Certain boss monsters will cast a debuff/curse/whatever on you called 'seduce' and the joke is that this creepy old and apparently ugly guy is attempting to 'seduce' you.
That's how i understood it though, same joke was done with Horntail IIRC.

There's that skill in MS that merely hypnotizes you, but instead of having an adequated name to it's effect, it's just named "Seduce".
But some monsters being able to "seduce" you, in the proper word meaning, is just completely weird. :S
