Really? Are you certain it works that way? I didn't think something would unequip spontaneously even if it would be unequippable once unequipped.

They will stay in the equip panel, but they will be red and you won't have the equip appear on your character, and you get no bonus from it.

why the pineapple have the equips giving so much of your secondary stat? it's impossible to loophole them into supporting their own stat requirements, so you are left with a pineappleton more secondary stat than you really need.
pineappleing nexon can be so stupid sometimes.

What? It's completely possible, unless they changed something. Yeah, it takes a lot of bonus stats, but if you start with the shoes and weapon, and then go to the others it's entirely possible.

A FAST PA or a incredibly slow ass PA that will give me the 6 set effect.

Solution: Use The Fast PA for Training alone and the Slow one for bossing, And make sure you have either a Battlemage and/or Bucanneer with you during the run :f2:

I don't mind the secondary stat. IM a Palladin so every point of dex gives me what? 3-5 points of Wdef? + Some Damage range?

Even though you must end up with 200 or more secondary stat, around 128 of that comes from the set itself, and 'only' 72 must come from base plus accessories plus scrolling or potential stats. So it isn't all bad.

Look on the bright side: Secondary stat actually matters (slightly) to every classes' attack now, and if you can wear these, I'd think you'd be able to (very easily) loophole your way into wearing whatever higher level equips Nexon Korea releases years from now.

up to this point there hasnt really been much reason to loophole yourself like this, especially so dramatically. i have no ss's but its entirely possible and there is no reason anyone should have a base higher than ~80 if they have zero bonuses from equips outside of this set. the real trick will be getting hold of equips with enough secondary stats to allow you to equip the first 3 or 4 items until they can support themselves.

The ridiculous amount of secondary stats added isn't completely useless. As a mage, I'd get 113 luk from the set +15 all, totalling to 128 luk I don't need. That's still worth 32 int, plus some defense and some avoid.

In time i believe it will be easy. Rings are getting more common, so it's not long until one with a lot of stats and potential. Along with pendants and belts, i think getting the secondary stat will be pretty easy.

Let's say you have 1000 (for easier mathz) base of your primary statl.
Now let's say you reset 166 into your secondary stat just to equip these. That would put you at 834 STR or 83.4% of your original STR (you lost 16.6%).
We'll pretend that Dex is totally moot (which it isn't) which means that, due to the purely multiplicative nature of the damage formula, you lost 16.6% of your damage.

Now let's say you somehow have 200 w.att from all your equipment. We'll ignore the extra attack that the equips give and focus only on the set bonus, so we'll pretend that these have the same stats as your old stuff.

Now to throw these into the actual damage formula. Since you're a Dark Knight, I'll use the spear/polearm multiplier.
Pure STR
1.49 * 4 * 1000 * 200 / 100 = 11920

140 Equipper
1.49 * 4 * 834 * 245 / 100 = 12178

Overall, you're getting a 2.165% boost.
Again, this is making a couple of assumptions in favor of the dexless route.
It's assuming you have no equipment that gives Dex and that you have 200 W.Att.

Actually, we should.

I've said before that it should be 3 * primary + 2 * secondary.
Of course, this would mean that they need to remove the second secondary stats from Thieves, but 'tis all good otherwise.

Speaking of wild (but totally doable) ideas, they should divvy up the warrior weapons better.
- Make Spearmen (get this) spear-only.
- Make Fighters use 2H Weapons (including Blunt Weapons) and bump up the multiplier
- Make Pages use 1H weapons (including Axes)

They look the same because they are the same.
Seems Nexon flubbed when they released the 130 equipment since they originally used all the sprites of the 140 equipment for their 130 counterparts.

Some of the items were changed, but not all (noteably, the weapons). Should be interesting to see if the rest change.
