2 Questions

1 - IS this a Q&A with the Nexon Korea developers or MSEA Developers. It sure looks more like the second option.

2 - How is MSEA getting mechanic on January if they dont even have BB? Rolleyes

They must have stole that video from GMS. lolz

1. They are staff from Nexon Korea. Kind of obvious don't you think? Tongue Asiasoft is only a publisher...

2. That's a promotion video showcase by Nexon Korea for GMS.

MSEA didn't receive Big Bang yet because it was unstable when it got released in GMS and JMS. They will ensure it be stable before releasing it in MSEA. Basically, you guys are there to help us test for any bugs and problems. Goggleemoticon

It is. You can't expect a company to outsource its localisation and whatnot, right? They have to pass it to their American branch to translate and handle the localisation instead of letting Asiasoft handle it.

"Qn: Is there a reason why this year's content in MSEA is slower than GMS?

A: GMS players are less content about newer content and we have to rush them out whereas MSEA players are more content about newer stuffs. "

Also Level cap raise and 5th job at the moment is total bs.

Nexon, at this moment is too attached to their top ranking players to allow anyone else to top them

Why in the world would you think that Nexon is too attached to their top ranking players? And what would that have to do with anyone out-leveling them? I'm really not following your logic here.

Raising the level cap = Time sink = More money for Nexon.

The only valid reason I can see them not doing 5th job, is because Nexon essentially dug themselves into a giant pit for releasing too many new classes. They would have to make new skills for all 18+ classes.

AMERICANS ARE GREEDY LOLOLOLOOL

I still think that answer is funny xD

And the reason they use GMS as a test subject is cause MSEA is also in english, so when they translate korean stuff before it reaches GMS, they tend to make it a fobby translation Smile

Fiel Wrote:No, it's because:

- They use Microsoft SQL Server
- They use DirectX
- They use Microsoft Visual C++ for development

None of these are available for MacOS. I never see them porting to Mac. Ever.

Yes, however, there are alternatives to the norm of software in the open source arena that can easily replace or clone the abilities of the fore-mentioned especially Linux and any other BSD/MAC/*NIX based system:

Microsoft SQL Server - MySQL Server
DirectX - Simple Directmedia Layer
Microsoft Visual C++ - GCC

Need a GUI? Use GTK or QT. Need Hardware accelerated video? Use OpenGL. Need audio? ALSA and OSS are still majorly supported. Still have Flash and most supported video codecs for playback on these systems as well.

They could port to MAC, Linux, or any non-Microsoft OS... all they need to do is put some effort into it.

Quote:Question: Why is there such a great price difference for cash items between those in KMS and MSEA? (KMS’s items are cheaper than MSEA’s.)

Answer: This is due to the different spending power for players in these 2 services. However, there are more cash shop benefits in MSEA than KMS to offset this imbalance.

Why didn't anyone say something about this =\ In GMS, the cash item was even cheaper than MSEA after USD/SGD conversion. I'm sure American's purchasing power is way higher than people in Singapore and Malaysia. Out of all version, ThaiMS and SEA has the highest price in CS item.
The developers should just claim a portion of it being eaten up by Asiasoft Tongue

Did you factor in inflation?
