Re: What are you playing?
Finally sat down and started working on the last part of Tales of Graces F.
Thoughts on the game: Great combat. Horrendous story, though the future arc at least has a little bit of existensial depth. Not the greatest game, but still one of the better PS3 JRPG:s.
Next up in my backlog:
Tales of Xillia
Batman: Arkham Origins
Castlevania: Lords of Shadow 2 (Hype is through the roof)

I wanted to like Graces, but I just can't get over the weird combat (going up and down versus left and right). And then the story wasn't engaging :/
I liked Vesperia and Xillia a lot more.
Re: What are you playing?
Thief gold was free on amazon so I picked that up. It's fun but holy crap is it hard and slow. There was one point where there was a hallway made of tile meaning even if I was sneaking at the slowest speed possible I could still be heard. It was a nightmare! But fun, first level took me 45 minutes to beat...
Edit: The second stage is ridiculous... the entire level is made of a material that no matter how slow you walk you still make a sound so everyone detects you constantly. Unless I'm doing something wrong the second level is the complete opposite to the first, from very sneaky and expansive to basically a terrible 1 on 1 combat simulator in tight corridors.
Re: What are you playing?
I need to get more games on steam that are perfect for being deployed. So far Civ5 and FF7 seem like they'll work for a while, but I could use more.
Re: What are you playing?
I'm playing GTA V on Xbox 360 while also restarting Pokemon Silver from scratch.

You ever try going through the F2P section on steam? They got some good and decent games like warframe, loadout, and some of the other games nexon has published like dragons nest, dugneon fighter online, ect.
Also if you are patient you can get some free games from steamgifts.com. Assuming money is an object to you that is.

more the fact my laptop is old as pomegranate by today's standards, I worry about even being able to play the games I get.
Re: What are you playing?
Practicing Melee with my high school friend on weekends and with other Melee players on Tuesdays and Thursdays to get prepared to enter a monthly. Been staying away from Maple because I'm lacking motivation to log in and do things.
Re: What are you playing?
anyone on steam feel like helping me with the portal 2 achievements? I've been reluctant to try to get them with randoms, because for whatever reason portal 2 keeps crashing and I cannot figure out why for the life of me.
Re: What are you playing?
Dug out of my grave to say that I'm currently playing Bravely Default and Pokemon Y! I'm having fun with both of them, and that's an understatement~ <3
Re: What are you playing?
I've been playing Bravely Default and actually got to the end of it. I find it it was pretty great overall since I like old school RPG themes and it being a tribute to the old FF games... This might just be me, but besides the graphics, art styles, and battle mechanics, nothing else really stood out. I guess the best music track I like the most would be the world map music. Still working on rebuilding the village and experimenting damage caps with Bravely Second.
I still like FF6 the most out of them all, especially its OST. And speaking of FF6, Square Enix recently released a port/remake version of the game for the Android and iOS phones. I was thinking of getting it when I first read the news of it... But after seeing the trailers, reviews, and screenshots... It didn't look all that appealing to me, so I'd still prefer the original SNES version over the remake despite the bugs/glitches.
Re: What are you playing?
Found my 8 year old PSP.
For some odd reason it works perfect.
Playing GTA Vice City right now.

all that they changed graphics wise was carecter sprites all the monsters still looks like they use to and I acctualy like how some the the new carecter sprites look.
Though the lack of a static d-pad is annoying
Re: What are you playing?
My brain has been so fried on Pokemon X lately so I'm taking a small break so I can actually move on to other games.
Currently working again on Lightning Returns finally. Made a good bit of progress over the weekend and will do more tonight. I'll probably take a break from it again afterwards since I have Dark Souls II coming tomorrow and I'm pretty excited for it.
PS: It may be kind of a Civilization Lite but I'm really enjoying playing Civilization Revolutions with my friends almost every night. We've been stomping with economic victories the past couple nights we've played. Real nice free game this month.
Re: What are you playing?
Infamous: Beat the game on normal difficulty as "Hero". Playing through the game again on Hard Mode as "Infamous" just to see the alternate story dialogue. Attempting to do Trophy cleanup before starting on Infamous 2, but pineapple Blast Shards (348/350 :f4:)

They cleaned up everything in general - the monsters, the world map, the tiles, and the music. The changes aren't drastic, but enough to warrant a purchase, especially if you missed out on the additional content from the gba game.
That movement is REALLY stupid and needs to be changed, but I've dealt with it for the entirety of the game.
Re: What are you playing?
Playing so many things at the moment...
- Animal Crossing: New Leaf
- Trickster Online (Private server)
- Elsword (Sparingly)
- Resident Evil 4 (Just started)
- No More Heroes (Also just started)
Things that deserve more time than they're getting:
- Pokemon Y (Complete pokedex when?)
- Legend of Zelda: A Link Between Worlds (Haven't played in nearly a month.)
RE4 and No More Heroes are fresh buys and a little different from the games I usually play. I'm enjoying the hell out of them both, minus some seriously retarded deaths.
Re: What are you playing?
Infamous: Finally beat "Infamous" Hard Mode tonight and plat'd the game as well.
Infamous 2: Started up the game tonight, but only did the introductory level and stopped for the night. Doing the "Hero" side again.
Legend of Zelda: A Link Between Worlds: Only finished up the Shadow Link challenges and defeated "Gramps".
Re: What are you playing?
Just bought Phantom Breaker: Battle Grounds (the Vita version).
I got faked out by Stage 00. The bosses starting from Stage 01 are stupidly tough. White Mikoto? Chains heavily-damaging combos like nobody's business. Cocoa? Bum rushes and spams claw swipes for like 15 or so hits before chaining into an air combo. Both of them can easily take out over a third of your max health with just one long chain of attacks. You have no way of escaping a combo once you're hit, but they can easily break out of yours and retaliate.
Re: What are you playing?
infamous 2: Beat the game tonight as "Hero" on Normal Mode. Will attempt to do Trophy cleanup, but not sure if I will do a Hard Mode run before Second Son comes out.
