I was thinking more of her administration of a tournament where she consistently disqualified teams that won against hers.

THESE GUYS ARE USING A RINGER! I HAVE NO PROOF, BUT I'M ALWAYS RIGHT!
Re: How was your day? - League of Legends edition
Just played a ranked match.
Got lots of raging going on on my team. Yeah, I made mistakes, and I admit it. But you're doing a disservice (plus you're wrong) to everyone if you rage at me instead of making constructive criticisms.

Did you jungle or support? Quite honestly even if its ranked i would just use the ignore button and go on playing, if the only thing he's saying is pomegranate then i don't need to read it, anything important can be conveyed with pings.

I played AD carry. I just simply played nice, ignored what they had to say, and reported them after. (The amount of rage they put out will definitely show up in the Tribunal, that's for sure). Though it makes my heart melt to see them throwing personal insults at me. My only thing to say to this is...."lol really? Are you really willing to resort to under-the-belt personal insults just to make yourself feel better? How sad"
Regardless, I will continue to play ranked and try to climb the ladder. These types of behavior motivates me to get better and get out of that ELO range.
Re: How was your day? - League of Legends edition
You can still get ragers in higher elo, but the legend says you will encounter less and less.
I asked the Jungler/Support question because those two are the one who gets the most pomegranate thrown at the end of a match. That and the single person that didn't belong to that 4 pre-made team..

My 1900 friend says there's very few ragers at his level. They start dropping off around 1500-1600
And I agree that the teammates should give you advice on what to do so you can improve next time. No one knows how to play this game perfectly as a team.
Re: How was your day? - League of Legends edition
TSM backed out of NESL because they couldn't stream it and would make more money streaming.
plantain move.

zzz didn't think they'd be plantainish enough to actually back out once they already signed up. I thought they said they wouldn't join tournaments if they can't stream, too.
Re: How was your day? - League of Legends edition
Couldn't help and notice how Reginald is playing Fizz regularly in ranked nowadays. And he's doing quite well.
Re: How was your day? - League of Legends edition
I played a few ranked games today. My ELO from 1197 went to 1100 today. I had feeders and leavers. The leavers were the feeders blaming the jungler because the jungler was helping the weakest lanes vs mid which was a strong counter to his opponent. My face when this happens again tonight.

I'm finding that having cross-team chat disabled makes me happy. :) Why did I not do this sooner? So much less headache. The only thing is that I don't know if anyone on the opposite team (or my team for that matter) needs to be reported for shit-talking. Ah well.
Also found out I can't play assassin types for shit. I buy champs based primarily on their looks (yea I'm shallow, so what) but it makes me sad because I'm terrible at both Akali and Katarina... who both look really cool. Whyyy

Sometimes the banter and exchanges are pretty funny. Some people can be pretty friendly, though that generally only happens with a mature base. Which... is pretty much mid-high elo =/
@y0y0y0y0shi0, you can't realistically stay out of range of skillshots as an AD carry. Skillshots generally outrange auto-attack range by anywhere between 100-600. The big tradeoff is that skillshots do not hit things reliably, and you can dance around minions to avoid most of them (not true in this case unfortunately).
Ashe's range is 600, so she's a little bit safer than the standard AD carry (550). In comparison, Leona's skillshot is 700 range, which is actually on the short end of the skillshot range spectrum. Her ultimate has a whopping 1200 range from center of champion to center of effect. Unless I plan on farming with Volley only (1200), you lose a lot in being paranoid about it and letting her zone you just because she might use it.

Pure myth by my experience and I'm around 1800 elo. Every elo range has around the same ratio of leavers/feeders/ragers/idiots/etc., granted I have never been below 1100 elo to testify on that.

You didn't do it sooner because it wasn't an option before. XD

800s report
this is true
Re: How was your day? - League of Legends edition
Solo queue early in the morning is pineappleing AWFUL.
I just ended up with the worst team I've seen in months, in many respects; they played like level 5s, raged in broken English, 2 of them AFKed.. etc. etc.

Au contraire. Usually in huge stomps I make friends with the other team for fun, either because I figure we're screwed and I might as well joke around or because I'm happy that we're gonna win, or I'm joking around with the person/people I'm laning against. I've made just as many friends who were on the other team as people who were on my team, I'd think.

You think that's bad, you'd hate what happens below the middle of the bell curve XD
Re: How was your day? - League of Legends edition
Below the bell curve is the greatest place in existence.
They call it heaven. ;3c
Re: How was your day? - League of Legends edition
I tend to get along better with the enemy team most of the time, probably because it's harder to get mad at them for anything going wrong vice your teammates. Some of the most fun matches I've had have been matches where the teams are exchanging witty banter, laughing at mistakes together, both teams hunting the other team's Teemo...etc. Had one hilarious game where I seem to recall both Teemos ending up within 500 range of each other hiding in bushes or something - when we finally realized what happened we couldnt stop laughing.
