Most likely keeping the game down so people get their hopes up about them ninja fixing more bugs than whats listed on the SC notice, to then crush all hopes and dreams like they usually do.

[Complete] The maintenance is complete as of 11:30 AM Pacific. Cash items in your inventory have been extended to cover the amount of time the game was unavailable.

What will be unavailable:
  • All MapleStory game servers.
Changes and Updates:
  • Back end modifications and updates will be made to the servers.
  • A fix has been applied for players that weren't able to obtain the Ancient Dragon Wing Scales from Chief Tatamo.
  • You can now skip the Riena Strait quest line cut scenes.
  • A fix has been applied to players that previously were disconnecting while playing through the Hayato tutorial.
  • You will now be able to skip the cut scene for Phantom's "The Lowdown" quest.
