularly low damages and remarkable high dying rates(again, at that time); not to mention buying or selling things using such a lame main, I QUIT. Hotheadedly.

I've been playing Maplestory since 2006 in MSEA, and it wasn't until 2007 when I started in GMS. Being an art hobbyist, I guess I can showcase some of my works and you guys might be able to tell me what you think of it. I have some experience with Autodesk MAYA, Mudbox, 3Ds Max, Aftereffects, and Adobe Premiere, but expect mostly traditional works. Seeing how I'm not very active on Maplestory anymore, I'll mostly likely hang out around in free-for-all or artist's canvas.
