In MapleStory, it's not like one guy dodging will block another.

Even if there's 200 players in a map, it'll work.

Didn't Cygnus and Pink Bean require full expeditions until they were finally beaten and farmed?

I think he meant that you wont be able to see yourself in a map of 30 players?
Although having a Paladin/decoy protect his weak teammates sounds like a nice idea.

I really hope it's just for testing purposes, because having Magnus be a 1-6man boss is really disappointing...

Yeah. Hilla is a 6 man boss, and Magnus appears to be more powerful than all the other Generals. (Or at least, he is after he swipes Guwara's powers and tanks Luminous' laser.)

Considering it only has 22m HP (apparently), Nexon might have been thinking of that idea I put here of boss in which the main focus was dodging his attacks and not tanking them, ala every platformer/sidescroller ever. Then, the 6 people limit would be there to avoid that problem others are mentioning here of everyone overlapping everyone and blocking visibility.

There is seriously way much more potential in a system like this than there ever was in MS's current bossing ways.
