People initially thought Aran --> Arian --> Superior race, but those sentiments seem to have died off. I think once we as a community become more familiar with Ochan and Utan they'll suck less. Think of the community's reaction to "Wii".

Thing is I never made the Aran = Ayran connection, and I never had a problem with the Wii.
I am willing to admit Ochan and Utan aren't that bad (they still suck), in fact I hate Ian the most.

Wow don't overreact to something you haven't even experienced yet. It's only couple of names that could be changed any moment. It's not like your parents decided to name you Ochan or Utan.
