This is starting to deviate from the thread at hand, may I suggest taking it to VMs?

Was slight disappointed to see that the freebie champs had rotated out yesterday, I liked Galio. Then I saw Twitch was a ranged champ, and since I prefer ranged, I thought I'd give him a try. First match was so-so, ended at something around 7/8/5, bit better 2nd match with a 10/6/7. Then my 3rd game with him, 24/3/11! Had 2 strings of 7 kills, and a triple kill at one time. Admittedly it was against bots, but dayum that felt nice :f2: I'll probably fiddle around with a couple other freebies this week, but I'll be looking to buy Twitch when I can!

ps- Twitch with speed boosts makes me giggle

Played my first game with a friend against bots...

0 kills, a bunch of deaths, while she took down everything.

I AM SO BAD AT THIS GAME.

And by a while it means months. Play to level 30 with friends who know how to play, it'll speed up the learning curve by a lot.

Also twitch is fun but a lot of people say he's a lot worse after his rework. 3150 IP takes a while to build up so make sure you really want him first.

Definitely months. I started playing maybe 5 months ago? and I still have so much to work on.

And Twitch really isn't that bad, I don't know why people hate on him so much, he can be the nuts.
My friend has carried so many games with JUNGLE Twitch, which is supposed to be trash now.

twitch is actually my best ad carry right now, well considering the fact I only own corki/tris/twitch and I suck horribly on corki. I love spray and pray since it lets me destroy so many people in team fights and early game eplunge secures so many kills

I think "in general" it's not that good. But that's just the current consensus. Nobody thought post-evelynn was good until some people found out how to play her. Then pros played her and now she's an extremely strong pick.

Same can be said about Katarina. Honestly, if you're really good at a champion, continue playing him and disregard the opinion of others.

Pendragon comes out from nowhere, and dunks the OP by banning him for in-game intentional trolling. Huehuehue.

That was hilarious.

Though Pendragon told him he was ****ing with him, but will be throwing down the banhammer next time if he ever trolls intentionally

I got 3 kills in a whole co-op vs AI game, I feel so proud of myself.

Got out of class early, decided to play a game with the extra time I had.
The moment the game started, one guy on our team quit out because no one else could speak spanish, ended up losing.

A lot better than me when I first started. Later you'll be able to get 30-50 kills in a 9-robot custom game.

Aphromoo plays a lot of Twitch, but he also plays Draven and Varus so that's more a testament to his versatility.

I think I was just lucky in that game. Meanwhile my friend gets all the last hits and over 45 kills on our 5 bot games. But no biggie, still learning.

In that particular game, I used Tristana. That's who I've been mostly using, though I switch to Ashe every now and then (the only champ I've actually bought so far). I plan on switching to a melee champ to see how I fare with that but right now I can only afford the 450 IP ones and all of the free ones just seem really hard to use.

Played with Kog once, did not enjoy it. >:I

Looking at the free champs, I'm thinking the "easy" champs are Soraka, Pantheon, and Nunu, if you ever want to try those.
