The quest stuff (Speig, etc) looks interesting but Mikhail is just overkill.
So has the story line changed at all.
Ok just one question can the Mihkail character go to Ereve and interact with himself...
This class is so pointless to all of us, old players.
You can't even take something good from this class, empress blessing don't work over this class, so if you want 30 Watt you need to have 120 KoC, if you had a 120 KoC before this guy, then you have a UA, the link skill is useless for us warriors/DS/mechanic users (giving a stronger version of holy charge but with a CD would be a better idea).
This job is a DW+Hero+lasers and a potential shield for Boss damage nothing else, the story line will be bad just like mercedes and demon slayer.
Hmmm. decent skills are SE, Adv Bless, CO, SI, Haste, & Mystic Door.
Link skills are %Bossing, %Exp, all stats, %Crit, and now a skill that gives 100% Stance.
Bet we'll have a link skill that gives Shadow Partner now. Then we'll be at a very bad place in MS. D:

What the hell is the point in playing as the "named" cygnus instructors? The way it worked in the first place was by the time you hit 120 as a regular cygnus you're supposed to be as strong AS the instructors. Heck, Empress Cygnus even promotes you to the same rank as them I believe? At the end of the level 120 questline. I can't believe how stupidly desperate KMS is getting, just because "new classes" are what's most popular over there.

Nexon, you are clearly, MASTERS of messing with your player base.
In the left corner, we have those whom wanted KoC to remain easy mode and unaltered, thus preventing them from getting later content....
In the right corner, we have those that wanted a raised level cap so that the KoC branch could be useful!
The solution to this problem is to make a new KoC branch that can reach a higher level and does not affect the initial KoC. The only "easy mode" part kept was the additional 10% EXP.
So basically Nexon has the potential to give both sides something that they want....
..........and piss them off at the same time. :f2:

@Jerry-Boyle; I'm betting Pirate Hero has a PDR skill link. It's the only worthwhile thing left.
Does this job use special shield like DSlayers? I saw a video of a guy in the Mikhail tutorial, and his character had a glowing shield.

BUT WHY IS THIS HAPPENING TO MAPLESTORY
And the worst part is that this isn't going to be the last set of heroes.
In Aran storyline there were some magic stones that sealed the black magician and in the DS storyline he stopped the destruction of these stones by destroying the alchemist book but in both storylines no one tells who put these stones in those places (IRC it was Victoria, orbis, ludibrium, mu lung and ellin forest), since phantom didn't move the stones and the pirate hero is likely to be dead because he is a human, there should be a hero in the shadows.
Even as a certified class hopper, I can officially say that there is absolutely NOTHING about this class that makes me want to play it. Except for 2-3 skills, everything else is borrowed from another class. Is there any REAL difference between this job and a regular dawn warrior / hero? It's like Nexon was trying to come up with an idea for a new class with as little effort as possible.
I think they spent more time on the character art than the actual skills.
Freed died, Mercedes is an elf, Aran was introduced as a member of his own race as I recall...
But there's no reason to believe that Phantom isn't human. And if Phantom is human, why should the pirate hero be dead? 'Snot like humans in MapleStory seem to be very vulnerable to death anyway.
