Now let's get back on topic, shall we?

Devil Wrote:No, because you accuse me of being a nationalist, without any grounds of proving it.

Really.. where on earth do you see me using nationalism in this thread... wtp... -.-

Words Wrote:What the pineapple are you talking about?

And anyway, who cares?

Edit: Oh, well... Rob does...

Not in this thread though.

Harrison posts something that shouldn't be news at all, Willis over reacts, and other people finally notice how Devil plugs the Netherlands in several places it's not needed. This thread in a nutshell.

Telling that this or that happens in the Netherlands that doesn't make me a nationalist... Sad

She's also ditching the massive donation she's expected to make for Japan.
GG.

Don't get me wrong, I find it really nice that you like your country so much, but sometimes, like when discussing issues about America or whatever, you always tend to tell everyone: ''Capitalist America sucks, come to the neo socialist Netherlands with free healthcare, LOLZUAMERIKANZ :+)'' or something like that.

Worthyness Wrote:"In my attempts to make a humorous video..." ? What?

This. How was it funny? Don't tell me this was supposed to be sarcasm either. I would get it if she was a professional comedian, but this was just pure disrespect. Think of the fact that over one-third of the population on Earth is Asians, and that a good majority of them have watched the Youtube video. Most wouldn't care, but with Japan in crisis, feelings are not mutual.

Well I just plan hate pure neo-capitalism, but I don't hate the USA!

But with the new neo-con near facist ultra right-wing Dutch Goverment, The Netherlands sucks balls too... really you have no idea how much fail we have here now, it's not the USA what I hate...

Also, maybe it's just because I tend to be a bit much outspoken about my personal opinion about lots of things, if not everything... while I find a lot of other people too docile and ignorant to the real world around them. Smile

Well ok, back on topic then! Tongue

I think you're overly butthurt. If she really caused you that much emotional distress, you're too sensitive.

Gonna take a shot in the dark and say you're a white guy...

Point? It's no secret I'm white.

Well it's about the equivalent of you talking about sexual harassment of a women. Sure there are some obvious red flags, but the overall feeling of impact is a little lack on you and you're not really in a position to dictate someone's emotional response.

Alexandra Wallace Resigns from UCLA - Rick - 2011-03-20

Well not really. Sexual harassment of a woman can turn in to an actual threat to her own well being, whereas comments like Alexandra's can be shrugged off with ease. I also fail to see where I attempted to dictate emotional response as opposed to expressing my opinion on it. Now, Erebus, on the subject of your comment guessing I am a white guy. Guessing I'm a white guy in response to a comment I made that you deem negative is a clear display of you attaching some negative stereotypes to white people. Congratulations, you're as bad as the girl you're looking down upon.

Well it depends, sexual harassment can range from something as physical or mental. In fact you don't even have to be in a room of the person being harassed to harass a person and frankly it's more dependent on the person on how they should feel, whether you think someone is " overly butthurt." and say that "If she really caused you that much emotional distress, you're too sensitive. " doesn't really matter because how they choose to emotionally handle the situation isn't determined by your opinion.

Never said I was perfect or that my comment was anything but the attachment of a stereotype on a race. I think you're overly butthurt. If she I really caused you that much emotional distress, you're too sensitive.

Your statement would work if I had expressed any personal emotive response to you. But I didn't. Try again.

Never said it was over emotional or your emotions rivaled that of the person you orginally said it to. Any response requires emotions so my statement still stands.

Cheese is a dairy product. Find the emotion in this response. Or you may just wanna stop now.

You do realize that it's parody of your original response as a proof for my statement about general opinion not worthy determining specified emotional impact. Right?

The response shows emotions of being annoyed or aggravated, hidden behind a seemingly random statement.
