If what you want only lasts 90 days, other than a pet and pet pickup-supplies, you're doing it wrong.

How old are you that you can't spend the money your parents gave you to spend on something you want? Anyway, Just tell them you'd use it on MTS, the money you earn is permanent. And how did this 'highest DPS?' tread turn into 'how to make money' thread? Offtopic pls. Good luck on whatever you decide on doing.

You could also never upgrade your equips and hold on to the money you would have spent.

wait o.o... wasnt this thread about the highest DPS?

it varies a LOT depending in the situation, buffs, class, etc

for example:

In mapleSEA the piramid PQ had a glitch, it made you get 400% even if oyu were outside of the quest, this made bowmasters the highest DPQ class at that time, as they could hit 100k+ with critical using hurricane

but that is a glitch and glitches arent permanent (exept GMS ones ¬_¬)
I will say.. umm.... that the highest one would be a dexless sin with taos and a godly scrolled kandayo

but the DPS doesnt matter if you have fun with your class Smile

hyperhopper Wrote:whats your problem
Why?

1.You complain a lot. I’ve read a lot of your posts on SW, and from what I see, you complain about a variety of subjects. You complain about nobody accepting you into their PQs. You complain about having no money, yet your friends are generous enough to lend you some. You complain about the lack of connections or friends. You complain about your damage. It annoys me.

2.You get ahead of yourself. You’re level 55, and have already restarted what…4-5 times now? Stop obsessing about playing the most powerful class. From what I see, you’ve made your characters depending on how “strong” they are, and then switch to other characters if you think another one is “better”. Stop worrying so much about dealing a lot of damage at endgame. To be completely honest, I don’t have faith in you and don’t believe you’ll reach those levels based on your current attitude. Play a class you think is fun and stick to it. Stop switching whenever new information/classes are released and maybe you’ll get there.

3.You bite more than you can swallow. From what I see, you’re poor. If you’re poor and can barely get together the money to buy potions, don’t be dexless.

4.You don’t do research on the right things. You ask a lot of simple questions that can all be answered by reading other topics or doing a simple Google search. Southperry members are willing to help, but we aren’t pigeons; running around to fetch you information. Stop researching which class is better, and start researching where to train, how to socialize, etc.

5. You don’t seem to be willing to do hard work.

List of Hyperhopper’s quotes from SW to support my claims. Very interesting to read. A little long though, but worth the time.

3 im saving a dexless bucc for if and when im rich and can fund it

4 what friends lend me money? that happed once, 8 months ago

5 ive reasearched where to train, ive found many guides with many spots. There are not guides on how to socialize

2. According to the quotes listed in bacon's topic, you restarted at least twice. You mention giving up on your theif. And on your brawler.

3. Why? The gunslinger would be better bossing wise, and that seems to be one of your main concerns.

4. ... You contradicted yourself with your rebuttal... he said that you had been lent money, and you reply with "What friends lend me money? They Lent me money once"

5. There is like 3 sections of my local bookstores, AND PLENTY OF ONLINE SOURCES, on how to make friends... So... google search would have worked. Or ask your parents or relative how to make friends

6. That has yet to be proven.

Also, i agree with Bacon, you seem to want to ask loaded questions that, to a degree, could either be answered either with logic and thinking about it, or by searching for similar threads, and remember, you dont have to post in a thread, you can just read it. No need for necroposting on older threads.

You seem to be the type of person who is the reason i dont check SW that often. You decide you need to get everyone's opinions or knowledge on a matter that has been asked at least 5 dozen times in the last month, just to be more up to date. You created this thread to find out which class is the highest DPS, even though that is common knowledge and if you couldnt for whatever reason find it via a search, should have gone into... MAPLE Q & A... you know, where you ask questions. Or Amherst, since you may as well be starting off new. Then you started asking questions that are difficult to precisely answer, like how to make money. There is a guide for that, but its still general guidelines. because no matter what you do in game to make money, other people are going to do it too, and if too many people do 1 thing to make money for too long, then it stops being good money and you have to be able to figure out a new money making method on your own. The quests for scrolls is something you can really do like once, and get a base amount of funding. Then you just need to figure out how to buy low/sell high and merch, or do little things like Rock Scroll quests or something to make money. Or, if you can do with having average/below average damage until much, much later, just dont worry about getting good equips until after 4th job when you can(if you have friends by then) zak/scarlion/etc.

Heck, like a year before 4th job came out, i earned the 250 mil i needed to buy a zhelm by hunting ZMMs constantly. Nothing is going to be lucrative quickly, because if there were a way to get a bunch of money fast, wouldnt everyone be insanely rich? But then, the money that you could get doing whatever existed wouldnt be rich anyway, since that would be relative.

Same here.
1. Obviously you haven't.
2. Well that answers what Bacon said
3. Did you not just say you didn't like bucc...?
4. Sure...
5. And these spots are more like you asking a million questions that give you answers that obviously create more questions or dissatisfy you.
6. Get to a higher level and people will take you seriously

the thief was when i was messing around one week a long time ago, it was lvl 11. i really dont think that counts

i said if, i prbably never will want to change/wont have enough..thats only for if i get really bored

lend = present tense lent = past tense. he said they lend me money. i have no friends anymore, meaning no loads

this probably isnt the place, but i am not a good socializer, i havent been able to make a friend my whole life (save one i met last week) im not good, regardless of what my parents/psychiatrist/conselor/school teaches me

why should i have to prove it? you dont trust me when i say that i am?

highest DPS? - Dual - 2010-01-10

Just pick a class and play it. Play it during the good times and the bad times. Play it no matter what happens. Someone who has played a class and learned how to use it will be ten times better than some guy who has a bunch of money and godly stuff.

highest DPS? - Goals - 2010-01-10

I'd say stick with the corsair. You're on the right track for picking the class with the best dps. Tongue

Soon you'll learn the disadvantages of being a corsair but hopefully you'll stick to the class because you develop a attachment to the class like me. O.o

Oh yeah about your money troubles. Somehow scrape up $10 from your lunch money or w/e. Save up like a dollar periodically. Then, go to a store that sells NX (like Rite-Aid I believe? I don't buy NX so idk) and pick up a $10 card. Then use the 10,000 NX and observe work glove prices in MTS. Buy the gloves you think are cheap and sell for the price certain people always put their WGs for. If you merchant work gloves buying them at the low end of MTS price and selling them for the high end, you rake in some NX pretty quickly. If you need mesos, purchase a chaos scroll and sell in MTS entrance for 100-120m, however much it costs in your home world.

There is one problem, you are relying on people to teach you everything. Some things can't be taught, they need to be learned through exerience.

Hey guys, i am willing to work hard, i just dont want to invest time and if you guys could tell me how to get all the money i need really fast and which class is the best that be great. Also, how to i get into social circles? I need people to borrow money from/otherwise use for personal gain.

I think people should stop flaming for this reason. Poor him :[. Just leave him be I guess.

Yes, I know that asking a lot of questions is annoying but you don't have to answer them. Rolleyes

i already said im sticking with corsair. i dont want ppl to give me all their money and be my slaves, and im not a damage hoar. so stop portraying me as one. i ask some simple question and i always get flamed. you can stop making fun of my any time now

Attitude is everything, and I'm afraid you haven't shown yourself in the best light. When teased, you rush to your own defense, and say how you can start a new persona just by using an IP changer and a programs that changes your writing style (which don't exist, unless you're talking about l33tt4lk generators.) I really dislike the aura you give off, and hope you can improve on that.

Social skills are hard to learn, but the first thing you need to do is learn to control your anger, and to think twice before saying something. I don't understand why you're so obsessed about dealing the most damage in this game. Are you trying to prove yourself? Are you just trying to make friends? If it's just the latter, keep in mind that being a high level does not necessarily mean you're going to have great friends. I'm a weak little noob strutting around Bera, yet I have some very nice friends who will help me out when I need the help. How did I make these friends? It's quite easy to be friendly and socialize in this game, and I'm sure you can do it.

I still don't like your attitude though. Can't put my finger on it, but something about the way you post just makes me unhappy. Try to change bro, good luck.
