Okay I looked at the first 700 threads in shenanigans trying to find the thread's made about the "lolads" southperry got. I already got the one crazydex posted but I swear someone else posted a longer one where people posted their "lolworthy" ad's they got.
I've gotten this ad on Smogon, it's probably the same one and I screencapped it. Interested, @Eos;?
There is never such a thing as too much cleavage if we're talking about the first four letters of the alphabet here. Boobs are awesome.
OT: Ditto on the Roman Orgy ad...and some other loli-esque ad I've been getting recently (forgot what it states unfortunately)
Dunno why people feel so hard done by about the obscenity rule being more strictly enforced...
The alternative could very well be no more Southperry as money doesn't appear from nowhere...

Also, I do not remember this thread... I wonder what was in it that pissed Google off so much.
First appeal was rejected at the end of the deadline with no indication of what material they still believe we are displaying that is out of compliance with their terms.
Appeal #2 has been submitted, the entire Shenanigans has been purged if it was over a year old.
I'd already applied to other ad networks to replace google in the worst case scenario, most of them have a 96 hour reply window for acceptance so google may reply to appeal #2 before I get any further.
There goes some good ol' Southperry history.
RIP.
Hardly knew ye.
Man, those were the golden days of SP. Sure is weird that you're catching flak for it 4 years later.

Xenu forbid Google be offended by something on the Internet. We should all have our thoughts policed, so that no obscene opinions, imagery or speech ever sees the light of day. All violators must be dealt with swiftly, soundly and with extreme prejudice. No exceptions. No forgiveness. Because fascism.
R.I.P. old Shenanigans. At least I don't have to scour through my posts in that sub-forum anymore. *shifty eyes*
Google. I think that all that needs to be said. Thanks for the laugh tho.
One of the payment plans that runs through Google for websites is explicitly based on click for pay i.e. Nikon cameras has Google run camera adverts and Google charges Nikon only when a user clicks on a Nikon advertisement stub. As an advertiser, you don't want to invest in Google ads and then get a thousand clicks from a torrent site or a porn site because it is likely that these are bots/likely non-paying customers resulting in a net loss for the company to Google. Because it doesn't want to disenchant investors, Google therefore tries to be stringent on website hosts because they want to maintain the image that they are the most reputable ad host middle-man to companies. Google is the middle-man and will do anything to maintain its profit stream from advertisers that shell out the cash. The profit that the site gets is siphoned from these larger transactions and the pay is largely (if not entirely) from the pocket of the companies on Google's adsense payroll.
