Edit: I don't see the point in increasing it, really. I rarely need to view more than 20 posts per thread. Keeping it spaced it helps me keep better track of where certain posts are in large threads and reduces the amount of scrolling I have to do.

i always used to have a problem of thinking the last post on the first page was the last post- and then replying to it. When really i would be commenting on something that was already answered in about 4 other posts lol
