I never used transform in third because of various glitches that existed at the time. (that don't exist now) Currently transform is useless regardless of if you have max spd/jump. After big bang it's worth using though because it provides attack that stacks with everything. You can leave transform for the end of your build either way.
A few more questions.
Looking over the attack speed reference blast is still listed as having a long delay. Just from looking at threads I've heard that was a change that was implemented so the reference appears a bit dated, understandable.
1. What is the new speed for blast? Is it the same speed just w/o the delay
2. How exactly is the speed calculated using that table. There is the spamming time then the time for the delay listed? Looks more like spamming time then time for the skill to be used listed. So spamming time - delay time = time needed to be filled by something else?
3. If blast is changed is there anything else on the table I should know about that may be off?
An unrelated question but
4. Can shockwave be used while in Super Transform? All signs point to yes but just looking for confirmation.
5. I guess on a more personal note, how often do you find yourself using blast while training in 4th?
Seems like it could still be utilized at timesl just due to it's speed at the least but perhaps it's majorly overshadowed by ds' higher base percentage.
6. Also what level did dragon strike replace blast for you?
I know level 11 looks to be ideal from the skill tables. 5 mobs instead of 4 and a bit higher base. But then again I think the speed of blast would still make it favored. Can't deny the range of ds though.
Lots of questions I know. The last 3 are ones that I'm sure I will answer for myself in due time but I guess I'm still on the outside looking in a bit.
O yeah, the 1 charge then 21 blast thing wasn't that bad but a bit worse than it should have been. Going back I think I'd go for 1 charge, 1 drain. 11 blast right off the bat. Charge time on level 1 charge isn't horrible but the added gain on blast from going 11->21 just isn't as great as I thought it could be, at least not where I was training at.

4) Yes.
5) All the time. Easily one of the most important skills you have.
6) 15ish. After bb, 5 mobs.

Not trying to go for the skip training to go for bossing route at all though. My current train of thought is more in line with trying to make shockwave a viable skill. If I go with Super Transform right out of the gate then within a few levels I'm at shockwave is useable 2/3rds of the time. At max sxform it's 3/4 of the time. The time you aren't in xform or sxform you have blast to fall back on, nothing when you are not in charge, xform,sxform though which will happen a fair amount.
My main concerns are about how SW is limited by certain types of maps and where do I go with the build after sxform is maxed. Dropping drain isn't a huge concern for me because it is something I can correct later on once we get resets and i adopt a different build.
Going somewhat hybrid with this option is something I was just considering as well. Get sxform to 8 to give it a 360 second cooldown. So I go transform -> sxform -> cd, on repeat each lasting 2 mins. Just to give my 4th job training a quick boost so I'm not playing around with a less useful DS for as many levels. Puts the overall skill build back 3 levels and once again I drop Drain.
Idk, just a few thoughts I've been kicking around. Not dedicated to anything yet.
If you want to man. I mean, the more skill points you get before BB the better off you'll be to a point. Shockwave is ok, but you're limited to anywhere other than leafre for training. Lots of grooved platforms there.
I was honestly expecting a lot more resistance. Is it the whole BB is around the corner so there's no point in talking me out of it thing?
It's the fact that SP resets exist that i don't really care what you do, lol. You're aware of it and are planning accordingly, so why should i stop you?
I just find myself doing the same thing on other sites so I found it kinda funny to see that's the attitude that's kind of taken hold of everyone.

At what level does demo outdamage max barrage/max ds on a single target?
I keep getting lvl 21 but just wanted to double check.

I'm not too good at judging stuff, but it seems like S/transform significantly slows the attacking speed of Dragon strike Post BB. Outside of transform, it's spammable, but in transformed state, it feels like the animation is slowed down. Can someone else confirm for me?
I noticed the same thing but the mobility and +40 weapon attack more than compensates for it.

No it isn't. ST'd DS in KMST was far faster than this, but i'm not really complaining. It will be this speed post-restructuring so little point changing it now.
Also, since dusk is lurking this thread, is orb stronger than DS at all targets right now? With orb at 780% and DS at 700% with pre-BB cast time?
I was gonna ask the same thing about DS speed while transformed...
Also, I'm not sure Transform and energy are 100% potion smart, I believe they should stack with 12 att potions but for me they didn't.
Transform isn't potion smart. It stacks with everything. Energy charge is potion smart. Transform works the way it should i am sure of that.
Glacial and Blaze Bullets. Do they make a difference anymore? I don't notice a difference when I'm using them/not using them....Anyone else confirm?
