Jirai Wrote:NxProse already said we weren't getting Krakia or Vineland in this patch.

In fact I posted that quote in this topic already <_<

Here's that quote again...
NxProse Wrote:While Crimsonwood Keep always has been my most favorite of the hinted expansions, (I suppose mostly because of the veil of mystery that has slowly been lifted since the TCG came out.) I remain curious if some of the other areas we've heard of might also be packed in to this expansion, such as the Yetinx, Affluent Tower, or Krakia? (A simple "yes" or "No" will suffice for this question, I know you can't give details.)

None of the areas you mentioned are directly expanded in the new update. As far as Maps go. This answer will become clearer once this chapter is completed.

first off, he said none of the areas the asker mentioned were directly expanded. That leaves a lot, including Foxwit's Den, (T-1337 may be like a Terminator, which are from the future.) Vineland, the Dragon Door, or the real Bigger Ben, just to mention a few of Masteria's expansions, never mind Magatia.

Then, its that DIRECTLY expanded thing that nags at me. They could have created a pyramid in the Ariant area, where John Barricade found a Subani Ankh and started his journey to Masteria. (the Yetinx) Or, the Typhon (Krakia). (Affluent Tower I cannot figure out)

The curse is in the details, I guess...

No, that means it will explain abit more for the area's in no way doe he say we will be getting them atall. Also kinda points out vineland and some stuff like that's not a big area but afew maps maybe?

I'm quite sure that when we uses the term directly, its a reference to an area.

An example of some of the indirect references would be the story segments included in the card game bonuses.
Even last Octobers the cyberized turkeys could be seen as an indirect expansion of the Krakian storyline.

Really?
Ignore the other circles, only the black one is important. (I used this for an earlier speculation.) That is where I speculate Vineland will be...

This is a rather large area. I know the Krakian Jungle maps are spread out, but it looks like a similar size. Also, this part of the forest does not have the black mountains to the north, so it could be extended in that direction.

As for the rest, if you don't have Krakia or Foxwit's Den, where would T-1337 go? (NLC Area Boss or NPC? rather pathetic for something worth mentioning in iHints...)

New iTCG Set 4 info - randompeep - 2008-08-10

If that was so, that would leave masteria not much larger than Vic.
There is no way to base any assumption (including mine) on how big a place is just by that map. CWK and Phantom Forest will likely require another map, and that's just west.

edit: hey what the... i thought i saw Maxhudson post after mine.... Isaac please fix, and im sorry for double post.

New iTCG Set 4 info - Erich - 2008-08-10

I still speculate where that lower area will be(green circle)i say amoria

Gearfree Wrote:I can't tell if they did a good job on the Athena Pierce card, so just a minor question who plays the game.
While Athena is known as the Bowman instructor, She is also known as the hardest 3rd job boss(shes a killer of men, bowmen specifically). Does she keep that title?

Anyone able to actually play Athena Pierce should have several Bowman cards under their character, especially if the deck is pure Bowman.

By the time you're able to actually use the attack, you'd have at least three Bowman cards under your character, which is 60 damage. If I'm reading the effect correctly, you do an attack for every Bowman card under your character, which can be used to decimate your opponent's monsters. At level 80, you'd be doing 160 damage with her.

It's a very good card.

Until they add the area, I don't believe that the NPC(he has quests) will be in game. Most likely they'll only be partially mentioned in the storyline. I figure that November is the earliest month you could expect something of decent size for Krakia.

erich336 Wrote:I still speculate where that lower area will be(green circle)i say Amoria

A couple of things, primarily due to its size, I think its been debunked as Amoria.

And thanks Steveio for the details on its effectiveness.

I see Masteria looking more like this:

Since the sign for Vineland is smack dab in the middle of NLC, I think it'd be more likely to occupy the space next to the map of Mesogears.

I think the theme park will either be on that island over there or to the left of NLC.

New iTCG Set 4 info - Cyanne - 2008-08-10

It would kind of make sense for Krakia and Vineland to be next to each other though. Krakia seems more like a mechanical place with lightning-weak things, while vineland seems like there would be a lot of biological, poison-weak things. Is there any evidence that they're related at all?

New iTCG Set 4 info - Anon-RedI - 2008-08-10

I would come to believe that Krakia and Vineland are near each other...but the only proof I have is the Badlands map(witch is where the dragon door is) seems to be close to the city itself so it has to be the only direction open, down. But that just gets blow down by that sign in NLC that says Vineland on it... this is very perplexing...Hurt

New iTCG Set 4 info - randompeep - 2008-08-10

At any rate, if Nexon doesn't release the patch by Tuesday, then Set 4 is released, and the rest of us will have Crimsonwood Keep iHints without the Keep, and the Stirgeman and T-1337 iHints.

They will probably release it on Tuesday. (Btw that happens to be my birthday! Biggrin)

ok, does that Southeastern patch of land look like Vic?

It doesn't to me; the one in the NLC map is green, while NW Vic is desolate (Perion).

New iTCG Set 4 info - randompeep - 2008-08-10

I meant the shape of the land.

We don't know which way that subway is going. It could go under Ossyria, for all we know, and that patch of land is Masteria.

btw on SW someone suggested that the island is Amoria. I don't think so, but does anyone else think that?

Well it possible... but then if it was amoria why nexon didnt put it on masteria world map?

New iTCG Set 4 info - randompeep - 2008-08-10

Because Amoria is too small to be placed on the Masteria map?
really, though, maybe just a small village on that island could have told us everything.
