DB at low funding are very meh indeed, at high funding however, asura is just some sort of "pineappleY'ALL" skill and they deal great damage to boot.

DB aren't bad like current CS, but they certainly aren't OP. Not with classes like Kaiser and Xenon in GMS and Paladin, Zero, and WA in KMS. Asura is amazing burst damage, but they're not even in the top half of classes when it's on cooldown. Plus they're probably are the class with the most dependance on funding despite not being the strongest.

Compared to most other classes DB:s certainly could be considered to have the potential to be pretty OP, and if anyone tries to argue that Asura aint OP compared to most other Hyper actives, the they need some coffee.

We already have the demonic dog mount; Infernal Mutt is its name, and you get it if you have three demon pets (the original versions).

don't just look at the damage charts allright? DB may not be top percentage like my rattata, but their gimmick was always the second scrollable weapon, that can grant a good 150+ attack (hence why i said they get much better with funding than other classes, xenon is another example)
and you said it yourself, xenon is gonna get nerfed, he's the flavor of the month OP class, won't last him long, as for kaiser, i'm sure we're all waiting for that nerf, not just DB's.

But yeah. If Asura was just 500% it would probably be average. But the fact that Asura ignores % defense on its own is just a screw you to most everything. After bosses phys resist if you can still hit like 25m+ on a DB you can kill most anything, outside of CRA and possibly CPB. Maybe Vellum. Since he's underground so long you might only need Asura to kill it and in 20 min you have a possible 13 times to use it :|
Seriously I was at like...37k unbuffed before I started scrolling my stuff.
6 set empress, Maple pyrope katara b/c it was at 49 att clean or something and got to unique in one cube. It's at like 72 att or something and has 6 scrolls left. got 2 or 3 on my dagger as well... at about 43k or 44k clean and 55k buffed. If I was working on his stuff now instead of my DA I'd probably have finished them yesterday and be at 80k or more buffed. And then just work on % luk since I only have like 33%.

As a Dual Blade owner, I sorta dislike that Daggers get the same range as Spears.
I mean, it's cool we can hit a boss and all, but seems like a lazy way to balance things. I just wanna avoid having Dual Blades with screen-wide attacks, that would butcher their style.

Well they are trying to make all bosses doable by all classes hence the mobility upgrades and such. But this? you don't have to be that far away if you don't want to be. And it's still "close range".
