Kinda boring actually, but not bad :3
I played some random battles with my friend online in smash U.
No point in doing online with just about anyone ever again in smash. The lag was pineappleing awful.
Really disappointed.
Well today is a terrible day my uncle passed away, and believe its the same way my father died.
I hate how tech support lines just assume you're technologically handicapped and talk to you like you're some grandma who didnt turn on the switch. I did the troubleshooting myself, I know whats up, so just send your technician down to replace my residential gateway... is that so hard ?! Jesus, SingTel wasnt the only one, even Lenovo's tech support was like that when a colleague's computer crashed the other week... Frustrating. As. Hell.
Thanksgiving: Had lunch with my mom, sister, and grandma at Gyu-Kaku, where they had an all you can eat for $25, which was an awesome deal!
Black Friday work: Thanksgiving wasn't bad, it was super slow but they ended up giving me a few extra hours to help work out all the break times and all that. Today was a bit more busy, but still not as busy as it has been. I had one customer come up to my register, cutting in line in front of maybe 10 people and demanded that I do her return because she had a brain tumor and did not feel like standing in line, and that she misread the price tag and didn't realize the price was more when she bought it... Even if she did have a brain tumor, it's pretty messed up to use it as an excuse.
Black Friday shopping: Really only wanted one thing; a new bigger TV. My friend was going to try and get the 50 inch at Best Buy, but I wasn't holding my breath on him getting it. My mom went to the brand new Target that opened a month ago and was the 3rd person in line and was able to get two TVs and everything else she wanted. Turns out though, the TV was smaller than I wanted, so my sister and I went back around 10 and they still had a lot of their TVs, so it all worked out :D
Pretty much done with the semester, save for class on Monday and an online exam.
My best friend is flying to see me in February (cuz that's when my reading break is), so I'm stoked for that.
My new pc runs so smoothly. I love that it boots up in 5-6 seconds *u*
Also started playing FFXIV. Not quite sure how I feel about it yet. I just wanted to dye my chocobo white and it seems like a buttload of work to do so :| The community in that game is a total 180 to most of the Maple community. It's bizzare, but def not a bad thing.
Went out to dinner to a local Thai place and that was pretty nice and then saw Mockingjay with Stephen.
Natalie Dormer and her cute, asymmetrical face makes me melt :glitter:
Chill
Spent the night (and morning) in the ER waiting room. Grandma's heartbeat dropped below 20 (normal is ~60). She's doing better. Ambulance paramedics said it was very good we called when we did; it was down to a matter of minutes.
It's looking like it was a medication problem; she'll be in the hospital for a few days at the least.
My father and cousin and I got back home at 7 am, my aunt stayed with my grandma in the hospital.
Scary night.
I have a new desktop now.
/guilty because my dad bought it for me as a birthday present.
edit: I also have to get used to windows 8.1 now.
Just tons of school really, could be better. Could be worse.
Trying to think about what was the most interesting part about my day, I guess it was when eating home made focaccia and aioli.

Debating applying to Cambridge. If I went there @Mazz; and I could hang out :glitter:
Do you guys ever get that feeling when you think you find the perfect christmas/holiday gift for someone? Because I felt that today.
I should probably be studying for my double final on Tuesday asdfghjkl;
Ah nice. I know Prof Keating does a lot of really cool work studying the CMB if you're interested in that sort of thing. He seems to be sending ppl to Chile every summer to work on new POLARBEAR upgrades and such. It's produced some very interesting results from what little I've read.
Had my first kiss today. I think I'm pretty terrible at it. Any tips?
