The Dream Analysis Thread - MasPan - 2009-09-11 Serenity Wrote:I'll give you a dream that will probably scare you Just my take, without knowing you or your background or anything else. [/COLOR] The Dream Analysis Thread - VladTheLvr - 2009-09-12 Hi I had a dream last night... It was a rather long and a lucid dream but I need to figure out the last part. KK So I am in this delivery room (a room rather similiar to a room in a HOUSE episode) and this woman with beautiful curly, shiny, burnette hair is giving birth. The child (girl) was born and it looked like a happy scene but... suddenly... I got knifed through both lungs and found it very difficult to keep dreaming and I felt myself being tense as well as in some pain. Then through the door I saw a man (guy with short blonde hair) I whom I cannot identify. He was wearing a dark green jacket and asked me something about money which I told him, literally, "LOL What money". The man then proceeds to shoot the four doctors in the room (3 head shots and one doctor in the shoulder). Mean while I was trying to escape the grip of 2 long knife blades that have pierced my lungs and couldnt do it =(. So anyways in what seemed a slow and nightmarish scene the strange man stabs the baby and then takes out a silver swiss army knife (my grand father had one) and slashes the woman. On the fourth slash I break free from the knife blades and blood spills all over, turn around to knock out punch a well-muscled young black man wearing white formal clothes and some gold bling (cross with jesus but the cross is shape more like the red cross ) then I turn around and the woman shrieks out my name and the word help. I run forward to knock the blonde man down and try to turn around to get a glimpse of the woman's face but I pass out before that and.... End up on a beach at evening, in different clothes yet the different clothes have been ripped in the same place where I have been stabbed, they still have blood marks... So I swim to the beach (gentle free-style stroke) and get up ANNNNNND... ****************
My alarm beeps. God damn alarm woke me up before I was able to find out any answers. Anyways here are the questions I had. What role was I playing in relation to the woman and the baby? In the dream I received a phone call that asked me that I needed to be in the City Hospital delivery room 16A(<- This number feels oddly significant for some unknown reason). Why the pineapple did a psychotic man burst through the door and asked me about money. I just dunno. He ruined a perfectly good occasion of the birth of a baby and.... Who was the damn woman? The hair is the only thing I saw in the dream. I can bring this down to 4 candidates but idk. The voice sounds familiar too but again idk. And since this was a lucid dream I should have walked in and looked at the betch the first thing I did but no I decided to just stand and sit behind the bed because in the dream I had been awake trying to finish several errands over the course of an entire day and just felt tired and wanted to sit down. Oh and I think I should have actually shot the bastard in the green jacket. (In lucid dreams I have done this to bad guys before; generate some kind of weapon out of no where and take em out.) So uhh yea I took time to type this out... Please analyze my dream. The Dream Analysis Thread - Kurtle - 2009-09-12 Well, I don't normally recall any dreams I have. When I do it is an odd occurrence. Last night I actually recalled what I dreamed of and it kind of disturbs me, to be honest. I am in the car with my dad traveling down a 3-lane road(left turn lane in center). He is driving normally, eyes on the road, while I do what I always do, which is watch other cars/drivers. As we continue driving I notice that about a mile ahead a car is approaching in its appropriate lane. There is also a car in a driveway. The car in the driveway pulls straight out into the road and I witness it being plowed over by the other car(I believe it was a large truck). Oddly, it seems my dad does not notice this event and drives right by. I, however, am struck quite profoundly by it and reach for his cell phone. I proceed to dial 911 to report the accident. He immediately questions why I am using his phone. I explain that I am going to report the accident. He responds, "Huh, what accident?" The call connects and begin detailing the event to the dispatcher. He seems completely fed up that I am reporting an accident that has never occurred. As if he somehow knows that I am making things up. I decide not to argue, yet to plead that he sends someone out just to make sure no one was injured. He, however, curses then hangs up. The dream here begins to end with me sitting in our car feeling completely helpless and as if I have no use in life, with a great fog enveloping me. The Dream Analysis Thread - Russt - 2009-09-13 So lately I've been having odd dreams that involve me inside games. Yesterday it was Bomberman, and the day before was some FPS game. Both times, I was somewhere in between the point of view of a player (looking at a screen, bird's eye view for Bomberman) and the character I controlled. It's odd to explain, but it started game-like and gradually became more first-person as I went along. In the first one (shooter), I was in some sort of warehouse, at night, hiding behind some crates with others on my side, and shooting at some unknown enemy. After a while of this, my allies disappeared (they seem to have just vanished one by one, or escaped) and I suddenly had no gun. This happened at about the time the dream was transitioning into first-person. I started running. I went through a door into another part of the building, which was exactly like my house but with the walls all dark gray/black, everything was black and white. I hid in my parents' bathroom, and that's when I woke up. The Bomberman one was a little more vague. I remember the map had no edges, and the floor and sky were pitch-black, but the stone tiles stood out in color. At first it was just Bomberman as usual, but again the dream began transitioning into 3D, and then into first-person. As it was doing this, it gradually stopped occurring to me to use bombs, and I instead kept going left, away from the others. I was about a screen length away when the dream ended. Oddly enough, in this second dream, I kept alternating between top view and first-person view even to the end of the dream - that's how I could determine I was a screen length away. The Dream Analysis Thread - OhYumey - 2009-09-14 I woke up at 4:37 a.m. with a bloody nose. Then I woke up at 6:00-ish a.m. when it started bleeding again. I fell asleep at 6:14 a.m.

pt. 4
All this in 30 minutes. Seems nonsensical though.
The Dream Analysis Thread - ShevaLi - 2009-09-14 A robust serpent appeared and dove into the sea. It stabbed an apple with its broad sword and then fired rounds from his shiny, black, imposing handgun. The Dream Analysis Thread - MasPan - 2009-09-14 I can't get all of these, feel free to interpret as well as post, but no interpreting your own! The Dream Analysis Thread - Doxinator - 2009-09-14 Lessee. Both these dreams happened the other night. Dream 1 - I had spider-man like powers. I freaking did whatever I wanted, and then everyone hated me for some reason except this girl. I lived in a clocktower, but then the girl went evil on me and ratted me out. I then spent the rest of my dream trying to be an underwater spiderman in the middle of a lake to hide. Dream 2 - A girl I haven't seen for years was all the sudden in my choir class, sitting right next to me. That was pretty much it. I also refuse to believe that dreams have a deep, symbolic meaning. It's just childish. Even ze great Sigmund Frued, who did believe that dreams had a deep symbolic meaning, said "sometimes, a cigar is just a cigar." Dreams, zey mean nothing! They can be interpreted anyway one wishes. The Dream Analysis Thread - Horusmaster - 2009-09-23 I usually never get any dreams because I don't sleep that much. I heard that you only dream when you sleep more than you need to. Anyways today I got dream despite that I didn't sleep that much. I went to bed at 2am last night, I have an assignment due today morning before 8:30am, if I hand in late I'll get 0. Yesterday, I told my roomate to knock on my door when he wakes up to wake me up, so that I won't oversleep. So my dream was that I woke up at around 8:15am in the morning, it would take me 15min to walk to class, throughout my entire dream and I was thinking of ways to make it on time like stealing some1's bike (later got caught) or running across the red traffic light (get hit by a car) and some other stuff I forgot. until finally my roomate woke me up at 7am in the morning, and I hand in my assignment on time
