I get focused a lot when I play Zilean, so I'm a bit iffy on grabbing Oracles unless I have some key spots already warded. It's just a drain when I'm having trouble affording my key items because I'm grabbing all the wards/oracles.

You could remind them it's a team game. While they may not buy wards in response, it's sure to bring up some funny chat.

Personal opinion:
Zilean's a kind of bad support right now and is better off played AP Carry. I'd rather my support bot have a heal or shield to help the AD carry in poke exchanges. I love taking Zil top since he can mess with the usual top suspects really well, and because he works so well with farm (dem key items).

Was browsing skins, noticed that:

1. The "Featured Item" Talon skin on the PvP.NET homepage is wrong
2. Bird of Prey Anivia, White Mage Veigar, and Assassin Master Yi all have new splash art in the store, but not in the skin section of their profiles.

I always try to buy wards, doesn't matter what I'm playing as. For mid get 2 for each side of the river. For bot and top get 1 for each bush near river. I get one for dragon too usually if I pass by.

I usually don't take oracles because I may die. I'll take a pink for twitch in lane. Or Eve maybe. Definitely for baron.

When I play Kat I take wards as a get away plan lol

Like i read somewhere before, the current meta its here to safely babysit the Carry to True Carry Status (AKA Feed him as pineapple), pineapple the carry and you pineapple the enemy game most of the time.

Even level 30s don't ward dragon or their own bush. Also...Aynia Rolleyes.

So, I was AFK making some food, and I come back to see that I was in a game. Luckily I came back at the loading screen. Champion auto-selected for me? Poppy. Runes and masteries I had to use were my previous ones... so AP Tank masteries from the Maokai game about an hour before hand. Was sent bot with our victor. He had pushed up to the enemy turret just about, so I went support Poppy for laning(aka hide in bush wait for somebody to be out of position rush in with e, q them, then back in the bush. Luckily for me their Amumu and Veiger liked to stand rignt next to walls ;3 Ended up going 7/2/3. Was a good game.

Jax the Grandmaster at Arms - Remastered (Remake)

In the latest patch we’re finalizing our Dodge stat remakes, which, among others, means some exciting new changes for your favorite Grandmaster at Arms. In addition to some new gameplay, we’ve also given Jax a few new animations and spell effects to accompany his new mechanics.

To kick things off, let’s start with a preview of some of the new mechanics that we’re working with in Jax’s new kit. Jax’s core ability Counter Strike had previously relied on Dodging to trigger its effect. While the mechanics of the ability were strong, its reliance on a random event made it difficult to rely on at best, particularly if the enemy team favored Ability Power champions for damage.

Dodge is an important aspect of Jax’s identity and with the removal of passive dodge we have the opportunity to make significant changes to the way Counter Strike functions. We wanted to keep the feel of dodge around as a Jax-only mechanic without the negatives of the old passive dodge stat. In the coming patch, when you activate your Counter Strike, the Grandmaster at Arms will begin dodging all incoming attacks for the duration of the ability. When the duration expires, he will damage all enemies in an area around him and stun them for a short period of time. This will allow Jax players to avoid incoming attacks and disrupt opponents using their own skill and ability instead of relying on random chance.

For more information on the mechanics of the full Jax’s remake, stay tuned for a Jax Champion Spotlight in the coming days!

In addition to shaking up Jax’s kit with some new mechanics to eliminate his reliance on a random Dodge chance, we also decided that this was an opportune time to fine-tune a few of Jax’s visuals. This included a brand new animation and spell effect for Counter Strike, along with a new animation to accompany his joke emote.

So there you have it! Polish up your lamppost, because the Grandmaster at Arms has never looked better. Be sure to check out the Jax Champion Spotlight for a full preview of the upcoming changes to Jax, as well as a primer on how to utilize his new mechanics!

Lololol his new Counter Strike looks like it might make Jax a really good 1v1 solo top. Dodges all incoming attacks once you pop it, then stun surrounding enemies once its up? Too gud. And using it defensively (ex: popping it and running away from ganks while avoiding attacks during its duration) sounds too trololol. Actually, the new Counter Strike sounds too trololololol.

The question of "to what extent can Jax dodge attacks?" is answered here:

But again, I may be speaking this a bit too prematurely, so I'll sit back and wait until the remake'd Jax spotlight comes out.

Do note: This announcement only gives a sneak peek at Jax's remake. While they covered one core aspect of Jax's remake - dodge, especially the RNG part - they still haven't told us about what they're going to do with Relentless Assault's active (FYI, Jax's ult's active gives him a flat amount of MR plus additional MR based on how much dodge he has for a certain time duration). I'm guessing they will explain how they're going to change his ult's active in his remake spotlight.
