Hmmmm, Mech's got a really nice DPS boost! That was needed since they're stationary and slow... ;)
Mechanic old DPS:
Calculations
===> Total: 4031.16%/s (26% ignore Boss-PDR because of summons)
Mechanic new DPS:
Calculations
===> Total: 7173.64%/s (15.58% ignore Boss-PDR because of summons)
That's about +77.95% DPS :P
Also:
- Tank Laser old: 857%/s
- Tank Laser new: 1562%/s +82.3%
- Tank Cannon old: 1450%/s
- Tank Cannon new: 1740%/s +20%
- SG-88 old: 1641%/s
- SG-88 new: 1890%/s +15.2%
- Punch Launcher old: 580%/s
- Punch Launcher new: 688%/s +18.6%
Yeah... regarding a person who sounds like they want a bishop to heal them while training.
"Hey, bishop in my party, would you mind taking a break from getting exp for yourself, so I don't have to take a break from getting exp for myself?"
And happylight was saying they don't even have to take a break to pot. It makes the insinuation that much more absurd that bishops should be healing you during training rather than getting exp, that thing we all train for in the first place.
i forgot to ask, does WAB have the ability to pot during animation like Hurricane does?
Besides empress, what boss deals enough damage that you'd be in constant need of heal?
BMs and Thiefs dodge like 50% of the hits anyway, and the hits that DO land hit like 5k at max.
7100% per second? So after this revamp, my 14x mech with nothing but a clean level 77 gun would solo zak in 25 min?Quote:

What the poop?
Well, don't forget, the new Siege mode cooldown = 100 shots (should be about 25 secs), after that you have to move again (bot protection, lol), so the actual DPS is a bit lower. This is just pure technical DPS wise.
Oh, and don't forget, you have to get max a lot of 4th job skills (Don't forget the summons) for the full 4th job damage. So a lvl 140 can't do 7100% ;)
I think bots n tots and rock n shock's extremely high setup time would actually make them detrimental to dps.
Well, for Rock n Shock at Zakum & Co, most likely yes, since Siege Mode is now more powerful now. But Bots n Tots is just 1x summon, and that's it, it shouldn't drain that much DPS since it lasts 60 seconds with robot mastery.
But for Papulatus speedruns, Rock 'n Shock is very useful (lasts 90 seconds with robot mastery, and that's at 300% DPS, because 150% DPS is avg which includes the cooldown).
I've said it before, but Evan's speed makes Mir look like a rag doll, I would very much like that they knocked the speed down a few levels and just upped the power of their moves, I never liked Dragon Sparkling anyway.
That and Phantom Imprint are the only Evan skills that makes it more to their advantage to be speedy.
It's not that I don't think a dragon could move that fast, it's just that while training it looks a bit ridiculous and Mir might as well not even be there considering he's just a blur.
Idk I just feel like speed is such a lazy solution and really doesn't fit the class.
They initially tried slow but powerful in their first release of Evan, but he ended up being very weak in the DPS sort of way. Also, increasing power but decreasing speed is bad for Maplestory since you'll hit the damage cap very quickly and won't be able to knockback/kill monsters to train efficiently. Fast and weak hits are definitely the future.
Here's an Aran buff I want to see: a beginner skill unlocked at El Nath from an easy lvl 55 quest. It's a toggle skill that gives you the ability to make all floors slippery and make snowshoes not work as intended. This way, it's like El nath at LHC/zak/ludi/jesters/etc, regardless of if you got normal shoes or 27 atk 18% str VSS. Toggle on/off for those tough times you need precise movement (*coughzakjqcough*).
With the Combat Step buff in the second revamp (unless it was nerfed in the third revamp (being this revamp) but I need confirmation on that), this makes Aran have significantly more mobility.
