Yea SaptaZapta got a point there.. If they say "do task X and get reward Y" and then fail to deliver, of course people should not just accept it. A person thinking it is perfectly okey to be handled like that is just being a tool.

Well server upgrade is finished and something was patched. The game patched some files around 6.8mb it seems. Probably like nothing...

At least thats what my netstat shows.

No MaplePoints for me this week. Though I am not sure I stayed for one hour everyday this time... so oh well.

MTS lockdown seems to have been lifted
Shielding Wards are still in Cash Shop. Anybody got 9k NX to waste on checking whether the bug that makes them destroy items has been fixed?
Also, has anyone received maple points for the second week of attendance?

Pretty sure all they did was moving the servers. This wasn't a server check and they didn't do anything to the game.

Yeah, there was some hope, what with the Dev Blog and the Koreans coming and all, that they'd update software as well. But I guess all they did was replace the hardware. Oh well.

If the dev blog is to be believed, it's the first time they've done a server upgrade, at all.
I seem to recall a "hardware upgrade" maintenance a while back, but it may be that that one was just upgrading the existing machines (say, adding memory) whereas this one was actually replacing them entirely.

For several days before the maintenance, you could not move stuff from MTS storage back into your inventory.
It said that "for an unknown reason, the request to MTS failed". I thought it was some sort of anti-duping action (albeit rather stupid, since people could still buy the duped scrolls or equips, giving the dupers their NX. They just couldn't get the items out to use them). However, it might have been unintended, after all, since it's working now and the MTS is still just as full of duped GM scrolls as ever.
