Regardless Nexon should give all archers potential'able (if it's not a word it should be) arrows because having arrows at all at this point is pretty useless.
I think an archer that uses lightning or some sort of magic would be pretty sweet. Int archer pls?

Personally, I would like to see an exclusive hero in the Beginner branch. It could be fun just to have a generic player class out there. It doesn't need to be highly skilled. It would just need some basics like Mastery (could be done like the old Spearman method where you had to choose a mastery for a weapon type.) I haven;t though to deep into it, but I am sure it could be done well.
EDIT: A thought I had would be that the Beginner could get the Decent Skills as part of their normal skill tree. Since everyone and their brother already has these skills on all their characters, I see it as no big deal to make a class based on them.

They better give thieves' stars with potential as well then lmao. Then people will complain that Pirate bullets need potential as well.

Well unless the thief/pirate hero has potential on stars and bullets, then I don't see it as necessary. I just wish Nexon would pick a standard across the board and follow it. More money for them anyways.

I was thinking that they may be referring to "hero" as a general term for a "good guy" and that they would release some arbitrary class; not necessarily a Legendary Hero. I'm not going to expect too much, however I do believe they may actually be able to pull this off without making an incredibly broken class with B83-class nuclear bombs where its skillbooks should be. It's still pretty interesting to see what they actually attempt to do with this concept or whether or not they jump the shark and it ends as a ploy to garner more players.

Stars/Arrows/Bullets potential is sort of stupid though. Thieves and Pirates can recharge them, if a Bowman uses up all his potential arrows he has to buy more.
I'd rather they change Arrows to be rechargable like Stars and Bullets (or change stars and bullets to match arrows, doesn't matter) and give Assassins, Gunslingers and Bowmen a potentialble Star Pouch/Magazine/Quiver to hold their ammunition. This way none of the classes are missing out on the massive power boost that comes from having 2 weapons except for Cannon Shooters and Buccaneers. However they are both Pirates and Nexon hates them, so.
Never bothered to make a Mech or Evan, do they have potentialble armor for their machine/dragon?

I guess didn't make it clear, but that was what I meant lol. It wouldn't make sense at all to cube arrows that would essentially expire. I meant having an arrow like Mercedes does (or a quiver) that works with SA.

That still wouldn't be true unless they decided to also give shields weapon potential.

Nexon America loves aliens...so my guess is it will be some kind of alien that is somehow connected to the Black Mage storyline.
An alien space pirate that uses a laser pistol and a force knuckle that levels like the other force equips.

Someone on Basil actually had a decent idea to solve/alleviate the problem. This is the general gist of it.
Have an item (a "rock" or whatever) that can be equipped in a shield slot when using a two-handed weapon as long as the shield spot does not have an equivalent already equipped (e.g., Merc arrows). The rock comes with no slots and hidden potential and can be bought from a generic NPC. There are three versions, level 11, 31, and 71. You can only equip the rock if the weapon you're using has the same or higher level than the rock. The rock can be cubed and traded. I can't recall what type of potential the rock would have (i.e. weapon, hat, etc)
Same thing with overalls, except a "button" or whatever and it would go in the slot for bottoms.
IMO it's not a bad idea, but that just means that there's no hope in hell of Nexon ever implementing something similar.

Kinda like Ragnarok Online's Super Novice maybe? Give them some of the basic skills from each job adv. and see what players do from there?
