Dreams of Things to Come - CarrionCrow - 2009-12-04 KajitiSouls Wrote:What about the Black Magician mobs that appeared in the Aran intro video? Could those be the monsters being referenced? Possibly. But I doubt they are anything close to the power of oblivion monsters, and that would make the GM look really clueless. Then again I've never met or heard of a GM that knows even half of what I do about Maple. Dreams of Things to Come - Spideyjvc - 2009-12-04 It really seems like it, but I doubt they'll introduce a pet attack system into the game. The "fearsome enemies" probably won't be that high leveled. For all we know they can even just be new holiday mobs that drop holiday equips or something cheesy like that. Remember the snowman boss fight that you needed snowballs to kill? Maybe something like that, but rather than a boss it'll be maps with new snow mobs and such. Dreams of Things to Come - dpeterlin - 2009-12-04 If you don't get your hopes up then they can't come crashing down. As much as this spoiler may be hinting at some really cool things it could also be hinting at some really mediocre "upgrades." I'm just gonna continue beng satisfied with Aran and anything extra is a bonus. Dreams of Things to Come - Kortestanov - 2009-12-04 Why is the Aran's A colored? o.o I never saw it colored anywhere before... Dreams of Things to Come - Dusk - 2009-12-04 MetaSeraphim Wrote:WE'RE GETTING KRAKiA GUYS! Definitely does sound like more Masteria content, in any case. Dreams of Things to Come - Spideyjvc - 2009-12-04 Didn't they also call the new job-specific demons "some of the most fearsome bosses in all of Maplestory" or something? I'm too lazy to look back at it, but I'm fairly certain they described the new bosses as something to toot your horn about as well, when we all obviously know they're not. Dreams of Things to Come - Sarah - 2009-12-04 Kaj: I don't think that even Nexon is dense enough to mistake monsters from the past for current ones. My money is definitely on the next episode as opposed to a masteria expansion. As much as I want Krakia, I've completely given up on the idea of Nexon ever expanding on Masteria in any real way. HH2 was kind of a slap in the face as far as an expansion goes, and I think it's pretty telling of how little we should expect from that area of the game. Probably for the best considering their current writing staff appears to be absolute crap. But I do have faith in the episodic content, even if it doesn't have some great storyline and any really interesting additions, it does make playing an adventurer a little more enjoyable and a little less UGH GRIND. Dreams of Things to Come - Nikkey - 2009-12-04 Chameleonic Wrote:"Finally I moved on and the last part of my journey was not so pleasant. I found myself surrounded by new enemies, far stronger and more fearsome than any I had ever heard of in Maple World. Had they come in response to the appearance of the warrior and his disciples, or had they appeared because these things were coming? I didn’t know. At the time I didn’t care. All I knew was that I was fighting for my life against monstrosities that didn’t yet have a name. In the end, I was saved by the appearance of my beloved pet Deion who came from nowhere to help me fight these new monsters! He had with him new items, stronger than any I had ever seen that helped my skill in combat grow faster than I would have thought possible. The last thing I remember is fighting with Deion beside me, surrounded on all sides by terrifying things that needed to be destroyed." It can be all from weapons to pet equip to nx items. I would assume the latter: 4x exp cards -> He had with him new items, stronger than any I had ever seen that helped my skill in combat grow faster than I would have thought possible. I do believe Nexon is dense enough to do that in the possible factor that the man was in hallucination or even dreaming. Or something. It's a bizarre story bit. Oh, right, SEA got 3x exp cards for a limited time when Aran came out. I can definitely see them releasing 3x exp. Damn, but I already have 4 hours of 2x exp daily, I' rather not pack an extra 4 hours for 3x exp. I'm sure they don't stack (If they do, then I'd be disappointed. 6x exp, plus if they ever throw a 2x exp event, 12x exp.) but I'm tempted to try it out. Pretty sure I'll make my goal of 120 before January just with my 2x card, but 3x is kinda tempting me. Dreams of Things to Come - MasPan - 2009-12-04 Deion. Let's reverse that: NoeID. Take out the e. No ID. New monster not currently in our data, and possibly versalian. KRAKIA HINT. Dreams of Things to Come - SlayerZach - 2009-12-04 I'm getting more and more excited for this patch.. if they're adding Krakia or maybe bits and pieces of it, I'm gonna freak out.
Dreams of Things to Come - Lozmaster - 2009-12-04 Ugh, krakia can go away for all I care, it's very likely going to be a mid-8x area at best anyway. And after CWKPQ, and the newest mansion *update*, nexons already shown the habit of "lolstoryline?" Dreams of Things to Come - SuperNerd - 2009-12-04 I honestly think people shouldn't get their hopes up too much. While I'd love to be just as hopeful for some brand new Masteria stuff... I just know if it isn't exactly what everyone wanted, the forum isn't going to hear the end of it for the next few days. I agree with dpeterlin, I'm just gonna be happy with Aran, Christmas stuff and the possibility of something more. Dreams of Things to Come - y0y0y0y0shi0 - 2009-12-04 CarrionCrow Wrote:Possibly. He's probably mentioning the yeti-like monsters for beginner Arans. Monster Clean-up is also in Kerning Subway and in Nihal Desert. |
