Make any area that is related to a boss(even the waiting rooms) unable to be /find.
Just make it say ''PersonName is online'', therefore the hacker won't know if they're technically in the boss run or not, would that be better?
That way I can keep my /find command, because I use it so much or people.

That wouldn't do anything since if they tracked you, they would still know you're about to enter a boss or inside a boss.

I'll admit that I do occasionally use the /find function to stalk people, but I only ever stalk buddies while I'm on a mule. Oh and I only stalk people who know me pretty well already.
I don't think the /find function does that much harm really, and I don't think being stalked isn't really much of an issue regardless.

I'd /find people to see if they're busy first before talking to them. My friends know to /find me and not to bother me if i was bossing or something. For me the good far outweights the harm.

I like it if I need to find a party that I've joined (especially when I'm in LHC), or I re-log and forget what channel the party's on.
Or if I want to find someone that I know but who isn't on my BL.

/find is not the problem, DC hackers are. Fix the problems with boss entrances, don't remove more features for legit players.

As long as maplestory is open, there will be d/c hackers unless nexon does something about it. You being from Broa should know this. There's always something in the game that someone will find a way to turn it against other players.
I don't wanna lose the /find feature, but if it meant making it more difficult for spammers to find out where people were at, I'd be all for it.

This sounds like a rather mundane crusade, in all honesty. It has no use outside of stalking? Have you ever tried to buy something, for the user to legitimately have max mesos already? If so, you'd know a purpose of /find.
