I'm pretty sure you don't move during the Barrage attack animation if the enemy being attacked is immobile.... *notices smiley he never saw before*.... ![]() ![]()
Is this supposed to be the true delay of Barrage and Dragon Strike - Sn1perJohnE - 2009-06-11 I think it is the speed cap, the lil extra bump you get from it coupled with 21 SI and such might be just enough to keep you from getting hit, and the video speed up is present, but that doesnt change anything for the skills being used. Other than that, the speed difference in the skill ittself would be present in the data right? extraction please @-a Is this supposed to be the true delay of Barrage and Dragon Strike - Takebacker - 2009-06-11 Sn1perJohnE Wrote:21 SI Sn1perJohnE Wrote:the speed difference in the skill ittself would be present in the data right? extraction please @-a What? I've tested it out plenty plenty plenty of times. Even when a mobile monster is cornered/pinned, you will still move if the monster can. Can't watch the video at school so i'll check it out at home. Check out my gobies video when I test out barrage combos. It looks like you do move forward but you don't. You actually sort of move back when you press barrage and move forward after you have stepped back. In actuality you aren't moving, but it looks like you are moving forward. Skill data doesn't contain speed values. Actually, the skill data does contain speed values. Here they are: Level 1: -1 Speed Level 2: -1 Speed Level 3: -1 Speed Level 4: -1 Speed Level 5: -1 Speed Level 6: -1 Speed Level 7: -1 Speed Level 8: -1 Speed Level 9: -1 Speed Level 10: -1 Speed Level 11: -2 Speed Level 12: -2 Speed Level 13: -2 Speed Level 14: -2 Speed Level 15: -2 Speed Level 16: -2 Speed Level 17: -2 Speed Level 18: -2 Speed Level 19: -2 Speed Level 20: -2 Speed Nothing surprising. EDIT: If you have the ability to, you can find where I got the values by looking under Speed Infusion and under each level the speed change is under the "x" value. Here they are: I think he means for skill cast times, which would be correct as far as I know. The speed thread here was done by a guy checking how long it takes between one skill packet being sent to the server and another (in other words, it's probably serverside). Is this supposed to be the true delay of Barrage and Dragon Strike - ZottenKerel - 2009-07-01 Sorry but I don't get TS, I got the exact same delay with my slash claw and lvl 1 SI so what's the problem? Btw she's lucky she didn't die in that first part, when energy is charged and you don't have apple on you need to stand in pianus or bomb can explode with slight delay after energy touch and kill you. Is this supposed to be the true delay of Barrage and Dragon Strike - Russt - 2009-07-01 Takebacker Wrote:Skill data doesn't contain speed values. But character frame data does. Unfortunately it doesn't seem to be consistent (most of them follow the cast_time = sum_of_frame_delays * (speed_number + 10) / 16 rule, but not all) so it's an unreliable way until/unless we know the inner workings of how the game uses those frame delays...
