No, but there are idiots that understand if you are given a 60 second limit and a skill takes 1.000000000001 to cast, you will be cut off before the 60th skill cast.
Correct?

This has to do with... what?

Fine, I'll use 1.03 as the example instead of 1.000000000001.
You got the point, don't push it. The # following the decimal didn't even matter, as long as it is above 1 by even a fraction the 60th skill will not be cast.
If you were saying it was .99, good job. 60/.99 is indeed above or equal to 60 depending on how you look at it.
There's 1 second on the timer and you do 60m/sec on a boss that has 40mil hp left, but your skill takes 1.1 second to cast. Will you even be able to cast the skill? Will the boss die?Quote:

Yes yes. Ignore every other point provided in this thread and show your idiocy by linking to a banana article. That's the way! You do realise your bullshit 60 second rule shows almost nothing right? Maple tends to have latency, what a pineappleing surprise right.
I didn't intend for it to show anything. It was directed at Joe, not you.
The 60 second rule would have everything to do with what he was implying.
The calculations per minute and per second WOULD be different depending on where you were and the circumstances.Quote:

Again, you need to hit 60 times in a minute, you cast at a 1001 MS, you will only hit 59 times. It is not 59.x, it is 59.
Sure maple has latency, all maples fault right? Just like shadowers can transition flawlessly between skills, I'm sure.
Edit: I'm going to sleep. No doubt you'll continue.
I'll see you tomorrow morning in my literature class, no doubt.
And oh, good job. Attack the banana comment and ignore the rest. That's the way to go.
Okay, here are the calculations for one second for Phantoms.
Spoiler
It takes a Phantom 8 seconds to fully buff. Do you even understand what DPS is? Do you just think that you take any random second and that's what the damage is? If you randomly select the exact second where a buff is occurring, Phantoms are suddenly pomegranate tier pieces of garbage because their DPS is 0 and that DPM is a better form of measurement because you take it over a minute? I guess if a boss dies in under a minute, your DPM is pomegranate as well. But that's not how it pineappleing works. DPM is DPS * 60 just like a second is minute/60. If you don't understand how the basic mathematical relevance of time works, then get the pineapple out of this thread. If we go by your idiotic assumptions, then the majority of cars would never break any speed limit because the average drive is under an hour. But I guess a moron wouldn't be able to recognise the parallels of this comparison.
Of course I can. You're asking for a floor. Very cutesy. Let's take your retarded realism.
Phantom Blow:
810ms normal 6, 607.5ms faster 2, rounded up to 630ms.
60000/630ms = 95.238095238095238095238095238095. Oops. Can't have .238 of a second. Floored to 95.
(95m*6)+ ((95*.7)*6) = 899m in the minute.
Rapid Fire Phantom:
120ms normal 6 and faster 2.
60000/120ms = 500
500m a minute + 500m a minute = 1b a minute.
Edge Carnival:
1020ms normal 6. 780ms faster 2.
60000/780ms = 76.923076923076923076923076923077. Floored to 76.
76 casts * 8 = 608m + 76*.7 * 8 = 1033.6b a minute.
Well how about that.
So brave.
Thank you captain obvious. I never stated it wasn't that, because it is.
I just KNEW the buff argument would come up some point in this thread.
I'm not even going to respond to that.
I presented an alternate, unorthodox scenario which you couldn't seem to comprehend.
It is not a one way mirror, there are multiple outcomes possible.
I gave you a restriction on time and you equate it to the real world? Really? REALLY?
Tell me, if you are given a 60 minute limit and you're 2/5 of the way through bubbling a scantron bubble in (Let's say #60/60 on a test for the sake of this scenario) and it take's a 1/2 of a bubble to count, will it magically round up?
NO?
60/1.00000001 =/= 60. Look at it whatever way you want to.
I'll look at this in the morning.Quote:

Just a few things:
A) Edge carnival only hits 15 times (7 shadow partner hits), so (8 + 7 * .7) / .78 = 16.54 hits/s, + 3 hits/s for fatal venom for a total of 19.54m damage per second when hitting the cap.
B) Edge Carnival + Meso Explosion: Edge Carnival hits 15 times, ME explodes 15 coins, Pickpocket rate is 80%, so .8 MEs per Edge Carnival. (8 + 7*.7 + .8*15) / (.78 + .8*.75) = 18.04 hits/s, + 3 hits/s for fatal venom for a total of 21.04m damage per second when hitting the cap.
C) Phantom Blow: (6 + 6 * .7) / .63 + 3 = 19.19 hits/s = 19.19m damage/s when hitting the cap
D) Phantom Rapid Fire: with 100% crit, 2 / .12 = 16.66 hits/s = 16.66m damage/s when hitting the cap (Ultimate Drive gets the same number)
E) Mercedes Ishtar Ring: (2 + 2 * .7) / .12 = 28.33 hits/s = 28.33m damage/s when hitting the cap.
So there's your theoretical maximums. Obviously in reality you would have to do things like buff and maybe use potions which would considerably reduce your output. Also getting Fatal Venom to cap is not really feasible considering that total/boss damage doesn't work on it.
How does it feel to summarize this thread 20 hours late into the discussion?
Feels better than arguing with people who don't understand what dps means, mang.

Joe, I just tested Dark Sight + 5 kp on my Shadower and it gives a total of 4x Damage Bonus, neither 5x or 6.25x as previously thought.
I will upload numbers and pictures in a moment.
