Had to revive the thread cause I just learned something today:

10% of worlds oil is in Iran alone (compared to ~2% of US).

Now I'm not saying that I'm with the conspiracy theorists in this, but there's still some real argument in that whole oil thing.

Of course they have more but we barely use any of it. The point of the last post was that our dependency on oil is greatly exaggerated in terms of us desperately needing to steal from the middle east.
