[Neo Tokyo] For the 13x+ crowd - FrozNlite - 2008-12-03 Kirov Wrote:Only Bishops and F/P got shafted really badly (And Paladins, lol whats new?). I/L is ok, a few are weak to ice and lightning, still not great though. When you are a Mage/Paladin you get used to being shafted by resistances. There seems to be a trend to make new things holy immune these days. Perhaps they are trying to 'balance' the game. Being immune to poison makes sense though since they are machines. Yea. Shafted REALLLLLLLLLY badly. But hey, as you said, we get used to it I suppose. That being said, unless they raise the damage cap in gMS, these mobs aren't really worth training on as Magicians can't train efficiently on them then, and most non-Magician classes that party with Magicians for gawdleh expay won't be getting anything efficient here either. In short, Neo Tokyo looks like another reason to level a Drk, BM, Marskman, Night Lord, or Buccaneer. [Neo Tokyo] For the 13x+ crowd - byakugan - 2008-12-03 For what i've read in this forum, this looks like an end-game area for JMS. Even when they get time temple (if they dont have it already, idk) this area is the hardest so far. That android girl reminds me so much of Rey Ayanami and Yuki Nagato. [Neo Tokyo] For the 13x+ crowd - FelixTM - 2008-12-03 ClawofBeta Wrote:*COUGH COUGH QUEST IN AVAILABLE COUGH COUGH* Depends how they have the quest set up. If you can buy an item to complete it, I'd do it that way. If it doesn't even appear in the quest log, I'd definitely buy the item. But if buying and doing the quest are two completely separate things, I'd have to do the quest. Besides, when I first saw the list of items, I thought it was harder than it is. I was thinking the 300 item was from that Samurai boss. That's not it, is it? The 300 item is from a that tall ninja with purple flames or whatever. Correct me if I'm wrong. [Neo Tokyo] For the 13x+ crowd - TKWizard - 2008-12-03 Yes, but the Mini Toad is summoned by Tonosama's Frog form... Yes, the scrolls is from the Ninja with Purple flames. [Neo Tokyo] For the 13x+ crowd - alwzn4vr - 2008-12-03 Fiel Wrote:No, it gets worse. Come on Fiel, you should know that Marksmen get blind not hamstring. On topic, the 1H sword is close enough in attack to make up for the lunchbox that many of us never had the chance to get. It also looks like some significant mesos sinks introduced here. [Neo Tokyo] For the 13x+ crowd - Skylit - 2008-12-03 TKWizard Wrote:Official requirements to get into the first Neo Tokyo map. ahhh is it going to be in cs for good or no? I don't know if i should buy now and wait.. jumping to 13$ from 7.5$ is alot... zzz [Neo Tokyo] For the 13x+ crowd - ZachAttack - 2008-12-03 I can translate some of those names (the katakana ones at least). ![]() Romanized: A FU TAA ROH DOH Not sure what that is in english ![]() Romanized: OH BAH ROH DOH Not sure what that is in english : What's "Roh Doh"? ![]() Romanized: Pu ro toh ta i pu roh doh Something - Type - "Roh doh" (what the heck is roh doh?) ![]() Romanized: Ma ve rikku English: Maverick. All those ones are "Maverick", diff types. ![]() Romanized: I ru va ta English: Elevator maybe? Not sure Probably just a name.![]() Romanized: Dii da English: I would imagine this was a name, like dida or something o_o ![]() Romanized: Be ru gah moh toh English: No idea ![]() Romanized: Dyu na su English: ? ![]() Romanized: Nii be run gu English: Maybe like "Nebula" or something? I have no idea, these are weird katakana names :o ![]() Romanized: Ku ry sy ta ru English: pretty straightforward, "Crystal". LOL I didn't really translate any of them. So for those of you who may be better than me, the way Katakana works is that it's supposed to sound like an english word (Hamburger in katakana is "Ha mu ba ga", get the jist?) so if you can use the romanized version to maybe put together a word, do it. Character: ![]() Romanized: E re men teh ru pi su English: Elemental piece ![]() Romanized: A ma ra n ti a English: Elementia? ![]() Romanized: Su hi a gu rey vu English: Sophia's Grave? ![]() Romanized: Hu re a gu gu rey vu English: Furea Grave? Prolly some NPC or quest related name. ![]() Romanized: Jya Ji Men to English: Judgement. What no knuckle? Bawww. [Neo Tokyo] For the 13x+ crowd - Shaddap - 2008-12-03 Zach, not a very good job translating there. LOL ro-do in most games (when written in katakana) tends to translate as Lord for the most part. So the tank thing might translate to Afterlord. Flying thing is O-ba-ro-do, can easily translate into Overlord. The thing with the face, Prototype Lord. Maverick is obvious. Iruvata and Dida are most definitely just names. Boss looking thing might be Belgamoto or something along the lines of that. The other stuff I'm too lazy to attempt to decipher your romanization, I've never seen someone type things like "roh doh" or ku ry sy ta ru" when translating kana. Where'd you find the original names, I'll translate it to the best of my knowledge. [Neo Tokyo] For the 13x+ crowd - Fiel - 2008-12-03 Maybe they mean "Robo" like "Robot" Also, the original names are in the first post. Click on the spoilers. [Neo Tokyo] For the 13x+ crowd - Stereo - 2008-12-03 Google says Nibelung and Bergamot for the big robot bosses. Dunno if that's right but it sounds ok. [Neo Tokyo] For the 13x+ crowd - TKWizard - 2008-12-03 Nibelung is correct since its a used word in other myths and fantasies. [Neo Tokyo] For the 13x+ crowd - aslemn - 2008-12-03 @Above,Fixed: ![]() After Lord ![]() Over Lord ![]() Prototype Lord ![]() Marverick ![]() Iruva-ta(no translation for her name). ![]() Dida ![]() Belgamoth ![]() Junas ![]() Nibelung ![]() Crystal Character: ![]() Element Piece ![]() Amarantia ![]() Sophia Glave ![]() Furea Glave ![]() Judgement. Huge ass image inside.
[Neo Tokyo] For the 13x+ crowd - TKWizard - 2008-12-03 Amarantia = The Hat The Woman with the purple robes = Asia or Aasia. [Neo Tokyo] For the 13x+ crowd - aslemn - 2008-12-03 the woman name was supposed to be Acacia, since this chapter of the story of Jippang is named Acacia Chronicles. [Neo Tokyo] For the 13x+ crowd - ZachAttack - 2008-12-03 Ahhh lord. I was thinking of it more like "Robo" like Fiel, that's why I was confused. Good translating Anslemn o_o I failed. [Neo Tokyo] For the 13x+ crowd - aslemn - 2008-12-03 well,it could only be Robo if it was O-ba-ro-bo but since its ro-do,it can only be Lord or Load, but load would sound nonsense. [Neo Tokyo] For the 13x+ crowd - Kirov - 2008-12-03 I have been wondering is Junas male or female? I couldnt really tell with the promo art but the sprite does seem more masculine. [Neo Tokyo] For the 13x+ crowd - aslemn - 2008-12-03 its a man(i think) |
