That would be hilarious...but wouldn't it also make this whole movie even more illogical?
Then again, you could consider Goku's family (Vegeta's side included since they're related) an anomaly in the Saiyan race too, so I guess it "works" in the end.

I'm late, but I came in his thread and immediately assumed the movie was poking a reference at Maximum The Hornone's F, only to find out in this thread that they're legitimately using the song in the movie anyway...

It's not confirmed but people are saying that Akira Toriyama came up with the idea for this movie while listening to this song.

There's a particular line in DBZ where one of the Ginyu guys makes the reference "mutants like us", although there might be something lost in the translation, like it could have meant more like "aberration" or "unusual" as opposed to an actual genetic mutation.
