I disagree on fully structuring it around party play but more areas that require co-op would be awesome. I recall PvP being one of the only MS related things that my sister could do for hours because she liked it so much and indeed, I too liked to kill time there when I got bored.

What I'd actually like as an addition is co-op bosses where you absolutely need to employ teamwork to win, which would give some hope to people who don't fund much and also be more fun.

Hey, if I could put them into dex I would, it would be way better than like 300-400 HP. Im not trying to make it sound the world will end, but it wouldnt be fair. And if they dont increase it then xenon will just laugh at everyone with 600 all stat.

The Knights of Cygnus are getting their maximum level increased to 250 as well.

I suddenly had "And they nerfed boss EXP why?" screaming in my head when I saw that.

What would you guys think if there was a 25% level boost on all characters created before the uncap so that all current ranks would be kept?

Like if you are lv200 you would be lv250 as soon as you login after the patch
and everyone else gets this boost as well, with low levels affected the least

I think that would make a lot more people like this update.

I think most people would like the update regardless if it didn't make the game an immensely stupid grind from 200 to 250 or introduced nothing new to redeem it. In particular I don't think this would work out as this update was likely created to address the complaint that there's not much for a level 200 character to do and too many people are reaching it.

I think it would be a cop out and silly.

What fangblade and the rest of them did was extremely impressive for their time, at this point nobody can take that away from them, its there for life. In my opinion, make a "old school hardcore first to lvl 200" rankings as well, and leave them there.

I dont want the old school first 200s to be overtaken either, but this is an mmo, and it has been almost 5 years since they have had their time. MMOs move forward, this was expected.

So in that regard, im interested to see what else comes with 250. maybe 250 will actually be hard to get, like 200 was long ago, so we can actually have a new "omgsohardcore" goal.

Wait, what? Isn't that like double the 199-200 exp requirement? Exp TNL generally grows by about 10% per level... they going to make the 200-250 range so much steeper?
Well, I guess that will make 250 as practically-unreachable as 200 was 6 years ago, but... back to AFK

People will be able to level past 200 next week, but there's no fancy stuff yet.
I predict if there is a 5th job advancement that it will come with skills and the mentioned high-leveled content during the 10th anniversary of MapleStory.

I remember reading an interview where a Nexon representative who said Korea has big plans for the 10th anniversary.

WOW. 10 years allready?! this is going to be huge.

Wouldn't it have been better to just let people be able to level up to 250 when they can roll out all of the changes instead of playing this "Oh sorry, you get your shinies later because we're doing this in separate updates for no reason!" BS? I know that them having plans for the 10th anniversary may not mean that updates will only happen then but it's still an unpleasant thought after how all of the previous revamps have been.

For the love of god, please no mastery book system.

We all knew it was coming after Tempest since there was so much left over SP. Still it makes Hyper skills seem out of place but whatever that’s Nexon.

There is virtually no content for a 200 as is, what is there going to be for a 250? They are just brining out an item set for 150 as well. I'll be interested to see what their idea of more high level content is though. Since players ideas and Nexon's rarely seem to match up. That's what is really going to make or break this update. There is such a huge content void at higher levels that needs to be filled. If raising the level cap is what it takes to get their ass in gear and make something that isn't a class or a revamp then I'm all for it.

If the 5th job is not too high a level I'll get some new skills at least so I'll look forward to that. I've no desire to reach 200 nvm 250.

I'm rather pessimistic though. I'm sure if Nexon Korea releases even higher leveled content that it will be impossible to beat those without NX now too(instead of Empress). Will watch with baited breath, however.

reaching level 200 was always a really far off goal for me, so this doesn't really effect me that much. i think it's awesome for people that have level 200's that do nothing anymore though.

they really need to add more content though. I'm level 147 and already i'm starting to run out of places to train, I have no idea how people reached level 200, reaching 250 will be a nightmare.
