What's the best skill to go with after 160? At 160, I will have max Dragon Strike, max Rapid Fists, max Demolition, 11 Wind Booster, 19 Super Transform, 1 Energy Orb, 1 Time Leap and 1 Snatch. What's the best path out of the three?
Snatch
Energy Orb
Maple Hero
I can afford any of them, but which would make training faster?
Why 19 super trans?
Personally i would enjoy it if you went orb, just because it's a neat skill to use and it'd help bossing and training. You wouldn't really be able to use it until 169/170 because it's not as good until level 27+, whereas with snatch you could use it probably when it hits 4-5 targets which is much sooner.
Doesn't that bishop you usually boss with (I FOR THE LIFE OF ME CANNOT REMEMBER HIS NAME BUT HIS FORUM ID IS TKWIZARD) have maple warrior anyway?
^ 19 S. Transform because I planned on maxing it, and at 160, I would be 1 SP short of maxing it. lol
I was thinking Orb, like when I talked to you on BM's IM thingy, but I just want to see what the best option is.
Also, Dennis (TKWizard) doesn't play anymore, so I haven't had a bishop or anyone to train with since level 146 or so. :( I only have to choice to train solo, so I don't get any Maple Hero.
Few questions.
1) What was the "skill update" they did with shockwave that it was usefull once and not usefull at all now? I dont know if i should max Mp recovery/energy drain or shockwave. because i heard there is some use to shockwave hunting monsters in transformation.
2) I noticed some usefull perks with the energy charge skill like stance kind of skill, and power-guard like skill. so i was wondering, whats the chance for the stance activating and does the charge increase faster with each level you raise in energy charge?
20 Super Transform rulz, you can use it 2ce as often as Transform. I would probably go for Snatch, because then I can Drag a whole mob to me and stun them to kill with DS. Maybe in oblivion you can charge up faster than I could at skeles though, so I guess then it'll be a close call. Then again I've been thinking of actually going for MW sometime soon too.. Probably first snatch, then MW, then orb.
You should ask for his account, get another computer, and use him as a MW/HS mule. :3
While you do charge up faster at O4, i think you'll take a ton more damage with snatch. Their hit boxes are screwed up. If you're standing right in front of one and it gets KBed, you take touch damage. Since snatch does enough to KB them...that'd probably result in him taking way more damage then he should. (Assuming JMS has the glitched frames too)
...
Skills currently:
Max dragon strike.
Max barrage.
11 Speed infusion.
What should i get now? :/
ST and demo? o_O
Id say MW, since we get a good damage boost from our STR.
This might be a sort of hard question to answer, but how many Glaze Capsules are recommended through out 3rd/4th job? I have 1 set right now, and I think I plan on training Windraiders->Newts->Skeles->Oblivion 2. I'm guessing 1, since all they do is add your damage to the what it says in the description, but I just want to know if any Corsairs/Outlaws have a preference.
Yes... cause that will help....
Anyways... i recentally learned that Bullseye works with Octopus summons(making its damage increase but not so that it only hits the tagged monster) my question... is there other things this works with? i tried it with air strike and my findings are inconclusive... cause i aparentally cant do math to save my life whilst taking out the atk from bullets n stuff...
1. Shockwave was already bad before since you can only use it 25% of the time even with max Transform, and the fact you need 50 skill points just to use one skill that's not usable all the time. Once Energy Blast became as spammable as an unboostered Flash Fist, the uselessness of Shockwave flew right out the window. Even before then, Energy Blast was better since you can use it anytime.
2. The stance effect % is Energy Charge level + 10, and Energy Charge charges faster the more points you put into it. In other words, Energy Charge has a snowball effect, where it just keeps getting better and better the more points you put into it.
