So there is permanent record that you at one point had, for example, a Blue Goblin familiar.

If there was no permanent record there would be no point to try to "get them all".

Extra cards add +30 days, to a max of 90 days on a particular mob. Tried it with Green Shrooms since they drop so easily.

New question: When you add a card to an expired mob, does it +1 to the number of cards (eg 1>>2) or does it just revive it with the same number.

And the question Flonne asked: if it had 3, and expired, and you add a card... Does it:
a) Revive with 30 days of friendship and 1 card/pearl
b) Revive with 30 days of friendship and 3 cards/pearls
c) Revive with 90 days of friendship and 3 cards/pearls
d) Refuse to revive because it can't add a card
?

Guess we'll have to wait another 60 days to test that out.

Well, technically we could test it now with something that has an expired familiar. If they add another one to renew the expired one and it goes to 2 orbs or 2 orbs+60 days, or if it just renews at the old orb number. Then again, that would be hard to know too, it would work better once the person has a 2 orb familiar, then when they renew it we would know how it works, since it would increase to 3, stay at 2, or reset to 1.

No you didn't. You might have assumed it but that is far different from knowing. Knowing requires evidence, which was only acquired for the first time today because that's the first time it COULD be acquired.

He might have forgotten about this thread, but when I asked him about this on skype, he said something like "You can use another card to get it again, and it will do the full amount you had"

I can't explain it too well, but from how I understood his explanation it meant

- If you had 1 card, and let it expire, and you used a 2nd card, it would be 60 days.

- If you had 3 cards and let it expire, and you used another card, it would be 90 days

I'll bug him to check this thread later today.

If it stays at 3 orbs forever once you get it there, that wouldn't be quite as bad for everything but Legendary stuff, I suppose.

I wonder if it will still show the phantoms of 3 if you collect them, once they expire. Because that would be fine for me. I just want to know whether or not it's worth collecting all 3 or just grabbing 1 of each
