Doing a little bit of catching up;

Strike the Blood 17-21 - It feels like this anime is treading the softcore porn line sometimes. Not that I mind, still a relatively enjoyable show. Himeragi continues to warrant many hnnngs.

Nisekoi 7-9 - The steam censors in episode 9 were pretty annoying. The least they could do is make the steam look like it actually belongs. Tsugumi is grate, but Kosaki still best (even in the manga)

Witch Craft Works 8-9 - I'm still enjoying this series more than I thought I would. All the villains get disposed of way too easily though, it's weird. Half the villains don't even act like they are such.

Log Horizon 23 - Still by far my favorite anime from the previous and current seasons. Every episode no matter its content just draws me in so easily, always feels like only 5 minutes have passed when I watch it. Not too fond of Akatsuki still either. Glad we're getting to a conflict now too. The goblin invasion never really seemed like it was all that bad.

Tonari no Seki-kun 10 - The least they could have done with Seki-kun was make each episode a two-parter, instead of 13 7-minute episodes. Either way, it's still very fun to see Seki's antics animated.

Also going to try and watch all of FMA:B. I started watching it last year, and got to episode two but #news was having issues and then I forgot about the series. Absolutely love the OP for it.

Kill la Kill episode 23: Awesome episode. Much feels, so hype.

There is an after-credits scene which is quite important, so make sure you don't miss it.

Witch Craft Works: Dramatic Ass-pulls: The anime. What an incredibly forgetable series. it started out OK, after a few episodes it got boring since the heroine would never die, and she seemed to get a new power up off-screen in every single episode. A lot of the episodes felt like fillers, and a lot of the plot didn't make sense because basically every important conversation or event seemed to happen off-screen, just to be shown like 5 episodes later. It wasn't even done in a good way, just very lazily, and a lot of the characters were dropping too many idiot balls.

The plot didn't even kick in until the last 3 episodes or so, and even then it was barely a plot at all, with the villain seemingly having no motive or plan or action, she must have been beaten like 5 fucking times, just for everytime to go "oh no, woops, I have more bombs set up".

It also had a hell of a lot of characters who had no impact on the plot whatsoever, and were basically just there to be cute witch girls, none of the characters had any personality at all, they were all pretty generic. The main character was quite refreshing though in the sense that he didn't want to be treated like a precious flower and wanted to fight too. The last episode turned him into a whiny little wimp though.

I bet the source material is a lot more in-depth and coherent, but the anime was a complete mess.
The only thing the anime did right was its OP and ED, which were both excellent.

It is. They left a few conversations and explanations out of the anime.

Magi 20-24

This is super fun shounen. Like damn. Eat your heart out, Blue Exorcist/Bleach/Naruto/etc. Can someone explain what Yunan and Morg were doing during this arc? The anime was basically just "Let's meet Yunan then show nothing and let the viewer assume some sort of training montage in their head". And that's fine for brevity, I just want to make sure there wasn't anything beyond the assumed training montage in my head.

What they were doing was actually rather dull and was explained in like 1 page of the manga. It should be explained by the time this arc ends, or I can spoil it if you really want.

The episode where Yunan and Morg met was so long ago I can't remember if Morg decided to go to Happy-Fun-Time-Fanalis-Land or not. So I guess that's what I'm mostly off about. Don't want to miss any Fanalis fun. Ep24 dropped the line about rounding up all the Seven Seas guys, which sounds like it would make for boring television. I don't mind that they glossed over all of that.

I've been pondering watching Gintama and/or Hunter X Hunter but I'm super hesitant to get involved in such long shows. What do?

Noragami 11-12:
Solid show! Kind of the Hataraku Maou of the season. Was starting to think that Rabou was kind of a cop-out villain, but

We all know watching Yato, Hiyori, and Yukki was the point of the show anyway.

I don't think 122 episodes is super long, but the pace really couldn't be much better and the episodes somehow seem to fly by imo. I meant to smoke while i was watching 122 but i was so captivated the whole time i didn't end up doing that haha felt like 10 min or something. If you're already caught up on hxh then i still say it's worth watching if only for the fights you want to see. The anime has done a better job than all of the OVAs by far.

Mikakunin De Shinkoukei: This show was hilarious from start to finish, the music was great, the characters were all great (Benio was the funniest character ever) and the story was nice and sweet. It definitely was a great way to put you in a good mood. It was nicely paced too, there wasn't any unneeded filler, and every character got a chance to shine.

This was the cutest thing ever:

I really hope there is a second season of this.

This Season
Buddy Complex: dis show terribru
D-Frag: Actually enjoyed the show. tama-chan is very adorable once you get past her rough behavior
Mahou Sensou: show is still crap edit: holy pomegranate man, that ending was soo terrible, that it added plot holes assuming the show got a 2nd season, which I doubt will happen
Nisekoi: when you think there is progress, there isn't really I would assume since people say the manga is pretty dragged along
Nobunaga The Fool: the universe's logic is still a clusterpineapple
SYD*: finally, the end of takasquid
Space Dandy: i like the more western like short non continuous episodes for this show tbh
Witchcraft Works: I felt the ending to be really weak

Continuing over
Golden Time: 23's ending man D=
Gundam Build Fighters: TIME TO DROP AXIS
Kill La Kill: kinda will wait for the finale before final comments
Log Horizon: ending was aight, glad itll get an s2 despite BD/DVD sales
Phi Brain S3: show is finally over and everything is done. dat mini jin though
Strike The Blood: what am I watching now
Tokyo Ravens: I felt the ending was really corny in some way.

what i'll probably try watching next season:
Black Bullet
Break Blade
Date A Live II
Gokukoku no Brynhildr
Isshuukan Friends
Mahouka Koukou no Rettousei
Mangaka-san to Assistant-san to

if I should watch anything more, pretty much a game of convincing.(only reason why im not watching B&S as I have no real background knowledge of the game, I would like to know it a bit before remotely watching it)
