I actually was- But if it is terrible (I only see the kb issue of multiple monsters issue, is there another?) I'll not use it newts and use it always at ANEGO and BF and HH and other things like that except Crow cause Himes are bad to boss with due to a failure of proper luring!!!! ![]() And my guilds zruns (or w/e guild I am in) Gunslinger Build (Lv. 10-200) - Kaasoljoyyx - 2008-12-14 It would be like casting SE everytime you attack a new monster. It just slows down training even if your damage increases. Besides, canon30 is pretty dam strong already. Maybe with triple/rapid fire but still, i think it's just a bad idea. Gunslinger Build (Lv. 10-200) - Sylphior - 2008-12-14 Bullseye and Homing Beacon should be used for bossing mainly. It makes it so that you would never have to get distracted and any dmg boost Bullseye gives. it'd be stupid to do for training since either you'd be at newties killing them with octo+burst, or mobbing a bunch of weaker enemies. Gunslinger Build (Lv. 10-200) - Dusk - 2008-12-15 But the general opinion is that your ship won't be breaking much at all while training. If a ship can last for more than 10 minutes while training, I'll take the 90 second cooldown where I do less damage in exchange for better bossing capability. Gunslinger Build (Lv. 10-200) - Kaasoljoyyx - 2008-12-15 Just to note: If you skele at a lower level/it takes a while for canon to kill, your ship is going to break quite often. Some points it's okay but spawn will usually come up faster than you can take it down and spawns on top of you. Newties however is easy. I assume when my canon kills skeles under 1/2 the current it takes now, it'll be easier to keep ship alive. Gunslinger Build (Lv. 10-200) - Bribery - 2008-12-15 Either way, Bullseye is not practical for training. It's purpose is primarily for bossing. For bosses like Pap, Zak, and HT where your ship will break, I IMO Rapid Fire is more important than Bullseye. Gunslinger Build (Lv. 10-200) - ItzTaylor - 2008-12-15 Whats the preferred 4th Job Build for Corsairs? I think Imma go with the Battle Ship Cannon, then Rapid fire, Homing adv. and Maple warrior, then torpedo, and leave my octo and air strike and elemntal at lvl 1 till later on. Ps: I found Battle Ship Cannon 20 Today in FM or only 3mil. I was so happy I couldnt find it anywhere.------------------------- I see you have Air Strike really early in your guide... I don't think its that helpful maxing it that early. In all the vids I've seen, its not a full screen attack, and only hits monsters way above. Like if your standing in the middle platform of newties, itll only hit monsters on the platform above you. Is this true or was it just my eyes? Gunslinger Build (Lv. 10-200) - Dusk - 2008-12-15 ItzTaylor Wrote:Whats the preferred 4th Job Build for Corsairs? It is a fullscreen attack. It only hit 6 monsters, though. Gunslinger Build (Lv. 10-200) - Bribery - 2008-12-15 ItzTaylor Wrote:Whats the preferred 4th Job Build for Corsairs? I posted the 4th job build that I'm most likely following on the last page: Bribery Wrote:I'm considering a Torpedo early option too. This is the build I might follow when I hit 4th job: I agree that Air Strike early isn't very helpful. The 4th job build was never set in stone obviously since there are many factors to consider in 4th job. Gunslinger Build (Lv. 10-200) - FoolsLove - 2008-12-16 Out of the listed 50-60 training spots there, which is the best for a level 56? I was at Truckers for a while but it's started to get slow for me. Not counting the PQs of course, since I'm more interested in training areas and not PQs. Singapore maps are on HS now, btw. Well, you can try Straw Target Dummies, since for Gunslingers it's slightly better. Other than that, however, you don't really have anything. However, if you have very good funds (~100 million) you can try Hoodoos/Voodoos. Oh, and another way to boost up your training is by using Ciders or Warrior Elixers... Only got 20m at the moment, but I'll probably be getting a bunch of NX for Christmas, and I'm going to win an event held on a forum so I'll get some more gach, then as well (ends on the 19th). How much attack do Ciders add? Any higher than Elixirs? I've used Elixirs since about 25 or so. Gunslinger Build (Lv. 10-200) - Kaasoljoyyx - 2008-12-16 Use elixirs. Ciders are 20 attack but only last 3 minutes and only 1 per slot, really bad for gunslingers if you're still using level 10 bullets. If you want a stronger attack pot, use chews. How much (on average between all of the servers) are chews, or Khaini if you know? I don't pay attention to their sale values in FM because I've never much been to buying them. But you were at truckers. You can't recharge in Singapore, can you? I'm going to STDs right now, I'll check if bullets can be recharged there. Also, in Singapore, have you tried that sniping spot in Mysterious Path 3 on top of the hummer? My friend went from 47-54 there (he's 54 right now), so maybe it's good for level 56s. Just spam Invisible Shot and keep booster up the whole time, but bring a lot of bullets as you can't recharge them, I believe. STDs probably are the best option that I can think of right now. Ask some higher level Gunslingers you see where they trained at 56. Usually works for me. Also try v/hoodoos, and stay there if they're good. I don't know if Gryphons are good for gunslingers, but you could try them. Just experiment until you've got a good place.EDIT: ![]() Get your butt to Mu Lung, you can recharge!
Gunslinger Build (Lv. 10-200) - Corn - 2008-12-16 The heck, bullets can be recharged in Mu Lung. Gunslinger Build (Lv. 10-200) - FoolsLove - 2008-12-16 Acim Wrote:But you were at truckers. Not yet, I just stick to doing quests. I've yet to see a slinger on Khaini higher than me. I know they exist but I've never seen one yet lol. In some towns you recharge bullets/stars at the weapon store...or the potion store...or the armor store...or some combination of the above. Yeah, the place I took a picture of was the potion store. o-o Gunslinger Build (Lv. 10-200) - Chompy - 2008-12-17 Acim Wrote:Yeah, the place I took a picture of was the potion store. o-oTransfer bullets to your mule recharge and then train? That is what I'll do when I go somewhere bullets don't recharge.
