I don't think watching anime is that terrible. Unless you dedicate a good 80% portion on your life sitting down in one sitting watching anime all day, then of course, that's of your own personal choosing. I watch anime, and download quite a lot, then burning them to DVDs and what-not. My friends all knows I do stuff like this, and normally request stuff off of me. I don't think it's an unhealthy obsession, unless it really consumes a large portion of your time daily. Just make sure you have time for other things in your personal life as well, ya know? Anything can be considered as an unhealthy obsession if you have too much of it, ie: Eating, Video Gaming, watching too much TV, etc.
Watching regular TV shows and anime is no different, except anime is something from Japan. Just limit your time. I wish you the best of luck on your future endeavors.

Dominoes pizza. Not sure exactly how this worked out, but we got an incredible deal. Two large, two-topping pizzas for $12.63. It was awesome.
