There was a long of self-made backstory for these characters, and ultimately, the account that I played them on just, well, died. The DK still exists, but someone else's got him now.

There was a guy on EllinForest who had that as his avatar or signature. I always thought it was cool looking.

It sorta falls under pixel art category, BUT YEAH I'D SAY IT COUNTS. I've also been meaning to post something similar (finished about 2 weeks ago), but I guess now's the perfect time to do so.
