Playing Catherine demo now, and I'm loving it. Probably gonna have the real thing later this evening if all goes well.
What do you guys think of it so far?

Well, I've seen 3/8 endings and while the first and best was completely satisfying, the other two were pretty zany. It's a great game with a really intense story, though. I don't want to say much more about it because of serious spoilers.
Also, really excited because I just found out Breath of Fire IV is coming to the PSN on August 16th. Must get! Love BoF4. (I said BoFIII earlier in this topic while comparing it to Sands of Destruction, but I meant IV. Though 3 is sort of the same)
BoF 3 is best BoF
Kinda jealous of you guys playing Catherine. Frys.com had the Deluxe edition $20 off so I ordered it from there, but now I'm on backorder and it probably won't be back in stock, so... Couldn't play it till I get home in another week anyway, so I guess I'll just get the regular edition somewhere else.
In any case, been playing Recettear for some reason, as well as Link's Awakening on 3DS. Will probably go and finish up Radiant Historia within the next few days.
Just finished Catherine and got the normal lovers ending, and I d'awwed so much. Gonna go for true lovers later cause holy pomegranate those last few stages...
I found Croc for $5 today!!!! Playing the pomegranate out of it right now. Best nostalgia ever. Worst controls ever.
Also newly playing: Patapon 3, Disgaea 1 and 2 PSP
Bought fallout new vegas, i'm not too impressed yet but i didnt play for long. Hoping that it's as good as i've been told :)
Beat Catherine with the True Lovers ending, planning on replaying and getting the other endings pretty soon. Also starting up my 2nd playthrough of Tales of Graces F. I've been up and about lately so the game I've been playing most is Pangya PSP, still trying to get all the costumes and accesories for every character
I feel too mainstream
Im playing:
Xbox 360: Halo 1,2,3, Reach. Rock band 2, Guitar Hero Metallica and GH 5.
On the DSi: Trying to obtain all pokemons in Pokemon Black.
Just realized it's been a while since I've updated this.

Been playing Monster Hunter Tri.
Rathalos Plate reward rates are the bane of my existance.
Trying to get all legendaries in Pokemon white
Maplestory only for silent crusade videos
Vindictus cause its slightly fun
Transformice is my kind of MMO. I've been hooked so much on it I haven't played Maplestory for ages! :shine:
Got my hands on Cladun x2. My impressions so far.
Let me get the dissapointment out of the way first: No multiplayer dungeon running in this one. Only can invite players to your tavern ala animal crossing. Lame. Also, a minor factor... the music, I loved the soundtrack of the first, but 5 hours in I've only liked 1/6 of the new bgms. normally I don't really care *that* much... but i really adored the music style of the first and was looking forward to more of that. I might find a few more winners though.
GOOD STUFF: In true NIS fashion, the first game had a lot of annoying elements, but they addressed them well in the sequel. Kinda like how Item world was a pain in Disgaea but was improved dramatically in 2 (among other things).
Jumping is no longer animation locked, you can now short-hop and control direction a bit. max jump distance is also dramatically improved making jumping over fires/traps much less of a horrible pain. Also, the severely limiting SP/skill system got a huge overhaul: instead of needing to use artifacts to level skills, the skills now level up as your character does. The main artifacts now reduce the level by a certain % (to make it more spammable yet weaker) or increase it for the opposite effect. Monsters now drop Sp orbs when killed, so you no longer feel crippled when you decide to use anything higher than a level 1 skill and run out of SP too quick. Also there's a SP debt artifact that lets you borrow a sub unit's SP till you reach a limit and go into a forced cooldown. All in all skills are much more user friendly <3
There's 3 new weapons now too, spear, bow and dagger. Spear is absolutely amazing when it comes to attack speed. It can hit things slightly diagonal to your position and a space away on the first hit. but not directly in front of you until the second hit. Be careful with mobs that like to get in your face. Bows are just what you'd expect: rapid tap shots or charge a half second and shoot for real damage. They're fun and boost speed too (no shield use obviously)
The make your own character feature got expanded a great deal, including the ability to make 3 step animations for various parts for walking, running and idling, even death pose. (think wings, waving hair and the like) We can finally make our own weapons/armor now to overlay existing gear. It's really amazing now. The funniest addition is the ability to use MML to make your own 8-bit dungeon tracks to grind to. I kinda wanna give it a shot, looks capable, i might have to practice and study a bit though.
Ok done gushing about this game now.
I've been playing Path of Exile. Needless to say, if you like Diablo, it will be right up your alley.
I've picked up Legend of Heroes: Trails In The Sky. It seems fun so far but it gets kinda dragging after a while... I'm not sure on how I feel about a 60+ hours game right now.
Has anyone played Knights In The Nightmare? I got so confused that I couldn't even finish the Tutorial, and I'm not so dumb at games >_>
Megaman 2 through 6. Never played 'em before, so I thought I should. Especially since one of my friends kept bothering me about 'em.
Also, I can defeat Air Man. It wasn't really even that hard. No need to sing about it.
okami. Good dog, best friend
I decided to pick up GTAIV and give it a second chance, things are going well but I cannot get over that crappy physics! While I am driving I hit one small bump and I corkscrew all over the damn place.
other than that I am enjoying some TF2 and playing Cthulhu Saves the World on PC.
Still playing fallout : new vegas and i have to say that it's actually a pretty awesome game, there are a few minor bugs that i encounter every now and then but else it's awesome.
Also playing a ton of starcraft 2, just practicing atm and trying to decide on a race that i can stick to when i ladder.
And waiting for Minecraft 1.8 x.x
Considering I've been Nexon'd and LoL servers have been weird for the past few days, been playing dem PS3.
I finally got the last 3 RNG trophies and got my Platinum for Disgaea 3. IT ONLY TOOK A GAZILLION RESETS at floor 91 and 3 full item clears to do it.
Also I'm trying to play through God of War I for the THIRD TIME! Last two times I didn't get far and would stop playing the game for 6+ months, so I'd just start a new file. Gotta do something while Riot fixes their pomegranate and I await the release of Disgaea 4.
So far in 2011 I've beat...

Tomorrow is finally disgaea 4 day. 15 hours to go. Plus however long it takes me to get to the store. HNNNNNGGHHHH so excited.
>Logs on Playstation network after getting a call from gamestop
>Sees a friend playing Disgaea 4
>Proceed to flip out and curse my money constraints
3DS is biggest priority now. Must....not...stray from path....
Tried out Resistance 3 beta as a sniper, pineappleing hated it. Got to level 14 and decided pineapple this game. Playing Red Dead Redemption Undead Nightmare now. Wishing I could buy Dead Island :f4:.
Picking up my copy of Disgaea 4 today after classes are over. I can't wait to start playing it! This and Atelier Totori will probably hold me over until Uncharted 3 and Skyward Sword come out!
Got my copy of Disgaea 4. Had to fight for my Fallen Angel Flonne DLC a bit but I got it :D
I don't get my copy for 4 more hours, because I gots stuff to do with the family :f4:
Dead Island. Fun stuff. Been playing it with my old friends from high school.
Recently got my hands on BlazBlue Portable and P3P. Both great, though BlazBlue almost made me chunk my PSP through a window.
Been playing Dead Island. Game play is awesome, and it's most fun to play with a full group of people you know.
48 HOURS UNTIL I HAVE MY HANDS ON WHITE KNIGHT CHRONICLES
THE TIME IS COMING
I DID IT
I HAVE IT

MY GLEE CANNOT BE CONTAINED BY AN EDITED POST. IT REQUIRES A POST ALL ITS OWN
WHITE KNIGHT CHRONICLES II FINAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA AAAAAAALLY
only 10 minutes of install to go... haha
Started up a file on Dragon Quest VIII on the 'ol PS2. Had it for quite a while on a recommendation from a friend but never actually gave it a shot until now. I don't really play JRPGs that much so this is a very rare occasion.
Pretty entertaining so far. Battles are nicely animated and the monsters seem like they have personalities. Definitely a plus.
Edit: Gotta resist the urge to engage visible monsters on the field...
Playing Dragon Age 2.
Just played Deus Ex Human Revolution for the ps3, literally one of the best games I've played in a while. So dam good. I highly recommend this game to anyone who enjoys gaming.
Also just watched this: http://eyeborgproject.com/2011/08/eyeborg-activated/ pretty dam cool.
Starfox 64 3D. Enough said.
I tried to play alien swarm, but apparently my graphics card isn't good enough or the right type to play it :/
Still playing through Disgaea 4 since I'm still eagerly awaiting DLC (Asagi and NISA-Chan <3). Just started Gears of War 3's campaign, and loving every moment of it.
Bought Monster Hunter Freedom Unite today after much poking from Rob. Installing right now... interested in whether I'll like it or not.
Resident Evil 4 HD on my 360. I can still destroy the hell out of this game no matter what controller I use.
Still my favorite ever. <3
Bastion; finishing up NG+ and going for the last achieves
Kirby Mass Attack; Picked it up yesterday, real fun game and a bit challenging early on due to controlling 10 kirby at once. Gold Stars require no damage whatsoever.
Disgaea 4; Just been powerleveling my crew and slowly trying to unlock LoC. Anxiously awaiting for the Adell DLC.
Monster Hunter Tri.
Fought Alatreon for the first time today and got my ass handed to me, but I learned something valuable;
Alatreon trots like a show pony.
I've been playing a lot of Shining Force 2 and FE7 Elihard, after which I'll probably do Hector hard mode. Finished FF4 and FE Sacred Stones before this.
Next week I should get Devil Survivor Overclocked and Disgaea 4, and I'm finally getting to replaying Nocturne and Persona 4 for all the new game+ goodies.
Picked up Atelier Totori a couple days ago, started playing, and I'm really impressed how much GUST has improved this game over Atelier Rorona.
I got Modnation Racers, Bayonetta and Eternal Sonata with my PS3,
Im playing Eternal Sonata first. Pretty good so far.
I'm still working on WKC2. pomegranate is HARD. It's almost been a month since I got it. For a single game to keep me busy for that long, is pretty astounding.
Defeating Brimflamme was the biggest sigh of relief I've had all week, and it's been a hectic week.
edit: Just beat it. Hope there's more cinema after the credits or else... what.
edit: ...lol.
editttt: oh good, an epilogue.
Started God Hand. It's... hard. Very hard. But fun. Will probably start Trails in the Sky soon too.
Oh yeah, does anyone know anything about Grim Grimoire? Thinking about buying it off the PSN but not sure...
Buy Odin Sphere by the way. It's an amazing game. Sucks that they didn't add trophies or upgrade the games but it's still worth the $10.
Picked up the following: Devil Survivor Overclocked, Disgaea 4, and Klonoa 2. Time to shut myself off from society and complete all this goodness.
Age Of Empires II: The Conquerors!
Microsoft made an awesome game! Simple yet engaging RTS'ing if you don't like Warcraft III, DOTA or Starcraft!
Getting some action on The Binding of Isaac, already killed mom once and heart once. pomegranate gets harder with every time you beat it, it's awesome.
Are you kidding me? Of course not! I've been playing AoE II on and off since it got first released like... 10 years ago? Before that I had already played the original AoE.
My gaming life revolved around AoE quite a bit, since I would do LAN parties with my friends and stuff just to play Counter Strike and AoE II for hours and hours...
i've been playing maple on and off. afking in the FM to gain guild reps...
started League of legends, its pretty fun except the part where you farm farm farm for half the time before u start aggroing other champs...
playing monster hunter freedom unite on psp with 3 of my friends, taking down gold rathian and silver rathalos, trying to make the full set atm just need more jewels
dungeon defenders coming out october 17th cant wait to get my hands on that game, i already have a level 70 squire with a dps build ready to go iphone to pc swap.
*breathes
Pokemon Yellow on hell mode (Deleted Thundershock for Quick Attack, and then Quick Attack for Slam, all by accident. I must be a closet masochist or something.)

Final Fantasy XIII-2 (January 2012)
Picked up DQMJ2 today. Waaaaay better than the first one.
You replaying the entire original .hack series, Sarah? As much of a die-hard fanboy as I am, I cannot stand playing through them again after playing G.U.
(Going to assume no based on your blog post and such and such.)
ITT: It is now November 20th and I am about to play the new Zelda.
Spoiler
Blowing through my games I haven't 100% achieved in as of yet. Currently working on FF13 again and I have about 9 more to get though with most of those mission related. I should be done just in time for Arkham City on Tuesday.
I already know that, and Zero was released after AoE, but, you can't compare RTSs just because they're RTSs. You can't compare AoE with a C&C game, it's like comparing MapleStory with WoW. It just doesn't make sense. Or Starcraft to Civilization.
Still, I only used to play Tiberian Sun and Red Alert...
Excited to pick up my pre-order of Ratchet and Clank: All-4-One tomorrow! Beat DQMJ2 pretty quickly but synth'ing all of the monsters is a real pain. Infinitely better than its predecessor, however.
This.
Spoiler
Freaking addictive.
Got Ratchet All-4-One and played with my cousin for a few hours. So much fun!
how's the single player on that game? since i never got Crack in Time (horrible, i know) i'm looking to get both it and All-4-One at christmas.
Just as good as any other Ratchet game but uh, weapon upgrades are bought with bolts instead of leveling up now, though you have to use them a lot to unlock the upgrades.
Edit: Nope, you don't have to use them ever. Upgrade unlocks are progress based. Kind of sad, I loved leveling weapons.
Got Arkham City and am loving it so far. Sadly, I probably won't be able to play it after tonight till Friday...
Currently playing Dead Island, Orcs Must Die, Might and Magic - Clash of Heroes on PC and CoD: Black Ops on PS3.
Spent most of my free time in October playing some games that I thought might fit in with a Halloween theme. Played through every game in the Legacy of Kain series all the way through for the first time, then MediEvil & MediEvil II. Two days ago I replayed Zombies ate my Neighbors all in one sitting and now I'm replaying Luigi's Mansion to tie things up for the month.
Still playing WKCII. Finally got Festival of Blood tonight and have been playing it--it's pretty good, but seems like it will be short.
Finally got around to finishing God of War I. Beat it yesterday afternoon and spent 2.5 hours just to beat "Challenge of the Gods". Why the hell is #8 harder than #10, when #10 is just an RNG fest!?
Regardless, I start on the "speedrun" tomorrow for more trophies. I didn't realize how easy it was to Plat GoW1.
Started playing Lunia Z with my girlfriend. Pretty fun game. :)
Easy enough to play with just me & her and the learning curve was very short.
It's run by Nexon in Korea so I'm not sure how different it is here.
Welp. Finally finished DQ 8. Pretty good game and I loved the characters.
Now the agonizing wait for the 20th.
Hurr I'm SP and I don't know how to post sometimes.
Playing Bastion, Borderlands, Minecraft, Terraria, Blocks that matter, Starcraft 2 and a bit of duke nukem when i'm bored.
So far in 2011 I've beat...

Assassin's Creed Revelations (November 15th)
Rayman Origins (November 15th)
Zelda (November 20th)
Final Fantasy XIII-2 (January 2012)
Waiting on AC:R next week and Zelda after that. I really wanted to get Rayman Origins this month but I feel like I need to be strong and avoid going outside of my entertainment budget. It's especially hard now that I've played the incredible demo that went live on the PSN today. IT'S SO FREAKING GOOD.
Here is my current gamer status.
Currently playing:
Xenoblade Chronicles
Disgaea 4
Batman: Arkham City
Valkyria Chronicles
Cross Edge
Just finished playing:
InFamous
Arc the Lad: Twilight Of the Spirits (replay)
Eagerly awaiting:

Franchises that should lay down and die in its current form:
Final Fantasy
Currently playing cave story (computer) and replaying OoT to put me back in the zelda mood for skyward sword =D
Since I've been able to play games on the computer again, my consoles have been gathering dust...but no more!
Computer: DFO, Minecraft, Maplestory
Ps3: Disgaea 4 (Chapter 5 kicked me in the nuts, and now I'm afraid of it) UMvC3 when my pre-order comes in
Wii: Loz: Wind Waker , Skyward Sword when it gets here
3DS: Devil Survivor Overclocked (Dem 8th days, mang.)
PSP: Blazblue CS II, Persona 3, Patapon 1-3
PS2: Klonoa 2, SMT:Nocturne, Persona 4
Whee. Time for some gaman.
Thanksgiving weekend and winter break are coming up fast so I have more time to get to games that have been on my backlog for a while. Currently playing:
PS3: Disgaea 4, Atelier Totori, Tales of Graces F (Second Playthrough), Uncharted 3
360: Replaying Bayonetta, Gears of War 3
3DS: Four Swords, Dead or Alive Dimensions
Wii: Replaying Twilight Princess, Eagerly awaiting the release of Skyward Sword next Sunday
PSP: Fate/Extra, Pangya: Fantasy Golf
My dad got a 360 with Kinect :o
It's actually a LOT more fun than I really expected, which is pretty awesome. I only got to play the silly Kinect Adventures though...
Currently playing To The Moon. It's beyond excellent and well worth the slightly expensive price.
Also started Trails in the Sky, finally, though I'm not sure how far I'll get before Skyward Sword and Corpse Party, both of which I'll be getting on the 22nd.
Just beat Uncharted 2 and Uncharted 3 on hard. Now going to beat #3 again on crushing, pomegranate is intense. Also playing MW3, which is pretty fun, I guess.
Hey there guys! I'm new here, so first post.
Basically I'm going to start playing maple again a little I think. I'm also in the middle of digimon world dusk. I picked up lord of arcana and god eater burst for my psp and I'm having a little difficulty deciding which of the two to play also.
I'm kinda pumped because I haven't played maple since there were only four core jobs. So much nostalgia. I installed the game before I left for work and have kind of been looking forward to it all night.
