No, it took me one night to finish too, but I found there was a lot of frames that just did nothing or just zero progress through the story for several chapters.

But the manga didn't seem too sad.

I actually found out about the anime, then went into the manga. I loved the anime, but the manga just went into greated depth and it covered so much more.
