At midnight EST, Wikipedia (English) will go black for 24 hours. Wales is using his internet encyclopedia site to bring attention to PIPA and SOPA and rally more opposition.
Listen to Wales, kids, and do your homework now. An entire day without the source of just about everything seems unfathomable, but if it brings more attention to these unlawful bills, were behind it 100 percent.
The White House announced their opposition to the bills last week. Obama said that he is skeptical about the bills. Something tells me SOPA and PIPA are going to have a difficult time passing in the U.S.

Wikipedia block out is REALLY poorly made. Apparently you can bypass it just turning off java-script.
Also, why cant I see the censored google logo when I go to google.com

It makes sense its only for English version, this way most other countries won't be affected by it. Though I often check english wikipedia for more in-depth articles.

About the google.com, the same happens to me, I guess its IP based, and only american IP can view the censored logo.
