I don't remember who it was or the job title it was, new CEO I think, when that guy got promoted it there's been dramatic changes with Nexon, here's hoping it continues and keeps going in an upward path. I also had an almost year old ticket answered and closed, responded to the other 3 so going to see what happens with that.

Yeah, they refunded a couple hundred to my PayPal so, in a sense, I'm just returning the money to them.
As a plus though, they're asking for less than they actually refunded.

I would be severely disappointed if it does turn out like this.
But Nexon has gotten smarter and revved up their work, they would probably need to do a background check before compensating (assuming they kept transactions of hacked accounts years ago).

I submitted a new ticket last night regarding my 2 separate hacking incidents and got an answer today. They are offering me 75,000 maple points as compensation. Based on what I lost, that is more then fair. Unfortunately, the equipment that wasn't stolen is crap, so there isn't a whole lot I can use these maple points on. Well, at least I can get a permanent hyper teleport rock.

Now the purpose of this thread, Have you noticed any changes with Nexon? Do you think this new attitude will improve the game overall?
It is a lucky thing, to say the least, that you received such a personalized response. My boyfriend was just hacked about a month ago and logged a ticket and after 3 weeks received the same ole automated response. Hopefully this will be a new trend for nexon. If they continue to consistently provide personalized responses and service like they did for you, then good things are coming for nexon america and maplestory.
