Why are you guys arguing about level equipment that's spitting out of the boxes? Nexon merely highlighted the 'juicy' prizes that you can get. Skillbooks aren't listed so why is no one bickering that they're getting books out of them? The list is like jackpot which you can obtain, but of course not guaranteed. Sorry but I don't think you guys have a legitimate reason to complain this time.

The problem is mostly in how progressively worse the gachaboxes have become. First time around even the bad prizes were a decent score and were things you couldnt obtain from monsters (taos before cwkpq, erasers.) Now it seems every other prize is a lvl80 equipment you couldve got while training for 15 mins or some crappy skillbook that no one ever wanted. Atleast in the first few renditions if you got a skillbook it was something that was scarce, the big ht books, or an se20, not something you routinely throw away after a pap run. The equips were rare equips, stonetooth swords were a big tcket item when they started coming out of boxes, pacs were coming from gachaboxes and dropped as low as 10m for a 2 attack clean.
Your chances of getting something worth using have dropped significantly. I kinda lost my point going into ramblings but referring to what I quoted, there were no bad prizes before, there was no npc fodder, that's why everyone is complaining starting with the last round of gachabox.

Only item worth mentioning is the sock, and that sock doesn't even add ANY stats.. And I know of others that got similar crap and nothing good.

I understand there's more junk this time, I opened 20 myself and got pretty much nothing but a navy sock and a shifter 20. But tell me when are you people opening them like mad? It's for the socks and shoes att scrolls like everyone else, that alone is probably worth the gamble to begin with. It as well being the primary reason to sucker all of us in. Good luck to those that will be opening more~

True, I did the boxes on my own accord but still, with previous gach boxes giving relatively good items at good percentages, do you honestly think its fair of Nexon to change the rates now?

anyways... i really didnt expect anything different with this event, got crap last time, will get crap this time, they should just do away with Gach all together and increase the meso output of the meso sacks lol ( oh and make some monsters drop those items at a low low low rate for the month or w/e

Gach doesn't directly pour mesos into the economy. (NPCing stuff... but meh) Meso sack does. Pouring mesos into the economy is never a good thing.

I don't plan on opening any boxes, and ever since the boxes made their first appearance, I've only opened a handful--knowing the risks involved. And wouldn't you know? I really only got one worthwhile thing from them out of the bunch. But ah well, Maplers will be Maplers.

Regardless of what you guys are thinking, this has been a good marketing scheme on Nexon's part. They first built up the reputation of the event (1st gach box with almost guaranteed goodies), then reinforced it (2nd gach event with equally good stuff), then made it a risk with the 3rd (jackpot items with a bunch of junk) and now slim to none chances in the 4th one. The reputation of these boxes have been built up...people will buy them because of their past successes and will continue to. And to reinforce, of course they only advertise the good stuff...that's what advertisement is, no?
That being said, getting the "wrong" equips from the gach does put a damper on it, but its expected. Nexon was never very accurate to begin with, what'd you guys expect?
I've always made small, but steady income selling the boxes during the events, and I see no difference here. A shame most of you got virtually nothing for your boxes though =/

I didn't buy any gach boxes, but that's pretty lame. You shouldn't say lvl 110 equips in an advertisement and give out 9x crap.

Of course the rates are going to be worse than the previous time. All of the previous possible prizes are included in the next batch of prizes. Your chance of getting a desired item is going to be less since there are so many possible prizes you can get, and more are added to the list each time.
