I picked this up recently. However, I'm having trouble with it. Why, you ask? And no, not just because the MMZ games are really pineappleing hard. Both of my DSes have non-working L buttons. Meaning I can only dash by double-tapping left or right. And yes, I know I can switch it so L swaps weapons and R dashes, but if I do that I'm stuck with a single weapon at a time. I suppose I could try playing like that, but... yeah. So hard mode time: no shoulder button dashing. WHEEEEE.

On another note, let's see... I've been playing through FF4DS most recently (the bosses are so much harder in this version, I mean goddamn). Other than that, not much. I'm on and off with Half-Life 2 (which I still haven't beaten), Heart Gold (grinding before Morty is very boring)... I'll be replaying AA:I (the Edgeworth game) once my girlfriend is done with it and she gives it back... Yeah, I'm not playing much at the moment now that I think about it.

Oh, and Maple sometimes. <_<

Over the past few weeks I've been picking up the Summer of Arcade games on Xbox Live. I've beaten Castlevania: Harmony of Despair, Monday Night Combat and Lara Croft: The Guardian of Light.

I am seriously getting hooked to this "Fantasy Earth Zero" game I just started yesterday morning.
The whole nation setup and pvp aspects of this game are sweet.
Although it taxes my stock heat sink a bit, it runs at a better temp than other 3d mmo's
I have played, and also the graphics run very smooth for me even in a 50v50 war.

Plowing through the post-game in megaman starforce 3, and beginning the post game in FF XIII

VanQuish demo. It was a nice little bit, but I don't feel it was all that great of a demo considering what they've shown in trailers.

Currently playing Crash Bandicoot 2 on ePSXe

Also trying to master jump_Pagoda on TF2. :I

Uncharted 2 was amazing as expected. Definitely ridiculous on the reality scale as no man could possibly endure as much as Drake, but was still fun. It was great carrying my sniper rifle for 5 chapters in a row.

Rented and 100&#37; completed Metroid Other M. Seemed like they infused too much Xenosaga blood in there and I couldn't shake the feeling that it played like a hardware demo game to me.

Got back into MegaMan Legends 2 since I finally broke down and looked up why I was stuck when I dropped it a while back. Apparently I could/needed to run away from the boss I kept trying to finish off. Shouldn't take too long to wrap this up now.

Beat MegaMan Zero Collection on easy and felt really unfulfilled. Early game 4 prior to the free unlock thing showed me how much I sucked at it and then all the time up til then felt like a wimpy cop out. Not going to go back into it regular right away though.

After that's all said and done, I'll get back on track on tackling Suikoden where I left off on 2, though I might take a break between 3 and 4 for persona 3 or 4.

As far as computer stuff goes, MS just for the event which for the time being I'm done with, then slowly progressing through borderlands on my first playthrough. Deleted TF2 since custom map rounds that never end have taken too many unnoticed nights from me lately and I needed to focus on other things.

For some reason of another, I keep on getting half-way through Seiken Densetsu 3 along the different story paths and don't want to drop it even though I've done all of them before. Also feeling cravings to go back and play chrono trigger again. Honestly, these sprite desires of mine should be focused on some of the stuff I never finished :(.



EDIT: Conviction, I lack thee. Went and finished Half-Life 1 before anything I mentioned up there. Bought all that stuff a while back, though not that long along with the orange box but never got around to it.

I mainly ask that because I saw something rather unique the other day, he had a Q and A session in the colliseum area
for anyone that had anything they were curious about, or just to chat in general. I went and read what people were
saying, only a few really showed up when I was there though. The Q&A reminded me of your old threads, only it was in game
and that was a first for me, most games aren't very interactive between players and moderation/staff team.

Another thing I should note, being a new player in this game since last week, is that the Calamity Clash is awesome. Most of the
people I talked to/read in the forums and in game say it's driving people away from the game if they are new. I have to disagree
because it's giving me a chance to really really participate in more than a few wars a day. Everytime I login (gev archer btw) I see
wars popping up everywhere, and since I'm on the 3king side there is plenty to go around for gevs or our allies. More events like
this in the future would be nice. Mabye a level up event would be cool for players that level beyond 20+. The tutorial could use a good
tweaking also, as alot of things in it were only mildly helpful to teaching me the ropes. The majority of things that were vital to survive I had
to learn the harder ways, in game and without a corp.

Trying to 100&#37; Just Cause 2 at the moment, while switching back and forth to Metroid: Other M. I'm a die-hard Metroid fan, so Other M is just amazing to me. The voice acting is sketchy in some places, but I really like it. I've played and completed every Metroid game to date, and I will continue to do so as long as the franchise exists.

Plants Vs Zombies. Just cleared Adventure mode last night; wanted to ask my friend for tips on beating ZomBoss but he wasn't in so I went ahead with the fight...and killed it. >.>

Yeah, despite all the negative stuff said about the game before it was released I went into it with an open mind and it failed pretty big when it came to both the gameplay and the story.


Anyway, after 100 years I've been playing Parasite Eve lately. Going to follow it up with Parasite Eve 2 of course.

I can understand a little more why people wanted some more extrapolation on this subseries of MegaMan. It looks to tie in somehow in the far distant future to the plot outlined in X and the Zero series, but I can't say for certain since I haven't 100% finished those or played the new ZX ones. On top of that, the characters are memorable enough to want to see in another game (which I suppose is why they have been via the Marvel VS. Capcom stuff). Glad I went ahead and recommended in the other thread despite not finishing it yet.

Half-Life: Blue Shift

I'm starting to understand the story of this series a little more as I play each of these "episodes". Initially, I was about ready to write it off as just another "OMG Zombies" game, but I'll admit that assumption was wrong. On the other hand, having played it so late after it's release, I don't think I'm truly able to appreciate the gem it was. Much like various SNES RPGs get blown off by newcomers since they can't see what made them great for their time. To me, interesting sure, but not really worth replaying.

Now, probably going to work on Opposing Force and Suikoden II. Then get after all the other stuff I had mentioned before. Also willing to throw Fire Emblem: Path of Radiance into the fray, but I'd like to know if there's any benefit; story or otherwise, for not letting characters die in that game. I shouldn't have TOO much difficulty beating the game, but after 6 or so chapters, I lost the main character's best friend and that made me kinda worried.

Sonic unleashed COMPLETE

The game was allright, I felt that the speed stages had no errors other than few minor glitches but the overall game was fine, I was dissapointed by the lack of "exploring" in the wii version, The overrall story was very nice following a light vs darkness plot however I felt that the game had some cartoon comedy moments, wich were just pointless or jsut plain stupid

One word about the final boss in Terra's story in BBS: JESUS. CHRIST. A METEOR SHOWER INDEED.

Got Other M last week. I like the gameplay, but the game feels way too short(not even 20 hours in and I'm over 50% item completion without even really trying).

Partially, yes. I'm at 70.53&#37; at the moment. Here's what I've done so far:

1. 47/50 achievements (missing the experienced/hardcore difficulty achievements and the "complete 49 faction missions" achievement)
2. Gotten every single faction item. Yep, all 300 of them.
3. Assassinated every colonel
4. Discovered every location
5. Destroyed 50/50 wind turbines
6. Destroyed 10/10 offshore rigs
7. Driven every single vehicle the game offers

And tons of other things I can't think of off the top of my head. The worst part about this 100% thing is going to be the 2700 resource items. Just....yeah. It's gonna take me a while to get 100%. >_>

Just finished Parasite Eve. I really enjoyed it overall. The story was really nice, the battles were a little annoying at times but they were okay, I really enjoyed the boss battles, and the music was really good also. (I love Opera music.)

Gonna do EX-Mode most likely a few times and then take on the CB before I move on to Parasite Eve 2.

Megaman Volnutt is such a ladies man. Nearly every female in the game along with his sister and enemy show some form of attraction to him at some point in both games.

I just finished playing Recettear. It's a quirky indie Japanese PC game about running an item shop. You play as a little girl whose father ran off to be a typical nameless RPG hero and left her behind to pay off a huge debt, which you manage with the help of your loan collector fairy. As you'd expect, a large part of the game is buying low and selling high, but you can also pay adventurers to go dungeon crawling in search of rare items. It's a creative concept, but it wouldn't be nearly as fun if 90&#37; of the items you were buying and selling weren't equips and food that the adventurers can actually equip and use. The game itself is pretty short and only takes about 10 hours to beat, but the massive item library and the existence of several gigantic dungeons that aren't even possible to reach by the time you pay off the debt lends themselves to a massive post-game. I've put more than 40 hours of playtime into it already, and I'm still missing the final adventurer, and I haven't even set foot in the last two dungeons. There's also a survival mode, which could consume a lot more time.

My biggest complaint about the game would be that the postgame doesn't really have anything to do with making money anymore. Some of the best items sell for hundreds of thousands of "pix," but there isn't really any point to selling them. The total debt you have to pay off for the main game is less than a million, and I'm at the point where I can just open store for a 2-3 days and pay off the entire debt, payment schedule be damned. There's no additional challenge in the postgame. This wouldn't be nearly as troublesome if the adventuring portion of the game was a little less bland. Sure, you get more skills and fight harder bosses, but the vast majority of dungeon crawling is still wading your way through the same recolored monsters for a couple dozen floors. Also, the (arguably) best character in the game is available in the first couple of days, which is kind of dumb.

Also, the title theme sounds pleasant, but I hated the actual song that played at the end. That voice sucks.

Overall, I'd still say this is an awesome game for anyone who likes non-mainstream and strategy games. At least try playing through the main game.

Well my first account was named Maltheo, but i'm remaking it ATM, i joined LoL after already having a break from DotA so i did alright, but when i got to ranked games i got fed up with, no kidding, having a leaver and a feeder in 15/20 matches, i had less than 1k rating cause of this and just made me wanna make a new account because of my low rating i kept getting into even MORE 'noobs' who'd leave or feed <.<. Chime. Really relaxing game, music is great. Only $5 and part of the proceeds go to charity too.

I encourage anyone who likes a good relaxing puzzle game to get this.

I started playing Tales of Innocence today (fan translation, a really good one). The gameplay is amazing so far, although the camera on the overworld map gives me a headache(and you have to walk a lot). The fact that you can assign anyone any combat style(a bit like FF XIII) makes everything more awesome. Bad thing: You have to loot items, and even though my card supports AR codes I don't have one for auto-looting everything(the game would be more fun that way I think).

EDIT: Completed KH Re:coded a little over a week ago (except for some of the harder post game content because it's a pain to get). Incredible game really.

Anyways, I've started playing Uncharted Waters Online, an MMORPG in the age of discovery. You can choose a nation (England, Spain, Portugal, France, Venice or the Netherlands) and a job (Trade, Adventure or Battle) Friends of me said that that style remembered them of Runescape. (You have access to all skills no matter of class, but most have requirements)
The thing I like about it is that it's more of a real-life MMO than most others that I know.

Other than that I've started Minecraft about a week ago, and I played Spore for a while.

Currently trying to complete Super Mario Galaxy and Galaxy 2. Thinking about playing the first few Final Fantasy games because I have never touched the series.

SMG and SMG2 were pretty good. Stars 120-240 make it all pretty boring though, as there isn't a whole lot of replay value.

I'm personally having fun with Galaxy 2. Galaxy 1 I'll have to agree with, though, since it's basically doing the exact same thing twice. In Galaxy 2, you need to actually search. :b

Been a while since I had an update here, so I'm giving it now.

Played quite a bit of Minecraft before I went and deleted the free client and couldn't get back in. For the best for now really since it was a time hog like no other.

Beat the main game of Borderlands as Brick. Got all the Halloween stuff in TF2. Behind on Maple's new quests (shame on me as a former quest king). so I'll get after that when I can.

Currently playing Suikoden II (gave up on the annoying squirrels, they were what kept me from finishing it for a while), Ace Attourney: Miles Edgeworth (Final case), HL:OP (last part of part 1, then I can delete it {not exactly enjoying it either}), and SMG2 (173 Stars ATM, 1st Green of the Whomp galaxy in the special zone is evil).


Asides from those I am playing, currently craving replays of Radiata Stories, Star Ocean 3, Rogue Galaxy, Okami, Mystical Ninja: Staring Goemon, Banjo-Kazooie (sold T.T), Chrono Trigger, Terranigma, and Zack & Wiki. I just can't seem to get into new stuff anymore, even if that new is only relative to me. I know I need to wrap up Suikoden and Xenosaga along with my recently purchased Persona games, but I just can't seem to start them.

Replaying Dissidia and Rogue Galaxy between bouts of Galaxy and SPM. I beat Galaxy already and have been working on the last 50 stars, though most of the missions that come available post game are obnoxiously gimmicky (specifically those pineappleing flying ones). Oh wll.

Go beat S2, John. DO IT. Also don't call the M*ku's annoying you son of a...

I have not played a video game aside from DFO in over two months. I am considering purchasing Castlevania: Lords of Shadow for the 360. Has anyone played this?

I'm also considering New Vegas, but I've heard that it feels like a FO3 expansion and that it isn't really worth the $60. I want to pray game...

Played it on the PS3. Good controls, beautiful graphics, pomegranatety camera and map, boring as hell story, Captain Picard.

I only played 3 hours of it at my cousins. You constantly get new moves so I imagine to some extent it stays fresh. The animals in it have penises and nipples too.

I wouldn't condemn you for looking up character recruitment, haha. Some of the necessary characters are extremely difficult to find / figure out how to get. When it first came out I was playing it with my dad (well, we had separate save files but we'd tell each other where characters were and kept our stories caught up to one another) and he couldn't ever recruit Stallion while I always got him immediately and we didn't figure out why until years later (I used to run from battles a lot.)

You should probably also pay attention to ensuring you get the best ending on your first playthrough.

And yeah, Blight is a beast. He's also the coolest bad guy of all time. DIE PIG!!!

I've heard this also. Chances are I won't be buying this game any time soon, but it's still an option since New Vegas, Fable III, and Castlevania are all the 360 has gotten in the past couple of months.

I have New Vegas on PS3, and yes, it is buggy and glitchy as hell. Frequent game freezes, NPC's get stuck randomly and quests randomly get broken and are incompleteable. Number of glitches with your companions too, especially with god damn BOONE. A patch was released on PS3, but with a large number of people it only made the problems with freezing 10 times worse. I'd suggest Fable III over new vegas at the moment in all honesty.

I've been having the same predicament. Although in my case it's a combination of that and feeling that I have to also have the virtual console versions of DKC 2 & 3 before I buy the new DKC. I agree in that it is hard to justify $50 on a single game these days since with half of my $60 steam budget, I was able to get 10 fairly good games. I did wind up getting GS3 though, and I've been surprised with an extra $60 cash, so now I can resume my debate on it. (Apparently depression makes you buy things, feel guilty, and buy things for others to justify your extravagant purchases that you SHOULDN'T afford.) Kind of have an odd opinion of the debate between DKC and Micky. I've read the reviews and both in length and quality, DKC is supposed to be better, but one complaint of Micky actually piked my interest more. They said it was akin to all the old 3D platforming titles from the N64 age. Apparently too slow of a pace for people these days with fetch quests and item collection. However, there is a negative that you'd (Sarah) definitely see. It is IMPOSSIBLE to collect everything in a single play-through due to choices you make and there is NO BACKTRACKING. Personally, I may just wait for them to dip down to the $30-$35 range before buying either of them.

About done with Zelda: Spirit Tracks, but the last dungeon is taking too long for me to complete in one setting and is not really set up to save much of the progression. Haven't started my PS2 in about a month, so no progress has been made on that backlog. Same can be more or less said for my Wii. Now that the ring event is over, I'm back to waiting for log-off prizes for maple and that's just about it. TF2 has mostly been idling lately.

However, with my recent purchases and acquisitions, I intend to get to theses among some old ones:
Borderlands: Secret Armory expansion.
Suikoden II
Golden Sun: Dark Dawn
Professor Layton: Unwound Future
Spore
Overlord stuff
Entirety of Sam & Max
and maybe Recettear since I got that with a combo during black Friday and people seem to say positive things about it.

I could go on, but my intention is to get to all of my games (not that I ever do).

Well, since writing that I actually went out and bought DKCR and I can certainly say it's worth something. How much depends on how OCD you are about completion. The main game takes about 15 hours to play through I would say. It's moderately difficult, extremely gorgeous and quite fun. If you're going for all the puzzle pieces and KONG letters you can tack on another 5 - 8 hours easily. Then there's mirror mode which is going through every level mirrored, with one health and no Diddy. Quite challenging, very frustrating at times, but kind of fun. Would've been nice to get some extra things added with it, though. And finally, there is the god forsaken time trials. You can easily drop 30 hours if you intend to get gold on every single one. They are SO HARD. But getting a gold is very, very rewarding (like... to oneself. The game doesn't give you any reward)

So it's about 60 hours but only if you go through everything. I feel like I made the right decision in buying it, but you might not.

As for Epic Mickey... wait for it to drop in price or find it used. I've heard nothing good about it at all.

Also finish Suikoden II ffs.

I got Dragon Quest IX in the mail yesterday, so I'm playing that now.

Well, the past few days I've been playing the old school classic: Secret of Mana. Love it.

But, my predicament comes with what to play next...I can't decide if I should get back into Kingdom Hearts again. I just found my old PS2 (I haven't known where it's been for years), but I'm not wanting to take it up to college with me when I move next week. Taking the PS2 with me would be too much stuff to look after (I'm bringing my Xbox 360 and Wii), especially if I'm just taking it to replay one game. Well, two if you count the second game.

The other problem I run into is: I'd be 1) Forced to play CoM again (I hate hate hated the playstyle of CoM, but I really can't remember what happened in it). 2) I'd be forced to go out and buy a PSP to play BBS...Which I really don't have the money for right now...haha.

I been concurrently playing Pokemon Platinum, Golden Sun: Dark Dawn, and Z.H.P. Unlosing Ranger vs. Darkdeath Evilman. I hope I finish one of them someday.

Both for the good and bad paths. Granted, as it turned out, the ending wasn't really different at all, so I wasted my time and effort dual-beating it within a single rental.

As far as how the game was itself; I'd say the complaints aren't unfounded. Camera movement is sluggish, there are many exploitable hills that you can double jump up, end game side-quests were in fact annoying thanks to the method of transportation in game (it is fun at first, but eventually you get to the point of "we're still doing this?"), and often times it is unclear what you have to do in order to remain good or evil. But the worst thing about it was the combination of "No Backtrack" + "No Manual Saving" + "Auto-save after choices" + "Collection List". It is literally an OCD nightmare. For starters, it takes a minimum of 2 completions to get everything, and the replay was more tedious than anything. Even then, with me exploring everything I could without a guide, I only wound up with 90/105 collectibles.

All this said however, the first playthrough was enjoyable. I'd still recommend it for a rental or borrowing it from a friend if you had the chance. Otherwise, I'd wait to buy it when it is under $24, since it doesn't meet my $50 standard. Having put an equivalent of $9 in gift card value myself though, I won't be buying it later.

Had gotten a blockbuster gift card and with all the negativity around it, I just went with it.

Beat Sam & Max 101-105

They were short, but entertaining, and seeing as $30 got me this and half still remains, I'd say it was worth it.

Jumped into Golden Sun: Dark Dawn and it keeps tempting me. Once I start, I want to go back into it again, even though I know I should save it for when I'm out of the house and work on my backlogged console library. Also, going OCD and making everyone master every weapon that they can equip :f3:.

Chaos really has me fairly certain I'm going to quit MS then, so I have been on it a little to finally connect my lower characters to my main via a family before I go. I might spread out my characters and allow friends to use my characters as a free warp service.

In Minecraft while browsing the mods I could use for a server, I found a couple pre-made maps and lost all motivation on completing my spawn structure for others here to use since there are far, FAR better ones out there. So that isn't gaining my attention for now. EDIT: That, and the recently announced statement that save file format will be changed anyway.

Bought DKC 2 & 3, and have $43 left of holiday money now, so I could get DKCR in the near future, but I'm thinking of leaning more towards saving for a new console. Though, I'll have to some other work in order to afford those too.

In all likelihood, once I finish the series, I'll be reselling it. At least so far, I haven't been overwhelmed to the point that II is worth $150 to me along with years of hype that obsessed fan friend of mine gave. Oddly enough, the reason I've been procrastinating on finishing it is that the castle theme is driving me mad. :f7: I have yet to finish it, so I may change my opinion by the climax, which has happened with me before, but so far, I liked the first one better. Just beat that bastard and I apparently have peace for now.

I forgot how far you are. What's the matter with the castle theme?

Also a huge part of Suikoden fanaticism is the lore. So if you're not actually into that then you might be missing part of the point. Things like re-occuring characters and revisited areas, dialogue changes based on who's in your party, the Old Books, Clive and Elza's sub-plot.

The main story is a classic but the depth of the Suikoden world is where the real charm is.

Well, after I finish the game I'll look up some vids on the Clive story since I gave up on that from the onset since I'm more of an explorer and I didn't like the restrictions I read about as far as that is concerned. As for the castle theme, it's just too festive for the theme of your base. I dunno, but having it repeat so many times just got to me. I can't really explain it. And yes, I guess I can see the lore going on with true runes and the ones that were created below them, but I guess I haven't played enough of the franchise to see how it all plays out. I do like lore quite a bit actually; I was up for quite some time trying to figure out the entire back story of .Hack when I first played it. Albeit a completely different theme, I enjoy it when there is something that makes you think and draw the connections yourself. As I said, too early for a final opinion by quite a bit, but my current impression doesn't account for the game becoming as valuable as it has. Still a good game, just not $150 good.

And ah, the Luca Blight battle. It's so epic. He's such a freaking tank too. I remember thinking that would be the end of the game the first time I played it, especially given how difficult it is.

While the runes are interesting, the lore I'm referring to is more character and world based. Like the wars that you don't get to play through but hear about through various sources in the games. Or the way one game connects to another (in Suikoden V the Island Nations from Suikoden IV come to assist (but IV takes place 150 years before V so obviously the characters you meet are just descendants of those from IV)). Character relations and lore include what the hell happens to Victor and the Star Dragon Sword after II, because some kid ends up with SDS in III. There's a triggered scene where the SDS mutters something about the 'old fool' losing him on a bet. Also in 2 if you bring Flik with you when you first meet Hix and Tengaar they have an extended scene because of their connection from 1. But there's also tons of unsolved mysteries like WHO / WHAT ARE JEANE AND VIKI and what's the real deal with Pesmerga and Yuber.

I could go on for days but I won't.

First off, the obvious. Spoilers please; remember that I'm still in the midst of 2. Second, I wasn't discrediting the series as a whole, only 2 because of it's insane cost.

But yes, some of the brooding characters aren't fully explained which leaves me curious. Much of the time I got tired of the castle theme was waiting for the detective to get more info on the characters after I was fed up waiting for the squirrels.

I can see that the way the games are built, extrapolation of the environment can be done with relative ease, but at this point sequentially the world itself is not too unique as far as RPGs go. Once more, as I get through the entire series, my opinion will likely change. What you've mentioned does sound like something I'd be interested in as back when I played Chrono Cross for the first time I examined it like crazy to spot the connections despite how the game suffered in several fronts. I just get stuck in series like these occasionally and find it near impossible to get back into it. I've been in the middle of the Xenosaga series for years now. Once you lose the memory of those connections and forget the story of the game it becomes really difficult to get back into it. But I digress.

Got the Suikoden 1 hero, but the game crashed shortly after doing so. And yeah, I had looked that up. I generally only check the cheats section for RPGs since more often than not it contains missables and unlocks information.

Not playing 40+ hour games that require commitment at the moment since my dog is guilt tripping me whenever I don't pay attention to her now since she has less than a week left... Although, I've been trying to get a little in here and there at night while she's asleep. Hence me being up til 5:19 AM... sleep would be good now come to think of it.

Sorry. None of those things were plot related, with the exception of the Luca Blight mention.

A little before Christmas, I got Hotel Dusk and was planning to play that over vacation. Then Persona 3 Portable happened. I got P3P for Christmas, and started it up while I was on a particularly long flight to where I was going to over break. I haven't been able to put the game down, and I've already sunk in over 20 hours into it in the past two weeks. I haven't played the original Persona 3, because I didn't own a PS2 until recently; so the entire thing is new to me. It's absolutely addictive, and I've been having a blast with it. Managing how to max social links and maxing Academics, Charm, and Courage can be really addictive. Grinding and climbing up Tartarus hasn't really bored me yet, I enjoy trying to push myself further and further until the boss and eventually getting as far as you can go up the block. Also, I hate the requests that need you to get something on a certain day. While I was going through them, I eventually slipped up on the one for "protein not for pros" because I forgot all about it, and saved over my file on the next day. FFFFFFFFFFFFFff---

I'm waiting for Kingdom Hearts Re:coded, which should be arriving on Friday or Saturday. Can't wait to play it in English.

I got a bunch of new games from Chrimbus, so I'm on a schedule of sorts for them. I'm in the middle of my Persona 4 play through, stuck on SHADOW pineappleING MITSUO. I just beat the Matador in SMT:Nocturne. FFFUUCCK YEAAH. Wasn't as hard as I expected, but I did die twice before I killed him. World 6 in DKCR is a god damned troll, making me think I had gotten to the boss after that facewall inducing level. Picked up the original Disgaea and restarted FFVII on my PSP, enjoying both very much. I'm pretty much being a troll in CoD: Black Ops, making people rage with my suckiness.

People aren't kidding when they say this game is easy, Only time I died was when I accidently stumbled on to dullahan with no warning or preperation (2 Identical rooms next to each other, with summon tablets in, one completely unguarded, the other also looks completely unguarded, then out of pineappleing nowhere comes dullahan to rape you. And he works the same as he did in TLA, so he wiped both my parties in 4 turns because I wasn't expecting him). Course, once I knew he was there, killed him like every other monster, but still.

On the flipside, I only used the "attack" option for every regular battle in the game. And most of the boss fights other than occasional healing psyenergy. Somehow giving every weapon after about halfway 3 + unleashes that are at the very least as strong as your psyenergy, and the enemies doing almost 0 damage if you buy current armours... How did this make in to the game :(

Also, can't they at least close half the some of the major plot points they start in any of these damn games. We're never going to get to find out what alex is actually doing, fact. Also the after credits scene is just to slap you in the face with "SEQUEL HOOK KTHEEND"
And don't get me started on missable djinn and summons.

And I know I'm still going to buy the next one. bah humbug

Well, back to Maple and Minecraft for me. I've been playing Maple since BB struck, and Minecraft on and off throughout. I've been thinking about picking up Red Dead Redemption again, but I just keep playing Maple or Minecraft. Also, I really want to pick up Arkham Asylum, but everywhere I go only has it for the 360. :^|

I already played it in Japanese, and I loved it. Sure, the story isn't as exiting as the stories in the other entries in the series, but I think the gameplay is amazing, even with the random gameplay style changes (I would've liked it if they added a way to battle some the bosses with the regular combat system too).

I personally loved SPM. I don't really put it in the same category as PM1/2, a lot of people seem to and thus bash it pretty badly for it. :< Though there were some parts of the game I couldn't stand.

Playing Paper Mario after beating TTYD is funny... I keep forgetting Superguarding doesn't exist in PM1. :(
