How was your day?

Physics presentation to ~30 other students on my labwork:

The head of university labs: "Mr **** (Sorry you don't get to know my last name :f3:), that was an excellent presentation. You'll get a 1st for this part of your lab module"

First time ever doing a physics presentation, and somehow going to get me a better grade than my lab reports that I've done plenty of? With meh results? :f2:

Suck on that stupid secondary school plantainheads who pulled me out of more important lessons to go to speech training classes with a bunch of mentally retarded kids. I can do them fine, I just hated you people.

Just one thing.

Owned the math test. I'm pretty sure I'm getting a 100% in that pomegranate.

Long story short, a friend texted me around 6 PM asking if I wanted to go to a restaurant and eat. I asked when, and he said whenever. So I told him 8 PM would be best. Anyways, I had to go stop by somewhere else before then, and we met up. He also took 'the girl of his dreams' with him ; the girl that he has a crush on, and sorta dating. Anyways, all three of us are eating, but they both got into an argument, and looked pretty irritated and depressive about things. So I said:

"Uh, let's go outside for a sec. Smoke break time for me."

So I had a conversation with him as to why those two were moody, and it took him a while to explain it to me. Long story short, I told him:

"She's a woman. If you're ever going to be able to be together with her, realize that women are like f`ucking Xena, just shut up, and deal with it. You can say what you want in your head, but if you argue, you're not getting anywhere."

After I was done smoking, we proceeded back inside the restaurant. After all three of us were done eating, he dropped her off and her apartment. So it was only me and him left, we decided to go watch "Thor" in theaters. It was an okay movie, wasn't as great as I had hoped. I think I spent around 9 bucks on the ticket. Meh. After the movie ended, I dropped my buddy off to where his car was packed, and said "Text or call me if you need anything, just don't make her mad." I proceeded to light my cigarette and drove off as soon as I said that.

Fun night. I started realizing that I've been smoking more as of recent too. Oh well.

Got to the movie theater to see Fast 5, and there was a huge line when we got there. Crap.

Just beat all the advanced levels of Portal 1! and only watched a walkthrough for 1 of them (damn turrets).

Plans were ruined because my friend got her period, I'm not upset at her I'm just bored as hell now.

Meh, I'll just lay around and mess with my tumblr and do some Stat practice later.

One down. Two to go.

Gonna work on math all day.

Woke up at 6am on a Saturday for dragonboat. My boat did 4 races, 3/4 in the pouring rain, which I would have been fine with if it weren't SO DAMN COLD. Now I feel really wet, salty, and exhausted. Maybe a nice hot shower would fix this. On the other hand, I think we placed 5th overall out of 12 (14?) teams, which isn't bad!

Key club meeting and friend's birthday dinner tonight. Ughughguhguhggh saoooo tired.

Just got home from watching Thor. Was pretty decent.

Gonna go out to dinner in an hour for mothers day/ sisters birthday we're going to miss.

pineappleing. exhausted. Worked 5.5 hours at new job yesterday (now I'm also a Swarovski retail peach, moving up in the world) and another 8 today, which involved me closing the store by myself today, only three days in. I've worked retail for a year now and you'd think I would be fine with everything, but oh noes. The specifics of every store are so different, and I'm doing my best to learn everything immediately, but blergh can it be overwhelming every now and then. Well, it's ultimately overwhelming because of everything else going on in life; ultimately not the most difficult job in the world by any stretch.

But I'm working another 8 hour shift tomorrow that I have to leave for in 10 hours. I also need to finish a paper tonight, which will probably involve a good 4 hours of work. Then tomorrow night after work I need to call my parents for Mother's Day, then watch Desperate Housewives, then finish two massive journalism pieces by midnight.

Then I have one final Monday, two on Wednesday, and one on Thursday, all of which I haven't started studying for and have tons to do for each.

Last final ends Thursday night at 9:25 pm local time, and I need to be at work before noon local time Friday. Also working next Saturday, which happens to be my sister's 18th birthday.

Massive post tl;dr: Super jealous of my roommate + tons of other friends whose semesters are leisurely ending, allowing them to fabulously enter summer 2011. I get to kill myself for another week. And another two while I work crazy hours.

Cannot wait for May 27. Four day break to go home and visit relatives + sister for her H.S. graduation, then starting full time, 38-40 hrs a week at Swarovski, which will be a lot less crazy than my life these next three weeks.

So, I just came back from my neighbor's little... boxing event?

I don't remember a fight more boring and pathetic than this one. I actually feel sorry for everyone who bought this thing (including my poor neighbor). Utter rip off.

He should've bought more ritz crackers with those 50$ he spent. lol

Now that that's over with, I'm about to write something on my mom's card. This will be an all nighter.

BTW, Happy mother's day to all the mothers out there.

Pretty horrible day. I went to the mall to relax but things kept reminding me of a very unpleasant memory.

Driving all day. Hot and sticky. Stupid A/C not cold enough.
Can't wait to go home.

So this is basically a more chill version of Flowsion's old thread? Cool.

Found some purposeful things to do after loafing around for the majority of my free time today. Typical. Also, band got Unanimous Superior at festival, which is surprising. Still can't play flute for my life and wish she would stop complaining about it all the time because I practice which is more than she can say for herself. Can't wait to rid my life of her, only 3 more weeks.

My day? Meh, Woke up at noon, started to study for my final final. Started feeling a little woozy so I called my mother since I thought she accidentally sold one of my paintings in a garage sale. Thankfully that was not the case. Ate some ramen noodles for lunch-dinner around 4 o' clock. Packed up the majority of my room. Its about 11:45 now and I'm about done. I've also been watching the Fresh Prince haha. Oh, and posting in SP for the first time in awhile. I've realized that I love packing, because it's like a jigsaw puzzle to me. I can't wait to go home, it'll be less lonely, and my lovely country of Nicaragua is so beautiful, I miss it so much. /run-on sentence.

I did nothing but nap today, first time I've been home for almost 2 months.

UGHHHHHHHHhhhhhhhhhhhh. Checked my financial aid for some reason and they cut $8,000 from my proposed scholarship. Calling the University during the week to figure out why the pineapple they would do this and if I can get it back. They promised me that it wouldn't change this drastically when tax returns were sent in. FML
