Masteria lore does mention aliens long before the Visitor event was even a brain fart, and since the event had absolutely nothing to do with masteria one can hope. Then again, the lazy Nexon approach would be just putting VPQ back and call it a NLC expansion.

1) People remember and "liked" VPQ.
2) People long forgot the blue blob.

I always felt that the VPQ had a Masteria-like feel to it, but then again, Nexon claimed both as GMS-exclusive content.

It doesn't make sense for them to release 2 entirely different GMS Exclusives about aliens, especially since exclusive content is so rare (and then is usually copy-pasta anyway)

Why would they create an all new alien event when they can paste the old one back into the game and instantly appease the people who have been waiting for it

If it is VPQ I hope I can get the Time Travel medal! I think they'd have mentioned it specifically if it was VPQ though, but anything vaguely Masteria related is cool.

Maybe it's copy paste the old pq with moar stuffz? Idk. Like someone said Masteria had the Alien thing thrown around before VPQ was out.
